I can't say enough great things about the service department! The best customer service I've ever encountered and the diesel mechanics are essentially wizards. Troy and Baum found a mistake another dealership made and were quick to fix it. This was something other mechanics hadn't been able to figure out but they figured it out in less than 5 minutes. Traveling cross country, the truck I was driving was a truck carrying Jet A for fueling helicopters along with a trailer. Getting stranded would've sucked but dying of carbon monoxide or a fire would've been game over. These guys essentially saved my life. This is no exxageration! Mike Liebendorfer, Heath and Kelly Condray were exemplary employees and also should be mentioned because they all did a fabulous job too. The lady with the black hair at the service counter next to Kelly's station was super rude. If you take your vehicle in to service, talk to Kelly who's smile and warmth was enough to fill the whole room. That's right, lady with the black hair, I didnt get your name but you sucked. There's always one but it didn't take away from the amazing job the rest of the service department did. Don't hesitate to use this location's service department. They are the best in the nation. Decided to go out and buy a new car today, so my wife and I decided to stop by Brighton Ford. After looking around for 45 minutes, I found a vehicle that I wanted to test drive and potentially purchase. One problem.... Where are all of the sales people? We had two salesmen walk past us (during the vehicle search) without greeting us, and proceeded to sit in the shade drinking coffee and stare at us. So, like any smart person would do, we left. We can spend our hard earned dollars someplace else, with a dealership that actually wants to sell cars. I called Brighton Ford on my way to the next dealership to speak to a manager regarding our experience, but the receptionist (Ruth or Ruby) stated, "they were both busy." I asked the receptionist how their dealership works? If I need to go and find a sales person to purchase a car, and she said yes. What?! I have to find someone from sales so I can buy a car?? Doesn't sound right. I told her that we wandered the lot for 45 minutes with no assistance, but I don't think she really cared to much. Word of advice Brighton Ford: customer service is key in any business, especially in today's economy. To have sales people sitting in the shade and not being alert to customers is lazy and just bad business. Also, NEVER judge a book by its cover because due to your negligence you lost out on a sale. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO BRIGHTON FORD. My 22 Expedition went in for warranty work for a leak in my CV Axel.When attempting to picking up my vehicle after about 20 mins I was informed the vehicle would not go into gear unless it was in 4WD. They pulled the vehicle in to the shop and determined the WRONG part was installed on my vehicle. I spoke with the service manager. After another week of them having the vehicle I was treated as if it was my fault by their Service Manager Justin Ostby. Justin was rude and dismissive of my issue when I requested a letter indicating what had happened. Justin made claims such as "I checked security cameras your vehicle was never driven" "I am not going to risk my job for you to have documentation" Justin lied about my vehicle being test driven (I watched them drive my vehicle across the lot), I believe he lied about talking to ownership and he refused to give me a letter or proper notes indicating what had happened.In fact on pickup of my vehicle Justin's service department sent my wife home with the incorrect invoice. Luckily I have a very clear and concise voicemail indicating they are at fault. This was not the first issue I have had with them I took my 22 f150 in over the summer for an issue with a turn signal, during that time of them repairing it they bent my side view mirror and took nearly two months to have it replaced with no communication or returned calls from the department or their service manager Justin Ostby. read more

