Avoid Bread Financial/Petland Financing - Predatory Interest Rates…read more I am writing this to warn others: Never, ever use the financing system at this location (Petland) to buy a pet, no matter how much you fall in love with the animal. The financial arrangement is nothing short of a scam. Say a puppy was priced at $6,000--already an insane amount--but the financing option makes it far worse. The Trap: They are using Bread Financial (often through Comenity Capital Bank) with interest rates ranging from 35% to nearly 40% APR. Example: Total Interest = $6000 × 36% × 5 (yrs) = $10,800.00 End Balance = $6000 + $10,800.00 = $16,800.00 IF YOU ONLY PAY THE MINIMUM IT WILL BE EVEN WORSE DO. NOT. DO. THIS!!!! This is predatory lending that tugs at your heartstrings to make you ignore the fine print. Employees make it sound like a great, manageable deal, but it is a horrible, exploitative scheme that preys on people who may not be able to afford these prices outright. These shops, often connected to puppy mills, should not be allowed to operate this way. It is a shame that they are making massive profits off the misery of both animals and consumers. Do not use their credit system.

The event happening here was the Bark-B-Q benefiting Rescue Ohio. For my dog this place was puppy heaven, she's wagging her tail in excitement about meeting all the dogs here for an event and the staff they were just very friendly and helpful. The staff helped me find Bella's pinch collar that the trainer outside recommended to us and it was really great because now Bella doesn't have the pressure that a choker puts on her neck when being outside. The trainer also helped me adjust it to Bella's size and it was just very nice to have someone there and that was knowledgeable helping me out that day! In addition, PetPeople also brought in Brown's Photography and they took pictures of Bella and they were just adorable. Bella had a very fun time and came home very tired! Thank you PetPeople for putting together a great event last weekend and also helping me find the best outdoor collar for my pup! We are happy customer's and will return in no time!

Within a few minutes, Bella was her usual self and let me wash her with barely any issues besides not liking the water spritzed on her face and body. I got her all washed and cleaned smelling better than ever. The associates didn't even mind the little droplets of paw prints she left behind from some leftover water from the rinse. I appreciated their warm and friendly demeanor towards myself and my dog. I will definitely be back in no time for their Halloween event for the pups! Her fur is much improved. I imagine she also feels more comfortable now as my daily brushing and sponge baths just weren't cutting it. I did forego the perfumes since dogs have a 50,000 times stronger sense of smell. I'm quite sure they don't like perfume. Looking forward to returning.

This has been great as my wife's work from home hours often extend beyond the open hours of Pet People it means that we can get the pet food or treats that we need without having to carve out time in our schedules to make a trip to Pet People. If the items you're purchasing are part of a 'buy x amount get x product' the Pet People staff include a rewards card. Tip: If you're outside of the delivery range for a store, Pet People is also offering curbside pickup of orders. (Another great way to mitigate possible exposure to COVID.)
