Despite my initial fear about potentially losing eyelashes, I'm happy to report that 4 years later I still have just as many natural lashes as I did when I started. She is patient and loves what she does. If you want to chit chat, she loves getting to know her clients. I have been seeing Becca since 2018 when she was at a different salon. I'd never been a "regular" with any stylist and just went wherever was open and convenient. That was until I had a stylist mix the wrong color and give me the darkest auburn hair when I asked her to match my ASH BLONDE (almost brown but I'm in denial) roots. I went to 3 other stylists that quoted me for extremely long and expensive options to try and bring back some sort of normal color. I spent maybe $700. Then I went to Becca on the recommendation of a woman in a local Facebook group (turned out to be Becca's mom) and THANK GOD. Becca looked at my hair and said "no one tried highlights?" And I just couldn't believe it could be that easy. I expected my hair to turn out something orangey and that I would need multiple round of highlights or to just shave my head and get it over with, but NOPE. I was halfway to my normal beachy blonde that same day. One more session after that and it was DONE. HIGHLIGHTS. ALL I NEEDED WAS HIGHLIGHTS. Anyway, yeah, Becca is like my comfort stylist that talks me out of giving myself bangs with kitchen junk drawer scissors - which I did anyway but she fixed them. I will probably just make the 9 hour drive every few months to visit her because it's absolutely worth it.

There were no visible layers added, and it is unclear if even an inch of hair was actually cut. The appointment felt rushed from the start. When I asked for the requested layers again, I was told there was no time to redo the cut because another client was waiting. This is not acceptable after an appointment has already started. Throughout the haircut, the stylist appeared uncertain and unsteady, which made the experience uncomfortable and unprofessional. I did not feel confident in the process at any point. I only stayed because I was with my 16-year-old and did not want to escalate the situation in front of her. Overall, I paid $80 for a service that was not delivered as requested. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience and would advise others to confirm expectations clearly before proceeding.
