In SLC City and was taken to Brio for team dinner. This place was very nice. The menu has alot of options but nothing overwhelming. I truly enjoyed the bruschetta sampler and the bolognese. Good service as well.

Blackened Grilled Salmon Fresca* my fave!

The last couple times I've ate here I've had to send my food back. Highly disappointed at how downhill this restaurant has become. I used to frequent here with my kiddo. Even she won't eat here again. No seasoning whatsoever on anything we order from steak to chicken Alfredo. Salmon was like rubber and the chicken dry. The steak had to be smothered in sauce which is offensive in itself. I won't be coming here for a long while. I just can't believe it.

This meal was disappointing, which was frustrating because I had high expectations. I ordered the gluten free filet mignon and asked to substitute mashed potatoes for the fingerlings. I wasn't told they were out of mashed potatoes until my meal arrived, at which point the fingerlings were served instead. The fingerlings tasted burned, and the filet itself was also disappointing. The top had a strong burned flavor, and it wasn't enjoyable. For a $52.99 dish, especially with a very small portion size, this was frustrating. I want to be very clear that this was not the fault of our waitress, Ashley. She was kind, attentive, and clearly doing her best on what was obviously a very difficult day. The restaurant was out of a long list of items due to a shipment issue, and it seemed like the kitchen was struggling overall. I didn't send the food back because it was clear the staff was already under a lot of pressure, but the experience itself was still disappointing. I understand that supply issues happen, but when they affect food quality and communication, it does impact the overall dining experience. The ambiance was nice, but the food is what mattered here Ashley handled a tough situation with professionalism, and I really appreciated her effort. I'm not sure if I would return.

The environment is super relaxing, the waiters are super attentive and the food portion is excellent!

Busy place - they will not seat you without the whole party there which was a little frustrating because their lobby area is not huge. Food took a very long time. Reservation was for 6pm - the hotel is 10 minutes away. We got back at 910pm - not because we were having this amazing time - because everything took a long time. Now to the important stuff - food was delicious. I had the Chicken Caprese. Everyone loved their food. I should have taken a picture of my husband's dinner - the presentation was beautiful. It was the Spicy Sausages Carbonara. He used the word "fantastic"

Spaghetti Bolognese, Lasagna and a side of Asparagus

We had lots of this me to relax on a Sunday afternoon before flying out. We ate inside because there was not much shade on the patio. The dining room is beautifully decorated and absorbs the friendly chatter from neighboring tables well. We had lasagna and spaghetti with a side of asparagus. The portions were huge and everything very tasty.

Went 2.5 hrs before close, seemed pretty empty but still had to wait 15 mins for a table- it was just me Hostess was kind but not too enthusiastic to be there Dining room was quiet, & bussers were constantly flipping the used tables. besides all the trash on the floor, dining room seemed pretty well put. server was super duper nice, just a little slower on the service side. It was just me- she took my complete order before brining my beverage, forgot a few things, but was told it was a rough night so I understand. She was super sweet, I still tipped 30% I just can't lie on reviews, I'm hoping they read their reviews as insight & change for the better. I'm sure it as just an off night for her. What I will say is- the food was actually GREAT. Wedge salad was huge, + their bread service was nice & warm! Ordered the shrimp & mushroom risotto & I gotta say it was GOOD!!! If I happen to be back in town, I'd go back !

This is the place what makes Utahn's don't know anything about good eats. It's awful how they can call themselves an Italian cuisine we went with my company to have dinner, I'm not kidding we wait 1:38 for a food to be served. My pasta; look like was cooked by a 5 year old (más and cheese type of overcooked) the "fresh hand made lemonade, with a rim of sugar?) nasty. The only good thing they offer jajjja 4 free desert; for a party of 10. How ever to be fair; They took $165 off of our $400 ti

Maybe I don't understand Italian food, but my meal cost $70 with up, after a $30 coupon. The food wasn't bad, not was the service. But I can't say that the price justifies the quality or quantity of food. $20 for a plate of pasta that isn't outstanding is just bonkers to me. The chicken tenders and fries were really the only thing I'd get again. Maybe I don't get it, but if I were you, head next door to cheesecake factory. At least you'll get your money's worth there.

Wonderful meal with my team. We had decent service (a couple of things were mixed up but an easy fix). Our food was great! The restaurant has a great atmosphere, easy to host a group and spend time.

