I had difficulty determining the cause of the problem. So I called and then visited a good man named Sean who is the manager at Ben's Japanese Auto Clinic. The problem was caused by a defective harmonic balancer pulley on the external end of the crankshaft that is connected to the serpentine belt. These sound like but are not parts for a rocket ship. They told me it was way under filled, the fluid was a dark black color. They told me whoever did the last service on my vehicle with the transmission underfilled it severely. The technician told me it's basically a waiting game to see if my transmission is going to have lots of issues or not. Now I am having a ton of transmission issues and I am needing a new one.
