My mom and I came here, as it's one of our favorite spots but we found out they'll be closing in January. We came here for dinner on a Saturday night and got seated right away. I love their outdoor seating and they have a lot of indoor seating. It is a nicer restaurant located in Waterside Shops. Great place for date night too. We went on one of the busiest shopping days of the year, and had a great experience. We had a reservation for 3 at 4 PM. Arrived early and were seated, no problem. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The venue was not too busy but we could tell that staffing was light.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The table next to us was left with dirty dishes the entire time we sat waiting for our server. After 30 minutes of no contact, we observed another table getting seated and their server arrived within minutes. As we were getting ready to leave, a staff member realized we were getting restless and came over with empty glasses and set the down on the table while saying he would be right back. He left. We waited a bit and then continued our exit. The manager followed us out, asking us to stay but we were done that point. Service and communication are key. The hostess could have let us know that they were short staffed. The fact that the table that came in 25 minutes after us had the staff's attention almost immediately sealed the deal for us. If the meal gets off to a rocky start the odds of improvement throughout the event are slim in my opinion. This was a 40th anniversary dinner so no room for error, guys. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We had high expectations for Brio Italian Grille given the location and beautiful ambiance--but the experience fell well short.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We arrived on time for a 6:45 reservation and waited nearly 20 minutes while watching multiple parties (including walk-ins) get seated ahead of us. When I asked the hostess, a table suddenly became available--no apology, just attitude. Service didn't improve from there. It took 30 minutes for the manager (Ceasar) to come over after we requested him, and he was completely dismissive. A poorly made margarita that was sent back still showed up on the bill. The most concerning part was the wine. We ordered Caymus by the bottle, were told a confusing story about it only being available by the glass, and ultimately discovered they don't actually serve the Caymus listed--just a lower-tier version presented as such. Food was underwhelming for the price. My rack of lamb and my wife's filet were both underseasoned and mediocre. The only standout was the lasagna, which was excellent--and ironically the least expensive dish we ordered. For the price point and Naples dining scene, this was a disappointing experience. Plenty of better options nearby--we won't be back. read more

Ugh, what a night! We had a reservation for four, we selected Brio because Waterside Shops is decorated so beautifully for the holidays and we wanted to enjoy the lights. We were seated in a booth as requested. The restaurant was not crowded at all, plenty of open tables everywhere, ten in our section alone. Our server came over and offered water and bread, we said yes and then she disappeared for 15 minutes. She finally returns to take our dinner order with the water and bread. I asked if I could substitute out one of my sides and her response was 'no the kitchen is too busy', I said excuse me? I would like to just double up on potatoes and remove the broccolini. Oh I can ask....are you kidding me? The food finally arrives and 3 of the 4 entrees show up, a plain salad is dropped in front of my husband. He states I ordered pasta, oh yes that's right, I picked up the wrong dish! Prices are sky high for industrial style food, no side salad offered either entrees that are in the $30 range. There are plenty of mom and pop Italian places in the area to visit. We will not be back. read more

This was a huge disappointment. It was recommended by my sister who joined us. Our food was cold including our soup which arrived with a layer of dried "skin" on it. My sisters potatoes were cold. My salad had been prepared way in advance and was discolored and wilted. Some of our order never arrived and had to be removed from our bill. It is not cheap. read more

Myself and my friend came to Brio tonight to have a few cocktails and dinner for happy hour. Casey was our bartender, so pleasant and informative! We ordered, I had an old fashioned which is on the $8 happy hour menu, it's supposed to be served with black cherries. It came with maraschino cherries. My friend ordered the Brio martini, was to be served with blue cheese olives it came with pimento stuffed olives. Casey explained it was corporate cut backs. Clearly on the menu both drinks are listed with the blue cheese olives and Italian cherries. Anthony, the manager,delivered our food, we ordered shrimp and eggplant, flat bread and tomato and mozzarella. When he delivered it he wondered out loud if there were 3 people eating the food. We explained to him that he shouldn't body shame people and we were gifted a tiramisu. Which was delicious Casey was the absolute star of the night. Exceptional service! read more

