This is the newly opened coffee spot in Freeport. They are in the building known as MADE (which stands for makers, artists, designers, & entrepreneurs) that had many different creations beyond the coffee shop. Firstly from the outside you see a huge beautiful patio that is great for warm weather. Once you step inside the front door the spot you pick up your orders from. Vibe wise and set up wise for the inside seating is just about the perfect setup for a comfortable coffee shop. Besides some tables they got plenty of couches and comfy chair alternatives to enjoy your drinks or food at. They also had some festive fall decor with pumpkins throughout the seating area. They have a huge menu board that I think every coffee lover will find that drink they want. All your typical style drinks, then plenty of special lattes and teas as well as energy drinks and more. Also they had 6 different fall specials. This was the first board my wife and I encountered and decided to try some of those. My wife decided on the Moosehead Matcha (peach and maple syrup) and I got the Vaughn Woods Latte (hazelnut, honey, and cardamom). My wife thought her drink was decent but a little odd flavor wise. My drink was tasty and well made but flavor was nothing mind blowing enough to want the exact drink again. Like I said their menu has a ton of offerings so I could return many times for a new drink. Food wise they had a decent offerings of baked goods. My wife and I were looking for something quick and settled on a pumpkin muffin and blueberry muffin. Both were tasty and a great bite to pair with our drinks. Despite our drinks not being our favorites I am giving the five star rating due to well priced drinks with a huge menu in a great coffee shop meets a makers market! Great concept and my wife and I enjoyed stopping in to check it out as our start to the morning.

First, We're locals, not tourists. We've been repeat…read morecustomers for years. No stars given. After 1hr and 45 minutes of waiting for our food, promises that the food is coming from the poor waitress, no food. The restaurant was emptying out. Mind you, this is for two plates of scrambled eggs, toast and home fries. This was the attitude directly from the owner to the waitress. The owner could have cared less. The worst treatment I've ever experienced from a breakfast joint. I'll never go again and would advise people to not go as well. 0 out of 10 rating. The waitress was apologetic and frankly embarrassed by the owner's attitude.

I will say they appear to have their baked goods as well as many different food options like sandwiches but my review is strictly for the coffee. Once you enter to the right is all the different seating with a good variety of tables and chairs but also some more comfy choices like couches. Quite a large space inside and a handful of tables outside to enjoy the nice weather. You order at the counter and then they have a spot further down where they'll call out your name for both food and drinks. They had a section on the menu called the MET Artistic Lattes which was their version of specialty flavored lattes. This caught our eyes. My wife went with the Falcon Pride (chocolate & white chocolate latte) and I went with the Vanilla Bean Dream (white chocolate & vanilla). Drink wise they were both pretty good! Didn't become a new favorite coffee spot but good enough we would return if we found ourselves in the area looking for coffee again. To have a real strong opinion I would need to return and try some of the food rather than just the coffee.

So I do have to wait a few minutes longer, but it's typically worth it for a fresh burger. One time I was presented with the bag and didn't bother look inside, only to find out later that it didn't include the fries that I had paid for with the meal. Meal. I was super disappointed but felt helpless by the time I got to the nursing home. As a result, I definitely check the bag every time it's handed to me now. I recently ordered an iced coffee with half the amount of caramel flavoring and a small amount of cream, which is tough to get right, and whoever made it aced the test. The iced coffee was phenomenal and I'm still mentioning how good it was today because I avoid getting iced coffee everywhere I Go because it won't be made to my satisfaction. Whoever was working at this McDonald's that day made the iced coffee so well and I am so thankful for them, but I also don't necessarily trust getting one that perfect again. One of the times I visited, picking up my dad's order, I went inside. Inside I couldn't even find the exact quarter pounder that I order on the drive-thru menu on the self-serve menu. As a result, I got my dad the wrong version of a quarter pounder that had lettuce and was just as messy as a Big Mac and he was not impressed. I literally could not find the basic quarter pound of cheese on this self-serve menu and was not about to flag down an employee to figure it out for me so I went with it. As a result, I'm not going to go inside again. I should learn to order on the app in advance for pickup but I'm not quite there yet. This is probably one of the more fancy McDonald's out there like because the building is a house. The parking lot is a little confusing but all in all good people work there and I have had good enough experiences that I will keep going back.

I didn't see any special menu items, but I heard during seasonal time they offer a lobster roll sandwich. I guess that's Main's version of the McRib. The place is very clean inside and outside. There's plenty of parking and a really nice outdoor seating area. It's also located within walking distance of a lot of nice shops in Freeport. It has a drive-thru as well. Other than the way it looks and the location it's just a McDonald's.
