Usually meaderies use a lot of juice to save money on the honey, but not this place. If you tilt their bottles, it takes TIME for that mead to shift. That's how you know it's more honey than juice. The owner is what made this place special, teaching us about the aging process and even let us try some juice from grapes that had just been harvested. After learning on certain nights they have a live band and with a catered dinner, I am definitely making it a point to return to this hidden gem.