Spaghetti bolognese

Dining at Brio Italian Restaurant in Salt Lake City is a feast for the senses--and a small workout for your taste buds. The chicken piccata, a zesty blend of lemon slices, capers, and buttery sauce, tenderly rests alongside mashed potatoes and vibrant broccoli. It's a delightful medley of tang and comfort, perfect for those days when you crave something indulgent yet fresh. Meanwhile, the spaghetti Bolognese delivers classic vibes with its hearty tomato sauce generously clinging to al dente pasta. It's the Italian grandmother's hug you never knew you needed, but with a hint of finesse that feels right at home in an upscale trattoria. While the dishes are generous in flavor and portion, the ambiance adds to the charm--refined but unpretentious, inviting you to linger over another sip of wine or just bask in the afterglow of a well-prepared meal. Brio is where classic Italian fare meets modern indulgence. Don't expect culinary gymnastics; instead, expect comfort, quality, and a lemon wedge or two stealing the show.

Side salad (+$7), shrimp and scallop (the baby ones) and complementary processed bread (I didn't care)

We were gifted gift cards for Brio. I feel very neutral about this restaurant and experience! Was the food good, sure. Was the service good, sure. Would I go back; nah, one and done is good for me. This chain is a little fancier than Olive Garden but I enjoy the bread and salad at Olive Garden more than Brio (if we're going to compare (and comparing is what Yelp is about)). One great thing is they offer 2 hour parking in the garage for free, so if you chose to dine at this location in the mall, use the mail underground parking.

I have dined here many times over the past five years. This is a beautiful place to dine solo or host a luncheon with friends or business colleagues. The staff are very professional and attentive. The entrées are presented well. The food is fresh and tastes delicious. I am always pleased with the wonderful dining experience I have had consistently whether dining indoors or on the patio, as well as, each visit being very reasonably priced. Today's experience only cost $60 -- it should have cost $100.

At $29 with the steak, they're definitely on the pricier side, but the portion size helps justify the cost. The serving is massive--I could easily see two or even three people sharing it as a meal. By the time I finished, it honestly looked like I had barely made a dent in it. The steak was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, and every bite was loaded with toppings. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I stopped by during an off-peak time, so it wasn't very busy, which made for a relaxed experience. One thing that really stood out was their Guinness. As someone who appreciates a proper pour, I have to give them credit--they know exactly what they're doing. Too many places rush it, but here you can tell they take pride in serving it the right way. Their drink selection is also extensive. Whether you're a beer fan or looking to try a unique cocktail, there's no shortage of great options. I'd definitely come back, especially with a group to help tackle those nachos!

The food was good, we had the potato empanada and the wagyu skewers. Both were tasty and prepared well. There was live music that was really good and we enjoyed the people they had booked. There is a cool speak easy down stairs and a dance floor upstairs (we didn't see that). Overall, the place is really cool. I will concur that our minimal encounter with staff was less that stellar. Not sure why there were all the security guys mean mugging ayerone. Recommend this place for a drink and some grub.

Good drinks! Good vibe!…read more Stopped here for drinks on a Saturday night and the place was popping! We had a group of five and we were lucky to score some stool/bar seating right up front. The prices were very reasonable! Drafts were $7 and some cocktails were $11. The bartenders were super friendly and polite and talented! I really enjoyed watching them prepare five drinks at once without loosing a beat! The music was also great! They were rocking early 2000s jams. I ordered their penecilin cocktail which had ginger, honey, coconut and lemon with whiskey and it was delicious!! Everyone else enjoyed their drinks and we had a great time!

In full transparency it has been 2-3 years since my first and last visit to Water Witch. I noticed this in my drafts and thought I should complete my review. That said, I think I hyped this place up in my head too much before my visit because of the James Beard nod. So when it didn't quite hit the mark for me, I was disappointed. It's quite an intimate bar. By that I mean small space inside. The main bar has seating of course and there are a few seating areas directly behind the barstool area. There is a small walkway that separates the bar and the seating area. So the seating area is looking straight forward at the bartenders and the backs of people on barstools. I felt like the people behind me were staring into my soul lol, but that's a me problem ha. It's a modern design and beautifully decorated. I had two drinks. One from the menu and one that I told the bartender what I liked and disliked. He then made a drink based upon my taste. In my opinion it tasted similar to the one from the menu, which was disappointing because I was hoping for something different. There was one bartender that evening and one bar back, so even with the few people at the bar (I'd say 6-7 including me and a guest) and the 4 people seated behind us. It took some time to get his attention and order a drink. Which is part of the reason I only had two drinks. I would probably give this place another try since it's been some time since I've been there. As I always like to say. Stop in and judge for yourself.