I brought my vehicle to them on a Monday, and by Friday, the only thing that they told me they did on the vehicle, was to test drive it 3 miles and found nothing wrong with it! The check engine light is on and twice it would not start for me. They did nothing else! On top of all this, by Friday at 12:45 in the afternoon, I had received ZERO calls from their service department and both the Tech and the Service Manager had gone home, or wasn't there for the day. The service person who took my call on Friday, could not tell me anything about the status of my SUV, nor could he talk to me about a plan to investigate the Check Engine Light that has been on! This service department has a serious personnel problem with it's service department. Quick Lane Advisor Alex Shaffer. Here is the list of observations while I was waiting for my oil change. * A elderly lady came in and wanted to get a oil change. ( Head resting on his hand, looking at the elderly lady like she was stupid) Alex said "Ya, I don't think that is going to happen" * In 10 minutes and two customers later, he instructed the ladies helping him to move the wait time from 4 hours to 6 hours. * A young lady complained about the 6 hour wait time. He offered the shuttle service. Then when the lady stormed out, he and the other two ladies started laughing out loud at her, in front of us three customers in the waiting area. * 20 minutes after he told many customers the facility was on a 6 hour wait, he arbitrarily changed the wait back to 3 hours. * Soon the wait went down to 1.5hrs My "4 hour" wait was actually 2. I feel this gentleman needs a lesson in customer service. This is not the first time I observed rude/smug behavior from him. I have just learned to avoid his desk. ****UPDATE**** When I had my wife's car in three days ago, they told me I had a screw in my right rear tire. They told me it was "unrepairable" and the tire would need to be replaced. Since it is a AWD vehicle, all four tires would need to be replaced to maintain consistency. I told them I would take to the place I bought the tires from 4 months ago, I had a warranty with them. I took the vehicle to the tire shop today. The tech took one look at it, and pulled me into the service bay. The screw was just lodged in the tread. The screw had not even penetrated the tire!!!! If I could give - 1000 I would! This place SUCKS every time we tried to get a service they tell us it's wear and tear and our warranty doesn't cover it! How is a airbag light coming on wear and tear? They just want $$$ but won't fix anything! Took it in for clutch problems, they said it will cost thousands and warranty doesn't cover. Took it somewhere else and it WASN'T even the clutch! "Family owned" must mean a not very caring family. I have wasted so much time with this dealership, that this review will be the last second I spend on it. Even before the transaction, I felt like just a number to the sales team and was lied to about multiple details of the vehicle. Long story short, I left my 2018 Ford F150 with Brighton Ford's service department for 22 days for warranty repairs. When I picked my vehicle up I discovered that my subwoofer, which was mounted in my truck was missing. Brighton Ford service looked around the shop and called the mechanic, but apparently no one has seen it. There are no signs of forced entry or a break in. Brighton Ford will not take responsibility for losing/stealing my property and the general manager, Josh Mead, nor the owner Stacy Mead will reply to my attempts to contact them. I don't think it is too much to ask to replace my property. Customers shouldn't be treated like this. read more

I took my truck in for an oil change and they up sold me to change cabin filters and what not. When I picked up my truck the price threw me off so I asked why it was so high they told me they changed the cabin filter and rotated the tires (didn't justify the price) but I went on my way. On my way home something was troubling me, I didn't leave my wheel lock in the truck so I was surprised they would rotate my tires without it. Upon getting home I walked around and to my surprise they did not rotate the tires at all. I know they didn't because of very specific scratches on the wheels and they were in the same place I had installed them (very recently). After contacting the dealer concerned if they even did the oil change since they lied about rotating the tires. The service manager was upset with me because I questioned if my vehicle was even serviced. I tried to speak to a general manager expressing concern and was blown off. The service manager called me instead, again upset, to tell me that I wanted to I could come and review the cameras to verify the oil change was done. Why would I, or anyone, have to verify everything is done if I'm already paying for it to be done? Terrible terrible service I will not ever take my vehicle again and I strongly advise you not to as well. read more

What a fantastic experience we had here buying a used 2015 Escape. Our salesperson, Maynard, was extremely professional and ethical in dealing with us. The entire process was quick and efficient and quite enjoyable. We even came back a few days later for a refresher on all the features and electronics of the vehicle and were not rushed whatsoever. Started well, we own a large local HVAC company and have been using Brighton ford to service our fleet as well as recently purchasing new vehicles here as well, unfortunately since then I've been attempting to purchase more vehicles from our salesman Maynard and he has on three separate occasions basically refused to assist us in purchasing new vehicles. Once telling me he would send info (nothing), once blowing off my call telling me he was busy and will call back (nothing) and once neglecting to respond to emails attempting to follow up on our request to buy from them! Unbelievable! We are not only moving our future purchases to another dealer but we will also no longer be using them for service/maintenance on our fleet.. What a shame. I did the chat function to ask for a quote for service and parts, I never got an email or a call, so I called and was put through to the service department 3 times, no one answered. I got on the chat function again and asked for a quote and let them know no one had given me a quote. The person even confirmed my email again. I STILL never got a quote. Won't be taking my cars there ever, Groove Ford on Arapahoe will continue to have my business even though it's a further drive. read more

