His grooming skills are phenomenal and his prices are very reasonable. I would never go any place else for my dogs because I love and care about them- they are my family. I agree with Mika, the hair cuts the groomer would give our senior dog was never even (always…read morechoppy like Mike said), & when we talked to the groomer to explain things we wanted - like cleaning up the area under the tail and keep it short for cleanliness reasons; the hair in that area was also chopping like they used a scissors & not clippers so it would be smooth & comfortable for my pet. Our dog is in the Scottish breed and the breed is always groomed with long eyebrows standing straight out over the eyes. And a beard down the chin. When we took our pet in the next time we pointed these things out requesting no scissors cut but the more standard cut for the breed. When we came to pick up our pet she was completely shaven, body, legs, face, everything. We were appalled by the results and when we questioned the groomer about the cut she said (while she stood there with her arms folded and her hip sticking out in one direction and a condescending look on her face and said "I've been a groomer for ____ yrs and I know how to groom a dog". Well, missy, I beg to differ if this is the result. And she said we asked for something different each time and maybe we shouldn't come back. We had recently moved to this area & had our last groomer for 9 yrs. We wanted this place to be our new groomer and we took our pet in 6 times and our wishes were never followed so this was the last straw. We got our money back for that visit and never went back. Our last visit was a little more than a year ago but I'm writing this now because I saw PetSmarts new push for new clients. They probably need more clients because they drove the other ones away. Really poor attitude from the groomers - particularly the ones who have been there the longest. Final word - BEWARE

Even when he pancakes himself to the floor so he can't be moved, or is shaking like a puddle of goo, she is patient with him and gets him where he needs to go with kindness. I can't comment as to hair cuts as my dog is short haired, but his nails are cut right and grinded smooth. He appears to have been brushed. Only once did they forget to do his dew claws. He comes back from a bath, very clean, soft, and smelling wonderful. I would recommend them over Petco. I left Petco when my dog came back obviously injured in some way as we could not touch his hindquarters without him whimpering. Other posted comments on Petco also mentioned they felt their animals were probably being abused. While, I can't speak as to the other groomers at PetSmart as I have mainly only used Jade since I found her over a year ago, she is by far the best groomer I have ever had!

I had a hernia surgery done here on a puppy. Dog still has hernia that never healed properly and…read morelooks worse. I called for an ultrasound to check and see if my bitch was pregnant. Kelly at the front desk was delighted to tell me that we will have to wait a while to be able to see anything on an ultrasound knowing that her heat cycle ended a little before Christmas around the 23-24th. So she chose a date of the 16th and told me we would be able to see plenty well by then. Of corse only 3 weeks later the doctor could not get a proper reading on ultrasound to be able to tell. "To early of scheduling by Kelly." The doctor stated that I could come back next week for another look. Upon calling again Kelly would like to set me up another appointment and charge me for her said mistake that the doctor stated we could fix later on. I told her this was incorrect I already paid for the services and they couldn't be complete properly do to there negligence. I stopped by to see if I could get through to them more clearly and asked for the doctor to possibly take a glance at the dog and see if it was worth my time to get it looked at "pay another $200" seems it has grown another 3lbs in 2 weeks. Kelly knowing everything would not let me speak with the doctor and instead insisted that if I don't trust what the doctor said the first time I didn't need to be seeing that doctor. She then took it upon herself to remove my dogs from there system because of the verbiage I had used when speaking about the problems that were occurring with my dog. I would recommend these doctors if you can get past the keyboard Warrior Kelly in the front that tries to blame her negligence on untrust in your doctors. There is clearly a communication problem with the doctors and other staff members in this establishment. As far as more complex surgeries save it for someone else. I told them to remove a chipped tooth from my dog. The doctor and I both agreed that only 1 tooth needed extraction. Upon coming back for surgery they called me and said that after removing the first tooth the tooth next to it wiggled slightly. "Couldn't have been from ripping out the tooth next door" and insisted that it as well needed to be removed. I told them at all costs I would like them to try and leave the tooth there and let the gums heal but they are ultimately the as seen "professionals" so it was up to their discretion. I get my dog back of corse it has 2 teeth missing.... I think some people would rather take your money than see your dog healthy.

They knowingly sold me a puppy infected with Giardia, a serious intestinal parasite, and then had the audacity to act like I wouldn't figure it out. Newsflash -- you tried to fool the wrong person. The staff clearly think customers are naïve, but I did my homework. My vet confirmed the diagnosis and was appalled that a store would sell a sick puppy while lying about it. When I confronted them, they danced around it, blamed it on "adjustment diarrhea," and pointed to their little fake manual like that excused their dishonesty. Let's be clear -- lying about the cause of a puppy's diarrhea and covering up a Giardia infection isn't customer service, it's fraud. And you won't get away with it this time. Not only am I taking legal action, but I'm making sure every single person in this area knows exactly what you're doing. And next time, don't try to scam one of the area's most successful restaurateurs and entrepreneurs. You might be able to lie to someone else, but you're not going to lie to me. Before you even think about replying to this, Mr. Owner, know this -- I've already caught onto your games, your lies, and your unacceptable business practices.
