Located in the Peery Hotel building, we had breakfast here when we stayed at the hotel. The menu is really expansive with lots of options. I had a breakfast chorizo bowl. My coworker and I both left full and happy. Decor is bright and cheery, and the service was friendly. My only complaint was that when the server (who brought the food but did not take order) brought my food, she hit my glass of orange juice and sloshed a fair amount onto the table. This wasn't a big deal. Accidents happen. The problem was that she ignored it. I eventually had to ask the waitress for extra napkins to clean up the mess. After the spill, a top off would have also been appreciated. Further, it would be nice if the restaurant and Peery Hotel could work out a discount for hotel guests. All in all, it's a good restaurant. I'd go back.

What is it with UT?!? So I wander into this cute little breakfast spot and want to eat at the counter , for breakfast mind you. The barista( not bartender) asks to scan my ID ?!? How weird is that?!? Anyway cute place , the restaurant chairs are a nightmare , the food was ok. ( in their defense ) I walked in right behind a party of 20 ( yup I said that at 7 am!!!) so I am fairly certain my food was lost in the shuffle . Anyway my server (Tita) was sweet and did her level best ( my expectations are low) the place is clean and worth a look . I feel like my experience was a "one off"

We returned to Eggsburgh following an event downtown. Things felt a bit different with both service and food - hoping it was just an off day.

It took a little while to be seated on a Saturday morning, which is expected. Not too expensive menu with lots of good options. Pancakes did leave a lot to be desired though they were presented nicely. Salmon Benedict was flavorful. Potatoes and eggs like seasoning, but would be willing to try again other menu items.

Eggsburgh delivers on its promise. The restaurant is bright, airy, and modern. This morning's hostess and waitress were friendly and cheerful. The menu offered a wide selection of breakfast dishes. I interpret this as a promise: I'm about to get a good breakfast, with good coffee and friendly service. That's exactly what I got. I ordered an egg white omelette, with hash browns and a side of fruit. The presentation was fine, the food and coffee were good, and my waitress kept my coffee topped up. In short, I'm a satisfied customer. Eggsburgh met my expectations. Note: This photo may seem weirdly cropped. I avoid taking photos with people in them if I don't have their consent. There was a decent crowd in the restaurant this morning. This is the only angle I could get without anyone in it.

Pardon the pun, but Eggsburgh is EGGS- ceptional. The food and the service are top-notch, and this will become a breakfast and brunch staple whenever I'm visiting SLC (which I would have known about it when I lived here)! First of all, the "Mix and Match" pancake and waffle flight is a genius option -- choose any three pancake or french toast options from the specialty menu -- we got the strawberry pancake, Danish blueberry pancake, and banana crunch french toast, and they were all terrific! The 2x2x2 meal with eggs, bacon, potatoes, and fresh fruit was also quite tasty! Additionally, the service was fast and attentive. We got our food within 10 minutes of ordering, and our server checked in multiple times throughout to ensure we were enjoying our food. Overall a 10/10 experience, and will happily return again!

Cute breakfast place inside the Peery hotel in downtown SLC. Perfect place to get your egg and pancake fix in the morning. They're open till 3 and also have great lunch options. Will definitely be back

A decent spot for breakfast, but it didn't quite wow me. The food is solid and the menu has some fun options, but nothing really stood out as exceptional. Portions were good, and the flavors were okay, just a bit inconsistent. Service was friendly enough, though a little slow at times. It's a fine place to grab breakfast if you're nearby, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Solid menu, really good service and good food! I've come here two days in a row while staying at the Peery and I'm happy to go back tomorrow. Food came out really fast and tasted great!

If you're looking for a place to grab a bite to eat, I would definitely suggest stopping by and giving this place a try! After looking at the menu online and seeing the variety I knew I needed to see for myself and I was not disappointed. We had the sweetest server by the name of Alejandro who was very attentive and friendly. Now for the food, I got the lean and green along with an iced coffee which was so good! I honestly wish I had been able to eat everything but it just means I will have to come by again to try other things on the menu.

Second time is a charm. Had the omelet last time and it was overcooked. The 2x2x2 was excellent. Customer services great.