They made the whole process very easy and I was so happy with my car. I had something happen to the wheel two days later and Artur (R2) told me to bring it in. The Quick Lane here is horrible. You're Better off going to Grease Monkey, at least they actually do what they say. You'd think going to the dealership is the way to go, I own a Ford, so take it to a Ford dealer right? Wrong. They offer a" 10 pt inspection" at no charge, but they never do it. I knew my brakes were getting low and somehow I magically grew brake pads cause they were in "the green" lol. Not only that, they didn't fill my fluids which were obviously low, nor did they check my tires, tpms light was still on. Horrible customer service. Don't take your car here, you're rolling the dice. I wish I could do two reviews, because I've had nothing but great experiences with the quick lane here, they are always on it and provide outstanding customer service. However, I've had two sales experiences with this dealership and both were not great. First time it basically boiled down to not being a big enough fish so the salesman blew me off and never followed up. Wasn't a huge deal so I just moved on and decided I'd give them another shot. When searching I found a specific vehicle I was interested in, and we were going for a two vehicle deal. Well I noticed when I looked online the price of the vehicle had an * by it, so I figured they weren't giving me a real price, sure enough it wasn't even close ($4000 difference which seems like a bit more that asterisk difference). First clue I wasn't dealing with up and up. Anyways we spelled out what we wanted, we drove a couple vehicles and chose two. Sat around waiting and after about four hours we sat down to close the deal. Only then were we informed they had given us 7 years of payments which had never been disclosed. We asked for the specifics of the terms and mysteriously the salesman couldn't provide them. We decided to walk, and told the salesman to call us with the specifics before we would return. When he did we were informed they had us at a 5+% interest rate. We qualified at two different locations at less than 3.5%. Not sure who they are using for financing but they need to change if they can't be competitive. We closed a deal for better cars, less mileage, less years and a much better interest rate at another dealership. After the way I was treated by the service manager, I have bought my last Ford vehicle. I recently bought a Ford F-150 from this dealer, and throughout the transaction I told the sales person as well as the finance person I was buying the truck for one purpose- To tow a trailer. They assured me that this truck would have plenty of power, had the towing package and everything I needed. I saw a tow button and a +/- on the stick from the right hand side of the wheel so I assumed I did indeed have everything I need, the group was so helpful! 6 weeks later I bought my trailer and was very happy when it was all hooked up to my truck and I was ready to go, but was I? The trailer dealer told me, I in fact did not have a tow break controller and it was against the law for them to allow me to take my trailer off the lot. I was crushed, so I called Brighton Ford and requested the sales guy Anthony and the Finance guy Rudy to call me back as I was dumbfounded to find out this news. Rudy, never did call me back, in fact I left 4 messages for him. Anthony did call me back and said he was sorry for the confusion, but no I didn't have a towing break controller on that truck...REALLY, Humm maybe someone in the know should have told me that before I left the lot. I asked if there was anything he could do to assist me for the confusion, I was not asking for anything free but maybe a discounted install fee? He said he would get back to me, he did on Monday...Sorry we can't do anything for you, no discount, nothing, we can install that part if you would like to drive out here (30 miles from my home) but that is all we can do. Not happy at all with that customer service. If I tell you right up front what I am using the truck for, maybe you will take the time to make sure I have everything I need!!!!!! so after going to another Ford Dealer to install the controller I hope to pick up my trailer and be able to enjoy it weeks later. read more

I ended up at Brighton Ford because they sent out a sales flyer at the right moment. As expected, the sales gimmick was just that - a gimmick. I also had to go through the usual games you play when buying a car from a dealership. All that aside, I'm really happy with my purchase and subsequent service at Brighton Ford. I bought a used car, and although there was no warranty, they took care of a couple of issues for me. There was a misunderstanding with my service appointment, but they made it right. I fully expected that they'd make a hollow apology and leave me hanging, and they didn't. You can't ask for more. I recommend checking out Brighton Ford if you're in the market for a car. read more

I came into the Brighton Ford to get 2 new rims on my vehicle since they were damaged. I ordered 2 rims and when I got them they were the wrong rims. This happened for 3 more times afterwards until I got one of the two rims correctly sized, colored and not dinged scratched or damaged. I then got the other one correct the next day. This was a huge waste of time going back and forth all but one time to call and let me know they messed up again . Also I have to get a new part for my car that plays music because for some reason it does not work now. And I know this because I played music in my car on the way to Ford. Very disappointed for a place that have pros working on cars. Do not go here unless you have all the time in the world to throw away! read more

