She fell out of her bed in which the 2 women staying with her called family to let us know and not the staff. When my grandmother had a stroke she didn't receive adequate care either and I don't know the last time they bathed her! But what is very upsetting is recently the women in her room called us and we arrived to see my grandmother basically dying and no staff called us to tell us as we arrived she was extremely cold, feet turning black, fingers too and yes she was passing away but the nurse came in to get vitals and was extremely rude, basically ignored our questions and said I have things to do! My grandmother passed a few days later! We let everyone know there how we felt and the supervisor but I honestly don't know if it made a difference. If your going to work in a nursing home with elderly it's extremely hard at times but please be kind and go home or work somewhere else if your not happy. I would not recommend putting any one here

The staff are truly angels on Earth who treat you and your loved ones with the utmost love, care, dignity and respect. Immaculate, peaceful, serene.... In addition to the nurses, they have other resources who gently offer and are never pushy...i.e. music therapy, Chaplains, and a social worker. The most descriptive word I can use is compassionate.
