A few people were already sitting there. Other than that, it's an open space where you stand to wait. There's no space to sit outside either - this is NOT their fault as the sidewalk is currently torn up, and maybe tables will be available. I certainly hope so. I ordered a pumpkin latte with almond milk. It was a strange, grainy consistency and I couldn't put my finger on the flavor - it wasn't like any pumpkin spice I've ever had. Located on the main drag called Maine St in Brunswick, it was a cozy, welcoming space. I decided on their Earthworm latte--a delicious sweet treat featuring Oreo crumbs. I sat at the bar facing Maine st, watching the midweek traffic pass by and leisurely enjoying my coffee. It looked like a very mom- and kid-friendly space, which made sense after learning that it was a woman-owned business. A bulletin board by the front door had a bunch of flyers tacked on to it, and it seemed like a popular neighborhood hub. A cool small business worth supporting.

A maple glaze completed this masterpiece. They didn't forget the chocolate lovers. A very dark enormous brownie called to me but reluctantly I passed. Maybe tomorrow. It annoys me when bakeries don't have any chocolate offerings. From the hand pie selection I chose a Carrot, Leek, and Goat Cheese for later. Also outstanding. The crust was flaky, not dry, subtly buttery, and just the right thickness for the filling which was generous. (It made it all the way to the edges, which many hand pies do not.) Decorated with thyme leaves. The filling was sweet, which I thought was just from the caramelized leeks but I read on the wrapper that sugar is also an ingredient. Just the right amount. The carrots were "rainbow", in several colors, and very pretty. Pretty expensive at $8 but for the size and quality I'm glad I got it. The place is very small but looks like a comfortable place to hang out. A few small tables, walls decorated with painted flowers and vines. The counter people were nice and thanked me for coming in. Customers were mostly engrossed in conversations, not absorbed into their devices. Even though it was just a quick stop for take-out I enjoyed my visit.

The wait wasn't long and the staff was already cracking jokes and very pleasant. If it's any indication of how much the customers love this place, in line I listened as a regular was offering to bring by his own soil tiller for a barista. Got a Reuben at 7:00 in the morning and it was delightful. Very specifically, the bread was buttered and toasted perfectly and it was a great portion! The chai was also nice, very well balanced. The ambiance of the coffee shop is lovely, bright, light, some nice music, the lounge is a nice spot as well! Overall, this was a delightful start to my day, I will be back soon!

We ordered two turkey sandwiches and a tuna salad on a bagel, so nothing cooked, besides the toasted bread. While waiting about 25-30mins for our food, it got really hot inside. I looked up at the built in fans/vents in the ceiling and noticed they were filthy. I was afraid if I had asked for air to be turned on, that dust would have shot onto people's food! There was also a situation where the man behind the register needed a choice made by an elderly customer that had already taken a seat. She shouted out the answer to his question and he responded rather loud and rudely for her to "Next time come to the counter! I don't like yelling across the room!" (Or something to that extent) Whatever it was, it seemed really aggressive and unprofessional, not to mention disrespectful. The sandwiches were good, had fresh ingredients, but I'm not sure this place was throwing the right vibes for me to revisit.

Firstly, they had about 10 or 12 specials for the month compared to most spots having usually 5 at most. So many of them sounded good with some highlights being Birthday Cake Latte, Blueberry Pancake Latte, Strawberry Shortcake Latte, Blueberry Chai, & Coconut Matcha. A special for everyone's taste/preference. Mentioned in their about section of the website they were looking to create not only a place to grab a coffee but a place to gather. I would say as first time visitors it appeared they accomplished that goal. They created a welcoming and overall great atmosphere that would be such a nice spot to swing in to catch up with friends or bring the family for drinks and baked goods. Which based on signage they create all the baked goods in house and looked like they had a great variety. Coffee wise they support local and use beans from a fellow Maine business, Black Ink Coffee in Bangor. My wife got the Blueberry Pancake Iced Latte and I got the Strawberry Shortcake Iced Latte. Both had tons of flavor, definitely sweet though so be mindful if that isn't your thing. Lastly, we had each got a sausage egg and cheese on an english muffin. Let me say they were some of the largest english muffins I have had. The egg was also seasoned much more than you usually get. A top-notch breakfast sandwich I would return for. The croissant looked crisp and airy, not over filled. But when you bit into it there was no crunch, completely lacking that delicate glass like texture that really makes a croissant. It felt days old stale and thick, no layers, just a block of filled bread. The breakfast sandwiches are premade and microwaved (at least that as the texture) to order. Underseasoned and dull. The coffee on the other hand was good. I'd go back for the coffee, definitely not the breakfast or pastries.