Awful. Young lady at the desk on the sales floor is much more interested in her cell phone than who is walking through the door or their needs. Service at the Quicklane is my real complaint, absolutely terrible service. I was given an approximate wait time of an hour and a half as 3 others were ahead of me, that was fine with me. At the hour 45 mark I asked why my truck was still in the parking lot, they got confused and ran around my truck at least 2 times. Upon completion of the oil change they parked my truck by the front door and it took another 20 minutes to get one of the guys to quit flirting with the girls passing through and get my paperwork completed. I purchased my truck here brand new, oil changes and car washes are discounted or free but I will never step foot on this property again. I have to say we were so impressed by the treatment we received that I was taken by surprise by all the bad reviews on here. Brighton Ford must have taken the reviews to heart because I have nothing but good things to say about our experience. There was no wait time for assistance. Tito was our sales rep and we would highly recommend him to anyone. He was friendly, understanding, helpful, patient, knowledgeable, and has great follow through. We got an excellent deal for our trade in and for the vehicle we purchased. Our experience was hassle free. We took a long time to make a decision and we never felt pushed into anything nor were we made to feel like we had to leave with a purchase, this gave us the opportunity to make the best decision we could for our business. We felt like Tito understood that this wasn't an easy decision for us and we felt like he cared to do the best he could for us. We left feeling like we were well taken care of by everyone we encountered there, it was a pleasant and clean environment, and we would highly recommend this place for purchasing a vehicle. I'm a first time car buyer and I had been looking for a used car for a while. I stumbled upon a pretty nice ford escape online and decided to call and get more details on it. Zach, who i spoke with on the phone, was very friendly and gave me all the information I needed so I decided to go check it out in person and do a test drive. When I got there I was greeted right away and Zach came out not too long after and connected me with Miguel to show me the car. During the test drive we noticed a sound coming from the back which seemed to be the brake pads. Even though they assured us they would take a look at it in the shop and fix any issues before selling it to us, I still wanted to look at some other options. Miguel was super friendly and informative from the start. Even though he was busy helping other customers, I still felt like a priority and I wasn't ever left alone waiting for too long, which is always very much appreciated. He showed me two other cars, one right at my price range and one a little bit above my price range, but still very much so the type of cars I was looking for. After test driving both cars I ended up liking the more expensive one, since it had more of the features I was looking for, but it was still a great deal. Miguel was very patient throughout the whole time I was there even though they were closing, and not once did I feel rushed or pressured to make a decision. I did end up purchasing the car, and although I had to drive about an hour to get to the dealership it was definitely worth it and I wouldn't have wanted to purchase my first car anywhere else. Miguel deserves a raise! (: He took all the stress out of car shopping and answered all my questions and concerns. Terrible! They tried to seriously low ball my trade in. Kelly Blue book trade in value was 29k avg. and they offered 20 K for a fully loaded F350 in excellent condition with low miles. They couldn't even find any records of us even through we purchased the truck there and had it serviced recently at this location. No wonder it only has 2.5 star rating. They said things that I've never heard from a salesman. read more

We took our 2013 Ford Escape in for an overheating issue. They said the only fix was a new engine - $8000. We took it to an independent repairman who found that no software updates had been done for years! That, plus a few minor repairs valued at $400 fixed the issue that Brighton Ford thought only a new engine would fix. read more

While the sales guys were very helpful, they failed to tell us that our title would be mailed straight to us and then failed to relay the correct address to the title clerk. We were told they would mail the title to the Wyoming county where we live but but it wasn't mailed for a month and the sent to wrong address with a check for the sales tax to wrong county. I literally spent hours tracking the title down and then had to pay taxes again!! Brighton ford reimbursed the taxes but I can't see going back there for any reason. The process was made way more difficult because there is a great lack of communication at this dealership. Service dept typically makes me wait 1-2 hours for a simple oil change. I have purchased 3 new vehicles from Brighton Ford and this last one was the worst transaction ever. My sales rep was great however the finance dept not so much, felt as if my money didn't matter. After I followed through with the purchase I was given a free oil change voucher. When it was time for my first oil change I made appt, arrived 25 minutes early and after waiting over an hour had to go ask how much longer. After the service rep checked on my vehicle I was told it would be at least 30 more minutes before they even get to it, so if I was 30 minutes late for my original appt they said I had to have I still would have been waiting for my vehicle to be taken into the garage. After being informed of the extended wait I decided to leave, the service rep apologized but nothing else for my inconvenience, lost time, wasted mileage and fuel. These salesmen try to push everything extra on you when you are signing a contract. They talked my son into adding GAP insurance, but received nothing about it except how much it costs on the contract. We were never given the papers that show what is covered and what is not. Now, three years later, my son gets t-boned in an intersection and the vehicle is totalled. We contact GAP, but what a joke. First we had to send in the same documents more than 10 times. Next we find out that we have to send them the entire payment history from the lien holder. This is because they look to see if you were EVER late on a payment or deferred a payment, as they do not cover those months. I was also told that they paid from the time they complete the claim. The claim should cover from the date of loss, I called the dealership and they have no idea what I'm upset about because they themselves don't know what's covered and what isn't. They should have given my son the booklet from Gap insurance that states exactly what is covered and what is not. as PER THE LAW.. Instead it just shows where we owe them $800.00 for the product. They don't assume any responsibility from not given out the proper materials, AS REQUIRED BY LAW. They just simply don't care. They got their fat commission. Customers are the ones who suffer. I believe that my son should be compensated since he did not receive what he was supposed to receive. Thus, he had no opportunity to read the important gap coverage info and cancel it if he thought it was not beneficial. HAHAHA . Brighton Ford won't even apologize. read more

