    fresh house salad

Stopped in for lunch one afternoon while in town. A small eatery, with a small interior dining space with a large outdoor area. It was a nice sunny afternoon so we sat in the outside seating area table with and umbella, a friendly and kind staff. A concise menu, thats very navigable with traditional mediterrean and turkish dishes. Started with the fresh hummus and bread, it was very good and a solid start to our afternoon. The the lamb kebabs seemd in order for lunch, served off skewer in a cast iron skillet, it was good and rich flavors but the lamb was a little tough. Overcooked most likely. The side salad was fresh and well made. The entire staff and owners are kind and gracious, and took good care of us 3.5 Stars rounded up for the kind staff 01159

Cute Spot, Attentive Servers and Amazing Food!! I found this amazing Jim when I was traveling to Tucson. The bistro itself is very cute, airy and open. The waitresses are very attentive and quick. We were just two people but we ordered feast not realizing the quantity of the food. The house bread was amazing. The sampler platter everything was delicious. My favorite voice babaghanouj. We ordered the fish which was lacking some flavor but was deliciously smoky. The chicken kebabs were amazing so soft and melts in your mouth. The lamb Kota and chicken Kota were both very very delicious. The meat was the meatballs were tasting amazing and the veggies were char and slightly sour I think from tomatoes. Overall, this is amazing place to enjoy delicious dinner.

We had a sampler and we are taking home Lamuchan for dinner All I can say is excellent, excellent, excellent! Plus they now have some adult beverages. Check out their Happy Hour. Looks delightful. Too bad I do t live here any longer. I'd certainly visit more often

Recommendation: if money is of no consequence... then yes. We just moved here from Turkey a few years back so we're certainly apprised of the cuisines, flavors, styles and quality. This place does it very, very well. With several dishes, standard hot Turkish tea, it was a pleasant meal for the wife and I, all to expectations from the origin country! Presentation: The restaurant suffers however with decidedly minimal indoor seating, and the outdoor seating has an unrefinement to it including a lot of building/trash/surplus supplies off to the side of the main fence. The seating issue is the main problem and here in Tucson, you need more coverage, cooling etc.etc. and conversely, in the cooler days, there's limited heat. The inside dining is extremely compacted and very limited spacing. The Food: Extremely wonderful and on par with original Turkish cuisine, hands down. Lovely assortment of common dishes and the five or so various meals and deserts we sampled were stunning delicious. Unfortunately, this high quality meal, is certainly short on volume - for the price. Again, be mindful of the menu, it'll surprise you. Should you? Yes. Try it out. The customer service is also very note worthy. They are trying very hard and the quality and health of the food choices here are much better compared to the caloric and fat-laden food(s) of America.

The food was delicious, my favorite was the mushrooms and the soup of the day. Everything tasted fresh and well made. The service was good and the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and inviting. Overall a really nice spot to enjoy a meal, I would definitely come back.

Glad we stopped by for lunch after a morning in Madera Canyon - the food was delicious and filled us right up! We decided to try one of their pides and a wood fired entree to share. I've never had a pide before and really enjoyed it - it reminded me of a flatbread/open faced calzone. We ordered the spinach one which was filled with cheesy goodness in addition to spinach, bell peppers, and onions. For the wood fired entree, we had the chicken shish kabob which came with a side of rice and pita bread. The chicken was so juicy, tender, and flavorful. We dipped the homemade pita bread in the seasoned oil mixture that was in the shish kabob plate. The meal was filling, but we decided to order pistachio and walnut baklava to go because it sounded/looked so tempting. There were so many choices on the menu that we wanted to try so we will definitely back the next time we're in the area.

Same name. Completely different restaurant. Service was excellent. And the patio is beautiful. Would like to experience the live music and happy hour, however the food. I ordered the hummus. Huge portion. Came with a basket of bread- the problem the bread was literally raw dough in the middle. The first few bites I thought it was melted cheese because it was warm but then something was just off- totally raw dough. Bummer.

