Walked in with bank financing at 1 p.m. They stalled me until after 5 p.m. (when banks close) and told me my bank financing fell through. BUT they'd be happy to finance me. It's just they couldn't get the interest rate as low as my bank but still a good rate at 13+%. My bank financing was 6.99%, but they waited until after the bank closed to tell me that there was a problem with my financing si I could not call the bank to verify or find out what the problem was (if there even was a probkem). SHADY. To add insult, the salesperson I had been working with suddenly had to leave at 5... right after he told me the bad news. Really horrible experience. I did not purchase from them at tgat time. I went back again last month, a whole tear later to see a car I really liked. I did not have an appointment, but there were 3 ir 4 salesmen standing around. They found someone to help me so I asked about the car theit website lists ad being there on their lot. Well, guess what, it wasn't. I asked if there were similarly priced cars for sake and he straight up said no and walked away. He did not try to sell me anything else or even bother to see what they have in stock. When you come to this place, make sure you bring a plate of food or fast food bag to eat, cause you're gonna be staying there for a whole 4-5 hours to get your new car. I want to thank this dealership from the bottom of my heart for giving me such a horrible experience that they ended up leading me to finding my dream car through *Carvana* instead of them lol. In all seriousness--their shady & morally bankrupt manipulation tactics reminded me why dealerships are dying & people are buying online instead. If it weren't for my nightmare experience there, I wouldn't have found a higher trim level, half the mileage, and saved $5,000 by on Carvana instead of a dealership like theirs that treated me so horribly. I came in ready to buy the car. The test drive was flawless. I had pre-arranged financing from my credit union. I had already confirmed the out-the-door price by email directly from them. I was not negotiating the price. I was prepared to purchase the car at the price they asked for. Instead, the following happened. 1. I was told I was required to apply for financing through the dealership in order to buy the car. That was a lie and unnecessarily dinged my credit. 2. The most egregious moment came when I was repeatedly told they literally could not sell me the car at all unless I financed with them (a lie). After being sent away due to this, I left and was crying in the parking lot. At that point someone ran out and suddenly said they would "fight for me" to make the sale happen, even though they clearly had the ability to sell me the car the entire time. They did it on purpose to pressure me. 3. I was told they could not print a buyer's order which was another lie. That document was literally the only thing needed for my lender to fund the purchase. 4. During this process they began questioning my income, my business, and my credibility with comments like "if you are who you say you are" and "if you really make that much," despite the fact that I was not asking them for financing! I had already secured my own. This made me feel discriminated against. 5. Fees began appearing that were not included in the previously emailed out-the-door price. This was when I learned that shady places like this verbally lie and hide the truth in the fine print to avoid legal liability. It became clear to me that my crime was not financing with them (which is how they make most of their money). And so they punished me. Thankfully, places like Carvana and Carmax are growing every day because their business model isn't dependent on lies & manipulation like this place. Ironically, that experience ended up being the best thing that could have happened. It reminded me exactly why so many people are walking away from traditional dealerships. Within days I found a better version of the same vehicle through Carvana. Higher trim. Half the mileage. $5,000 less. No games, no fabricated requirements, and no four-hour waiting process designed to wear customers down. So again, thank you to this dealership. If it were not for this experience, I might never have sworn off dealerships and found my dream car through a transparent platform instead. read more

Took it to a Lexus dealer and was told the car had been in an accident and the front bumper was hot glued together and needed to be replaced. Echo Park in Thornton took no responsibility for it. I drove an hour to test drive a vehicle and then purchased it, they tried to get me to finance even though I told them I was paying cash, also tried pressuring me into buying their extended warranty, which I said no to. They would not take a personal check for the vehicle so, I had to go to the bank and get a cashiers check from the bank. Then no original paperwork with the deal, only photo copies. Over the last 20 years I have bought many vehicles for my company and always received original paperwork with them. Now it has been a month and a half and still no title for the vehicle. Put in a call to them to ask about the title and oh we will have a salesman call you back! what a load of CRAP! read more