I have been trying to hold off on any reviews of Brighton Ford as I do not like to give reviews good or bad unless they are warranted. Today was the last straw, I don't know what to do I am at my wits end. Walked in to make a service appointment to put my truck together after Brighton Ford took it apart and the service advisor looked at me then walked away. Bought a truck here in 2016, committed to a deal and when I came in to sign the paperwork the deal changed and my trade was now worth $1000 less. I went ahead with the deal as I liked the truck. Now for over a year I have been trying to get an issue fixed, I have had it in there multiple times, I can't get return phone calls, the service advisor I was put with should not be in any sort of customer service industry at all. If the service manager tells you that they will need to call Ford engineering to get a consult, that means we don't have a clue, don't bother us with your problems, and will never follow up or call back. All I want is my truck put back together and my engine light off (20K miles on the truck and purchased brand new). They will never hear from me again, I will take it elsewhere for my issues that they supposedly consulted Ford engineering for. Please just do your jobs and you will never see me, my family, my friends, coworkers, anyone I can tell about my experience at your dealership again. read more

a repair that was supposed to take 4 business days to complete ended up taking 6 business days to complete which left me hanging for a total of 15 calendar days with out transportation. The service tech Bob very frustrating to deal with treated me as if I was the little lady and had no idea about time frames and mechanics. When I picked up the vehicle finally yesterday good old Bob who quoted me 1800 on the phone for the repair gave me the bill and said I got you a discount (after I asked do I get a discount for you having the car for the extra week?) I said great then he handed me the bill for over 2000.00. Of course me being the little lady knew mechanics enough to know there would be some extra charges not revealed at the beginning but furious for not being told asked why what happened to the quoted amount? Again good old Bob said well you are wrong I quoted you 2200 see I wrote it right there on the form. Of course I paid but again very disappointed I would think if different parts needed ordered or a mechanic was out I would have been informed not left in the dark. Air filter on vehicle was full of dirt, paint imperfections masked/covered up, so after a couple washes the imperfections show. Service didn't fix anything, gave the car back dirtier than before. You have a big concrete lot. Whyyyyyy do they get mud on my truck before me!!!??? They didn't wash it cuz of the paint touch up they had on there. So overall my experience with my salesman wasn't bad, he was pretty nice. Unfortunately this dealership sold me a car that didn't pass emissions, you only have 3 days to take it to the emissions testing. Then to make matters better you have to take the car back to the dealer within those 3 days as well. I live 35 minutes from the dealer and now I have to drive my car all the way there today or else they're no longer liable. Even though my emissions slip said that I got a check today, and that it failed. Needless to say, I'm not too happy that I have to go drive 35 minutes each way and waste gas money because they made a mistake. read more

My family buys cars new- knowing they depreciate as soon as you drive off the lot but we also always know what we're getting, so buying used was definitely a new ballgame for me. We visited numerous vans, some at small mom and pop dealerships, some privately owned, a few that we were serious enough about to have a pre purchase inspection on. We finally found a van that we fell in love with and felt good about buying it because it was from a reputable Ford dealership in Brighton. We were thrilled and thought it was perfect and we trusted the inspection Ford had done was reliable and that they had fixed anything problematic prior to reselling the van to us. Aside from the slightly above average mileage for a 2015, our salesmen, Zach and Anthony, assured us the van was in pristine condition. So we drove it home, drove it for registration, and 2.5 times to the mountains and back. On our 3rd trip to the mountains, the engine started making the worst noise. We had our van towed to the nearest Dodge dealership thinking the issue had to be covered under the powertrain warranty as it had been inspected 3 months prior and we had only put 600 miles on it with no issues. We came to find out that the oil pan was bent so much that it bent and cracked the oil pump and our engine was starved for oil requiring us to put in a new engine. Of note, we also found that our fluids weren't topped off when we bought the van which should have been a warning sign as to the attention to detail that Brighton Ford's service department provided. When we reached out to Brighton Ford's Upper Management we didn't get a response from the GM's or customer service until we physically went to the dealership where we were told there was nothing they could do and that "they were sure they would have seen the damage and replaced the oil pan if it had been done prior to us buying it." I feel as though we've had the stereotypical, worst case scenario, used car experience despite our research. We learned that we would get a second inspection outside of the dealership.