I do love the food options at Brio but when I was eating more plant based I did find it hard to find options that did not contain animal product. I do feel that the outside patio is the place to be during cool afternoons, they have a great happy hour but the inside to me feels a little outdated. The last time I had lunch there, I did notice that the service was slow and while the staff was super nice, it took about 30 min for our food to come out and at that point I had to rush to eat it. We frequent this restaurant often but I have to say that Sunday's linch (6/29) lunch was WELL below par for this restaurant. We were seated promptly and received our drinks and ordered. From there, service was very, very slow. We waited over 30 minutes for our undersized salad and another 30 minutes for our two pasta entrees. The food was hot and typical for this place. Our server approached my wife and said that the restaurant was offering our meal as a complement and apologized for the delays. Shortly afterwards he brought a scoop of ice cream also complemented. Suddenly, he presented a bill for our meal where he had only complemented our two ice teas and the scoop of ice cream we never requested. The prices have increased since our last visit and things have caused the prompt service to deteriorate. Very disappointed! read more

I ate here for a late lunch on a Sunday. Got a high top table out on their terrace. Bartender came over to take my drink order and after he brought my drink, did not see him again until later, but another guy came to take my order. He recommended the crispy lobster ravioli, which ended up being good but not crispy at all like the name implied and was actually quite soggy. The sauce was good, but there was hardly any lobster. I got the lamb chops for my main, I explained to the waiter that I didn't want it to be too pink or bloody and he said medium would be good. Wrong! I should have ignored him and asked for medium well. I had to wait 10 minutes to catch anyone's attention to send them back to be cooked more. It was still a bit too pink but I was hungry so I just ate them. The outside was a bit too charred, which left a weird taste in my mouth. And it was so heavily seasoned with garlic that it also left a weird aftertaste. I've had a lot of lamb chops, none that heavily garlicky. Not worth it for $37, I should've ordered the lamb chop appetizer instead. There was hardly any meat, mostly fat. The asparagus was fine, but the potatoes were so incredibly salty and dried out, it was like trying to eat potato jerky - tough and dry - inedible. Service was a bit confusing as I had no idea who my waiter was - the bartender or the guy who took my order. The bartender was nice and sweet and tried to be attentive, but he was overwhelmed at the bar. The other guy came back after I got my lamb chops to tell me his shift was over and someone else would be taking care of me, and proceeded to fist bump me, which I thought was inappropriate for a server. My drink (strawberry limonata) was sickeningly sweet and had an off taste to it. I barely took a few sips of it. I didn't have to heart to send it back. I still tipped nicely and hope it went to the bartender. This place seems to be a hit with locals, so not sure if I ordered wrong or came at a bad time, but I'd be willing to give them another shot. read more

This restaurant has a wonderful location, and sitting at the bar in the semi-outdoors feels like you're on vacation. I've been a couple of times and will likely go back just for the vibe. Unfortunately, the food has been less than great, in my opinion. Both times I ordered from the restaurant's brunch menu... I tried the scrambled eggs with tuscan sausage, which was tasty, but didn't have the spinach or cheese as advertised. Next time I had avocado toast with poached eggs, and this is the dish that probably earned the 3-stars instead of 4! Bottom line for me on brunch items is that if you're going to make eggs, you gotta make them correctly! I don't know anyone... literally ANYONE... who likes runny whites in their eggs. So if you're a chef, and you see runny whites as your plating, in my humble opinion, you should remove them and start over. It's really unacceptable to have undercooked eggs... just don't put them on the menu if you can't make them correctly. The menu also said there would be "crispy pancetta" on the plate, which there was not. Instead, there was pancetta under the eggs and avocado... not crispy, but quite the opposite. The staff has been great, in my opinion, and that's a huge plus. But in my book you get only 3 stars (or less) if you set customer expectations and underdeliver. read more