A tad of a slow start. Mostly because we really didn't know their process. Some good information was shared in a conversation I had with the manager Ryan. They really are trying to make this place no pressure. While currently they are going through growing pains due to increased foot traffic and customer demand. Coming off of the slower winter season they have had a rush of customers likely due to their great pricing and no pressure environment. I would give this experience 3 stars. Overall the sales process was easy, they had a great selection, and very friendly staff. The two star reduction comes from the fact that with the car we purchased, we asked them to check the breaks and a noise coming from the engine. Upon the sale, they said it was fine. We did end up needing to bring it back to their shop and the breaks did need to be replaced after all. Which they covered, which is a good business practice. We did need to bring the car into a brand-dealership shop following that and luckily the part was under warranty. If it hadn't been, it would have been quite stressful for us! It was overall a neutral experience! If the breaks had been repaired prior to the sale, we would have been a lot happier! read more

I made an appointment on Friday for a Saturday 12:15pm test drive. I gave the exact VIN# of the vehicle I wished to test drive the following day. I received not one but two confirmations on the appointment. When I arrived to the store I was greeted then shown to the waiting area. We waited about 10 minutes just to be told they sold the vehicle I came to test drive. The drive to the store from my home was a 45 minute ride one way. These folks completely wasted my whole Saturday morning. I will never return to any of their locations. read more

Horrible experience! Test drove several cars and found one we liked. The salesperson informed us that there's an additional $699 charge for treating the interior/exterior. I told him it should be part of the price if it's mandatory. At any rate we were willing to purchase the $37 vehicle. The salesman then ran the numbers and came up with a $44K price tag before taxes. This was due to him adding on over $6K for gap insurance and an extended warranty/maintenance plan. We told him we didn't want that but he persisted until we just got up and walked out. This lace is a total money grabbing scam! We were ready to buy the car for $37K but their greed was so blatant and disgusting they wouldn't allow it. I'm embarrassed for this company and that salesman. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Just read the reviews on their website, you'll see many more almost identical to mine. One star only because there wasn't an option for less... much less! read more

We test drove a car on a Friday. We made an appointment to come back Saturday. When we arrived we had to wait over and hour for our scheduled time. Once we met with the sales person, we put down a $500 deposit to buy the car of interest. I started getting calls and e-mails from multiple people. I made an appointment to come in the next Thursday to finalize the purchase. I then got a text that told me that someone else had bought the car. Someone called me after I said I was confused. They explained that someone else had bought the car, allegedly before we put the deposit down for that exact car. We hung up. I then got a text confirming an appointment for the next day. They took an hour to tell me my 2016 ram diesel was worth 5k. I have 10k in upgrades on the truck no lights on and one dent in the rear bumper. they stated it had been in an accident and had a branded title and so was worth 5k. I really like the car i test drove but thought it was a little over priced. The sales guy was a jerk from the beginning was about twenty with double nose piercings talking down to me about how down payments and interest rates work as though i couldn't pay cash or hadn't bought and sold five homes and owned my own businesses. I should have walked then i already knew i wouldn't ever give them my business but wanted to look at the math. Once it came back i knew my first impression was correct. The funny thing is i had seen this truck featured on their website for at least 60 days its not going anywhere but i thought what the heck maybe the math will work and they want to make a deal especially since it has been sitting do long. Boy was i wrong. I wont be back unfortunately but thought cautioning others might be kind so they don't waist time since this dealership still thinks its 2020 with high prices and instant sales. Less than 12 months later i take the car into a Mitsubishi dealership for issues and they say- who sold you this car! this 2022 has a replaced catalytic converter half-welded on. OH and guess what the $4700 PLATINUM WARRANTY doesn't cover- catalytic converter. SCAM SCAM SCAM all the way. read more