I've tried their Creme Brulee French Toast, biscuits and gravy, avocado toast, and today I tried their Perfect Omelette, but unfortunately all of them have been quite subpar. Unfortunately today was probably our worst experience. I ordered the Perfect Omelette because I saw it had avocado, but when I got it there was no avocado to be seen! Turns out they had run out but didn't tell me when I ordered, which honestly would have made me change my mind. The omelette tasted pretty bland to me, so I had to use plenty of ketchup and Cholula to help. I also usually like their brunch potatoes, but today they seemed less cooked and not as crispy. My bf enjoyed his Eggs Benedict per usual, but agreed the potatoes were worse than normal. Our server, who in the past has usually been quite attentive, was very slow and not attentive at all. He only checked on us to take our order (after we had been seated for at least 10 minutes), and then gave us our check at the end. A different person seemed to be helping him out by giving us water and serving us our food, which we appreciated, but nobody checked on us to see how we liked our meal. We saw people seated in other sections with different servers get seated after but attended to before us, which was a bit frustrating. We wondered if it was because our spot at the window bar seemed to be far from our server's other tables. We kept feeling like we'd been forgotten! Ambiance is very cute, modern, and IG-worthy. For me the food isn't great, but I'll keep working my way down the menu in an effort to find something I like since I know we'll be back for the Eggs Benedict haha. I think I'll try the pancakes next or I guess give the French toast another shot. If those don't work out, I might resort to just their orange juice (which is great because it's freshly squeezed, but unfortunately also room temperature as a result) and something a la carte. I'm giving them a 3/5 overall because service is usually better and because my bf still thinks they have the best EB in the county. But honestly I've never been somewhere where I've tried so many dishes and not liked any of them enough to order again. I also think their prices are high and keep inching up. $16 for their avocado toast is actually absurd! And I find it surprising that for a brunch place, they don't serve lattes/espresso. Hopefully your experience will be better than mine. I've attached all of the photos I've taken here, and you can almost tell how their quality has shifted. I hope they ultimately get better, not worse!

Well, I must have loved it since I went twice!! First day tried the BLT as well as a chocolate croissant which is to seriously die for, it is a must. Kiaya (lord I hope that is right) was my server and she was excellent. I had a Pellegrino Blood Orange soda along with my lunch and loved the salad dressing as well! The sandwich was with 1/2 salad and 1/2 potatoes, yum yum. The second time, I had Connor (he will remember Sheldon) who served me. He was awesome. I tried out a blueberry mimosa, an iced mocha and a water (I had been walking a lot and was tired and thirsty, don't judge). Then I just wanted that dang BLT again! I also ordered another almond chocolate croissant (I know, I know, should have tried something else). Well I did get a cookie too! My lunch was taking a little long, so they also brought out a couple of pastry items to try as well, so yum yum! The Chocolate Macaroon was also so wonderful and I cannot say enough about this quaint spot. It did fill up during lunch on the Thursday, so get there early or late! PROS: Main street, easy access from transportation/offices Great selection of homemade pastries Nice choices for drinks (obviously, I tried a few) Super quaint bistro style inside Outside seating under shade and a tree Attentive and exceptional employees (CONNOR) CONS: Parking may be an issue, although some on-street parking available DON'T THINK, JUST GO! The Quiche Lorraine, Tomato Croque, and Pesto Chicken Sandwich were all hearty, flavorful, and filling. But the cinnamon bun--highly recommended by our server--stole the show. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and exactly the right amount of present (if you know what I mean). I enjoyed the maitake on rice with cashew cream and it was delicious. The salty mushrooms were mellowed by the chewy rice. The cashew cream gave a nice variation in texture. I didn't leave a morsel behind. The harissa carrots were nice as well. They are cooked soft and have a moderate spice level that is again contrasted by the mild labneh and tahini base. I had to save the rolls with herb better for last. Oh. My. God. These were divine. I'm a sucker for bread of any kind but these are what the Hawaiian dinner rolls wish they could be. They are perfectly pillowy and the herb butter just elevates them. Do not miss these for more "sophisticated" fare. If I lived here, I would definitely come back. Everything was considered and well-executed. Bravo

Someone also mentioned the wait is long. The restaurant isn't huge, and if you go at a time when everyone else is also going, usually any time after 9, then of course it'll be busy. Go early and it'll be faster, but either way, the wait is completely worth it. Thank you, to the Our Kitchen Cafe family for being so kind to me and my family.
