Continuing the alphabet series representing 2023 for B is Brio Coffeehouse. Fun fact: This is my 3rd Waynesboro Yelp review, tied for the most in PA with Philadelphia. I only visited once on April 26, 2023. I had work travel to Chambersburg and decided to take the scenic way back into MD. I stopped at Brio for a Brew. Staff was super friendly, and the coffee was excellent. The place is cute in a historic building in downtown Waynesboro. I parked in the front, but I realized there was a back lot without meters. I remember I didn't pay the meter, watched my car like a hawk while waiting for my coffee, and left. After I left, while in Waynesboro, I had to stop at the world famous Antietam Diary; see my 5-star review of them from June 2018. I also still get their emails to this day as I apparently signed up for their email or when I paid with credit card, it had my email info. Unfortunately, I haven't been back up this way since that nice April 2023 day to use the 10% off email or whatever promotion. read more

Brio is a mainstay of the Waynesboro community and their handcrafted caffeinated beverages keep the town going. The staff is friendly and seem to take pride in their work. I've never seen the place not looking tidy. The ample indoor and outdoor seating and outlets inside make it a great spot to meet friends, tackle some work, or just sit and enjoy some coffee and a pastry or sandwich. The coffee shop is in an old bank building with high ceilings, stylish tile, and old decorative glass windows, which adds to its charm. ..All this talk of coffee is making me want to get a cup so I'm going to wrap up this review and go grab an ice coffee. read more

Stopped here while in town to shop. There was some sort of fest going on down Main Street, but I needed a pick me up and to use the bathroom so we stumbled into here. Cool looking shop overall in what was a bank maybe or a pharmacy. Mosaic tile floor, big windows, and a clean atmosphere. Ordered an iced latte with pumpkin spice - the was asked if I wanted it hot. Hot iced latte? Ok. Got it cold. Lacked flavor to me but I'm not a coffee snob I just like lots of flavor and sweet. Liked it and would come back. read more

No seats available due to reservations. We needed a seat because my husband is disabled and walks with a cane due to loss of right side from a stroke. We sat outside at their table and chairs which had bird crap on half of the table and chairs. When we received our breakfast sandwiches mine was on my husbands requested muffin and his was on my requested croissant. read more

Whether you're stopping in for a quick cup of coffee to go or sitting down to get some work done, Brio is the place to do it. It is very refreshing to interact with a Waynesboro business that actually knows what customer service is. The Brio Coffeehouse is a delightful little coffee shop tucked in a corner near the center of town with minimal parking. A few months ago, all 3 parking spots were filled and the one only one available was the pick up parking spot. There was maybe 1 person in the Brio but no parking. I wanted to stop between two meetings and have a chi, but was told I really shouldn't take up their parking spot that was only for deliveries or pick up. So I left and they didn't get any business from me. A few weeks ago I gave it another try, again having a break between meetings. I was sitting on high bench looking out I guess I will call it a picture window. I was able to work on my computer while drinking a chi which was really good. read more

This establishment is new to our area, and at first I was excited about going there because I thought a cute coffeehouse would be a welcome new venue to visit. After going a couple times, I cannot understand the owner's choices of menu, Staff and decor. I mean, I get the minimalistic style but this place is too extreme, it's cold looking and feeling in the winter inside, the seats provided are uncomfortable hard stools, and the color scheme seems to be a mixture of varying tones of gray. There are virtually no adults in charge as far as I can see, with shaggy teens, seemingly more interested in giggling with friends or glued to their cellphones, running the place. The biggest disappointment of all: the coffee. Expensive, inconsistent, bland. Alas, I guess I will have to go elsewhere for my relaxing, cozy, delicious cup of coffee--sigh! read more

Myself and my boyfriend finally had time today to stop and check out the new coffee shop 'Brio'. The decor was simple, yet nice, and the staff was extremely friendly, offering suggestions and answering my questions . I ordered a salted caramel cappuccino and my better half got a frozen hot chocolate. We loved them! Only issue was mine was barely hot , luke warm at best, but still delicious . His hot chocolate was perfect. Can't wait to stop by again. Good job Brio and welcome to our town!!! read more

Visiting from out of town stopped by at 9am on a Wednesday. 2 staffers. The young woman who is making the coffees; looks around and says we'll be with you in a minute. No busy...couple outside and three people waiting on their orders. Five minutes later...the young man was washing out equipment. No signage directing you where to order; menu (it's 2 pieces of paper with plastic sheet protectors on the counter); no explanation of what the items are. Sparse selection of baked goods. Ordered a drip brew...12 oz (other offering to high priced for a first item to try)...from the young woman (young man is done washing and follows her around)...medium or dark roast? Selected dark. The young man gets the cup which is oddly placed in a cup dispenser at the register area. And he asks the woman if I want room for cream and sweetener. (Yes is the answer). She proceeds to take my payment...$2.26. Tells me that my order will be ready 5 feet at the corner of the counter where the sweeteners are (she got the creamer out of the fridge). He hands me the cup with lid on; opened it to add my creamer and sweetener. Had to ask him to empty some of the coffee for room for the cream since the cup was nearly full. Finished and went to my vehicle. (Parking isn't the best, had to pay .25 for the meter.) Coffee was mediocre....no flavor (dark roast), barely hot. Taste the creamer and sweetener more than coffee. Barely added a 1/4 inch of creamer. It's a pass on a return visit. (Side note: they're possibly hiring days...guy asked if they're hiring. The woman said probably but limited to days...since high school is starting up and they will not have help during the daytime). BTW...don't do as much advertising for your suppliers ...dairy and coffee....it's YOUR coffee shop not the dairy and coffee producers. read more

This is a wonderful business to have here in Waynesboro. I have been several times now, and each time they are more and more polished. They have a new menu board, new specialties all of the time and it keeps getting better! To the reviewer that gave it two stars and sounded pretty upset about paper menus- it was their first week open and during their soft open phase. Give them time and let them grow. read more

The drinks that I've had so far have been pretty great. Their fall drinks, especially the Butter Beer Latte, are delicious! Drinks are always nice and hot. Staff is always very friendly and attentive. My only "complaint" would be that the prices of the muffins, scones, etc are a little high. It is great to finally have a coffee shop here in Waynesboro. I'm very hopeful that they are successful and stick around! read more