They have decent prices, and I like the idea of a no-haggle dealership, but unfortunately they use dishonest practices. I scheduled a test drive for a car I was interested in, but I got a call the morning of that the car had been sold. I was asked what I liked about it, and I said I was only interested in that make and model, of which they had no others. The woman I spoke to was pleasant, so I chalked it up to the inventory not having been updated yet after a recent sale. The car stayed up on their website, and there was a price drop on it the next week, so I checked in to ensure there hadn't been a mistake, and I was told that the car had in fact sold. The dealer then proceeded to contact me multiple times about that specific car via automated text messages. The car is still listed on their site more than a week later and has undergone two price drops, apparently imaginary ones since the car is no longer actually for sale. I just got another automated message about the car and how it could be gone tomorrow if I don't act immediately, and I already told them in no uncertain terms not to contact me again about an unavailable car. I would not purchase from this dealership now, regardless of their prices. read more

Update - 1 star. 6 months after buying the car I took it in to a well respected repair shop and they told me one of the engine mounts was cracked, (and gave me a picture) and the other was worn. Supposedly this was part of their pre-sale inspection. This is a safety issue and will be quite expensive to have the engine removed and fix. I would never ever buy a car from them again. read more

We were told the car was out for windshield repair and wouldn't be back until Wednesday. I should have gotten my check back. On Wednesday, we call and find out that they don't know where the car is?! Today, I've tried to reach out to a manager and to customer service. Still, no one calls us back or tries to let us know what is going on! They have our money, we have no car! Found a car online. Started the process for a cash purchase with trade online. Paid nearly $9,000.00 online as balance between offer for trade and price of car. Monica Adams set an appointment to bring in the trade and pick up the vehicle. When we arrived 10 minutes early for our appointment, the front desk took our name and cell number. About 20 minutes later "Jerome" called and said he would see us. I walked in and found Jerome. He asked what car he could show me. I told him I had already purchased the car and was there to pick it up. He seemed surprised I had already paid (which should have been a clue to run away). He was incredulous when I told him I had already paid. I showed him the receipt. He said, "oh... do you have a trade." I said, "yes, it's right outside." His question was, "do you know the payoff?" Again, another clue to run away. I told him it was paid for and showed him the title. He said, "well, drive it to the garage over there, and we'll get it appraised." I said, "well, I did it online, and I have an offer." His response was, "well, we still need to check it." I drove the car to the garage (2 bays, both blocked with unoccupied cars and no one anyone near them.) Jerome walked over and said, "keys in it?" I asked about how long it would take. His response was, "I don't know, it's Saturday, and we're really busy." My response was that I had two small children with me, so, would it be 30 minutes, an hour, four hours, or what? Jerome said, "I don't know, do you want to do this or not?" Shocked by his attitude with a customer, I asked if I could see a manager. Enter the "manager," Richard Lagano. I let him know that it would have been nice for Ms. Adams to disclose the wait and need for an appraisal when I had already received an offer online. In addition, I complained about the attitude of Jerome. The "manager" apologized for Jerome and said "sometimes they get defensive." He said, let me go check it out. I will be right back. He retuned in 10 minutes to let me know that it would probably be more than hour. I asked to get my keys and money back. He asked for my driver license so he could check on a refund. He returned in 5 minutes to say, "since you bought it online, there were no refunds." I got his card and left. The card shows that Richard Lagano is not a "manager," but is instead a "Sales Coach." So, in summary, don't patronize these thieves. Their customer service is non-existent, and it's obvious turnover here is a big problem. It's quite the culture shock... read more