I am only giving you a one star review because it is ridiculous to deny a PAYING customer an item off your menu! All I wanted was a "pita" to enjoy the big sampler but I was told NO! Sorry, we only make a certain amount & can't "give" them to customers! First & foremost I was NOT asking to be given a pita bread, I was expecting to pay! Nonetheless, my first and last time! Which is really too bad, as your sampler platter was good. Not your server's fault as they were very nice about everything, but they don't need to apologize for an owner! p.s. This is all too bad, as the place is quite quaint!

Dad wanted to eat here, so we ordered take out. We got the chicken casserole; very greasy, and it was probably equivalent of one chicken thigh cut up in the dish. the arugula salad was wilted, but very delicious, and amazing vinaigrette!! I ordered the spinach pide with no cheese, and i really loved it!! I will say the portions are very skimpy for the prices, but tasted pretty good. I tried the hibiscus tea, and i loved that also!! the service was great, and very friendly!! Amazing aroma when i walked in with a wood burning oven which was super neat!! Sister said the baklava didn't taste authentic, so theres that.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Green Valley. The staff are warm and friendly, and the food is superior, both in terms of offering different choices and taste. I thought all of our dishes had amazing flavor. I highly recommend giving Brindis a try, especially if you have never tried Turkish offerings!

First time trying Turkish Mediterranean food, as any first timer with any new foods I was nervous to try something new, but! I was not disappointed at all, I left very satisfied. I recommend to give Brindis a try, Laurie the owner is very welcoming and helpful. If you are a first timer ask your server for recommendations or if you happen to se Laurie, as her as well!

We arrived at 12:30 and they were slammed. No available parking, so my daughter dropped me off (so sweet) and parked a couple doors down. The dining room was packed and noisy. The young man who greeted us said he'd have a table in ten minutes or we could sit in the air conditioned patio area. That's what we did. The patio was quiet and a large fan blowing over a trough of ice kept us cool and comfortable. We started with an appetizer of hummus, tzatziki, pita, and dolmades, with sliced cucumbers and tomatoes. The tzatziki was the best I've had. The sliced veggies were great so my celiac daughter could scoop the yummy spreads instead of pita. As lamb lovers, we ordered the lamb kabob plate and the lamb clay pot. The plate came with scrumptious rice, Greek salad, and sliced veg. The clay pot was filled with diced potatoes, tomatoes, and tender cubes of lamb, beautifully seasoned. So much delicious food! Our waiter offered dessert, but we were stuffed and settled for to-go boxes. I had an excellent lunch for two more days! As a big fan of Mediterranean food, I don't know how I could have missed Istanbul, but my first time surely won't be my last.

This place specializes in Turkish/Mediterranean food. There have various appetizers, pita sandwiches, entrees and dessert. I got the diner sandwich, which is pictured in the photo, pieces of beef & lamb mixed kebab sliced thinly served in a pita with red onion, lettuce, tomatoes and tzatziki sauce. It comes with your choice of Greek salad or fries. Their fries at crispy, not soggy. The meat was well seasoned and the spices the meat was seasoned with come through! It you want slices typical to kebabs or gyro sandwiches, get the Istanbul pita, which was what my husband got. Lots of seating for small and big groups! Service was decent, but not sure how it is on a really busy night. We came at lunch time, so about 8-9 tables and our server didn't check in on us much after we got our meal, which was out pretty quick after we ordered. We did have to wait and stop her to ask for more napkins and water but other than that, friendly staff. Would recommend checking this place out!

Their pita is really thin and not my favorite and the falafel, although fried well, is fairly bland for me/ not seasoned the way I prefer it. I ate here once for lunch as well as one time for a complimentary dinner meal they generously offered in a giveaway collaboration with Tucson Food Tours. The owner seemed kind. During the complimentary meal I shared the table with other people who got selected to participate and several of them have never had middle eastern food before.