If a salesman brings you a car to test drive with all the windows down, chances are he's trying to hide something. That's what happened to me. When I picked up the car after the sale, it was very smoky smelling to the point that it was barely drivable. Took it back for a refund and to get my trade-in back, but couldn't get the trade-in back. Got a full refund and got what they paid me for my trade-in, but now have no car. They wanted me to buy another car, but after their deceptive sales practice, there's no way I was about to buy another one from them. Explained to the sales manager what happened to me, but found no sympathy there. Plus the interior was very dirty. My cleaning towel was black from the steering wheel and it still smelled like smoke. They sold me a lemon. Made sure it was nice and warm each time I drove it, and surprise, when it cold starts you can hear multiple lifters sticking! Oh and they got rid of the car i traded in within 2 businesses days too! So now im forced to either keep a lemon while their mechanics tell me its not an issue, or go without a vehicle. Great. Terrible experience. I was interested and would have bought the car but I refuse to give you any business. Customer service representative, Juliet F, never even asked me if I was interested in pursuing buying the car. She verbally gave me the trade in value appraised in my car. I asked for a printed copy of it. She went and printed it, handed to me and walked away. I don't know why she don't bother to ask if I was interested but I think she didn't like me asking her to wear her mask correctly -over her nose. It didn't seem like employees took the pandemic very serious. Saw a guy pull down his mask to apply lip balm to his lip, then went back touching his iPad and desk. Besides the rude, incompetent, and non-helpful CSR, I had another issue. My current car has front end damage from being backed into. The hood has not been opened since the accident because of concern it may not close again. I asked Juliet that the appraisal process not open the hood- regardless of how it impacted the appraisal value. She assured me they would not open the hood. When I got back from the test drive, I see they have opened the hood. Luckily it was able to close when finished with the appraisal but incredibly disrespectful to not obey my wishes. What's funny is Carmax appraised the same car for a higher value and without requiring me to open the hood as they understood my concern. They also had better COVID precautions which is important to me as I have went through cancer twice. It was clear from my experience that Echo Park only looks at customers as numbers and give zero shits about anything but moving volume and padding their bottom line. 2 stars is generous. read more

I went to the EchoPark dealership in Thornton, CO. I test drove a 2022 Ram 2500 at the dealership and informed them of my intent to purchase the vehicle. As I was paying cash and did not have an "approved" form of payment, they informed me that I could hold the vehicle with a $500 deposit either made at the dealership when signing all the paperwork, or could make a non-refundable $500 deposit online to hold the vehicle. I was unable to do this online at the dealership as the internet connection would not allow it. When I arrived home at 6:00 pm, I immediately logged in to the dealership website and completed the deposit. I received a phone call from the dealership confirming my appointment to pick up the truck later this week. I also received 3 emails thanking me for joining their program and telling me my car had arrived. An hour later, I received a phone call from the sales manager, Siobhan Pinkerton, telling me that someone had arrived at the dealership and that they were selling the truck to another person. After a tense discussion, Siobhan refused to back down or see my point. She refused to honor my hold and told me of her intent to sell the car. I feel this is a breach of contract seeing as I had a verbal contract with the salesman and sales manager when I was in the dealership 4 hours prior. I was even given a printout of the sales price and agreement. Do not do business with this company. They have done this before, as previous reviews have stated. We bought a car here and left with extremely mixed feelings. Most of the time we were there, it felt like they truly did not want to sell us a car. It was like we were having to go out of our way to give them our money. Watching our sales rep Luis go and sit down with 3 other customers while we were waiting on him to move the process along was super annoying. There was zero personal touch, and we contemplated leaving multiple times. On top of that, watching his demeanor change from bad to worse was jarring when we refused to buy their warranty and protection. Sending out the sales manager to double down on trying to sell you their warranty by using fear tactics was icing on the cake. If you want to spend a few extra thousand dollars on basically another form of insurance that's your call. That said, that's obviously where they make their money, so don't fall for the fear mongering by someone trying to pad their numbers and earn good boy points. Do your own research, and get a prepurchase inspection done by a third party mechanic you trust. Overall, our experience with Luis was pretty awful. When all was said and done, he didn't even shake our hands, make eye contact, or really even thank us for buying a car. It's a shame he visibly grew impatient with us and stopped caring when we didn't buy their protection, because it left a sour taste in our mouth in what should've been a happy day. I definitely cannot recommend this place. It's also worth noting that they tried to sell us an AWD car with two brand new tires and two completely bald tires. If you know anything about cars, you would know that having a tire tread difference with AWD will destroy your drivetrain. I noticed the tread difference and they "worked with us" to get 2 new tires on the car. It wasn't until almost a month after we bought the car that they FINALLY got the tires put on.
