My first time in Denton, TX and discovered the best burger i've ever had! Brisket Burger is a locally owned and operated restaurant and their burger patties are made with brisket, short rib and Chuck. As soon we walked in, we were greeted and there was a line of people waiting to pickup their order (good sign). I really enjoyed the Savory Shrooms (Mushroom & Swiss) burger with a side of fries. First, the burger has so much flavor from the combination of beef and it was cooked to perfection and the onion bun is a great addition to the flavors. Each bite was super juicy and I didn't want it to end. Also, loved the fries, the seasoning is unique, and crispy. I also tasted my friends Brisket philly- AMAZING; super cheesy, juicy brisket and nice buttery toasted roll. The service was exceptional for such a casual place and I was very impressed at the attention to detail, clever menu options and price. My total for this delicious meal was only $13 (that's cheaper than Whataburger;) and I have no doubt their BBQ is just as good as the burger. read more

When my friend ordered online we both thought she chose Cheeseburgers. I watched her place the order. We both got burgers without cheese, but they were still good. The grilled onions did not look appetizing, but we both agreed they were good. My potato salad side was good and her sweet potato fries were, as well. When she picked up the order everything was ready, except the drinks, which were fixed when she arrived so the ice wouldn't water them down. She thought that was a great idea. read more

My family has been here twice. On Friday afternoon Mr Randy recommended us the chopper burger and it came with a side of BBQ sauce. A little tangy but good. The girl server that was working along side him was very cute and attentive to us. It felt authentic and she got our drinks out before we even got done paying. Quick service and clean environment. My husband came again trying to meet with a friend Wednesday night the menu had soda stains on it and the tables and seat had crumbs and I think pepper or seeds all over it. Since there was not a cheeseburger on the menu, I ordered the 1/3lb Brisket Burger with pepper jack cheese for an extra 30 cent. As I had not yet noticed the various pies and cheesecakes in the display case, I also ordered the Jumbo Onion Rings. When I got my order, I was worried if the bun would break apart due to the toppings. Fortunately, the cheeseburger never came close to falling apart. I enjoyed every bite. The least favorite item on the tray was the onion rings. Due to their enormous size, the fried breading would fall apart. After a couple attempts, I stopped trying to dip them in the ranch sauce. Although messier, it may have been easier to pour the sauce over the rings. If I were to visit this restaurant again, I definitely would skip the onions rings for one of the pies. read more

The reviews looked promising, but oh my- it was not good. The burgers have zero seasoning and I think it's because they are frozen patties. All of our burgers were uniform in size and no seasoning which leads us to believe they are frozen. The fries were just over done and a bad flavor. The poppyseed bun clashed with the burger. The sautéed onions were salt less! No seasoning. The one thing they did do well on was the runny egg on the burger. That was perfectly cooked. I recently came here and had the Fireside burger, so i needed to change it up. The creamy jalapeño pepper burger is that; creamy with some heat. The fresh jalapeños provided that bright, tart spice and heat that is not present with pickled jalapeño (which i like as well). The cream cheese helped tame the heat, and the chipotle mayo just rounds out the flavors. The meat was 1/2lb patty and juicy. So we are here due to a recommendation from Joseph at the hospital. He said the food was great, the atmosphere was nice and laid back plus the staff is awesome. We were greeted upon entering and I must say Harleigh was very nice. She gave great suggestions on the menu due to my request and pickiness lol... This spot is nicely decorated with a homie feel and just laid back. The dining area is nice with a nice set up. The restroom was clean. The staff are wearing mask and gloves. They provide you with sanitizer if you need it. They do have adequate parking on side of the building. Now y'all know this chick here loves her some sweet tea!!! OMG when I say this here freshly brewed sweet tea is "bussing"!!!! Yesss it's just right. I need a gallon or 2 to go... The food is fantastic... The brisket, ribs and pulled pork was flavorful tender and just right. My husband and daughter was very pleased with the food. Tamethya thought those ribs were exceptionally well cooked and to pull off the bone with ease had her very delightful.. The Philly cheese steak was awesome especially the grilled jalapeños. Those fried mushrooms and okra was bomb. The kiddos really enjoyed that toast and potato salad. Yea they weird like that.. All I can say to me the highlight was that sweet tea. My family and I tried this place for the first time today and loved the whole experience! Randy helped us out and had the best customer service we've had in a while. My husband and I got the chopper burgers, and the kids got their hotdogs and tenders. The seasoned fries were perfect, along with the fried pickles and shoestring onion rings! There was nothing left on our trays... needless to say the food was absolutely delicious. Great place for the whole family and will be returning again very soon!! Overrated. This place was reecommended to us by some Denton locals, so we figured we'd give it a shot while in the area. The buns were fresh and tasty, but the poppy seeds are an annoyingly-messy addition that do nothing for the flavor of the burger. Patties are a little large for our liking. While the beef tasted beefy and fresh, it lacked any real seasoning. A little salt and pepper would've gone a looong way. The sauteed onions add a sweetness that didn't really match with the overall flavors of the burger. Either fresh onions or leave the brown sugar out of the sauteed onions, no need for that saccharine sweetness from the brown sugar. I will say, the fries were incredible. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked. Onion strings weren't bad, I'd recommend the fatter onion rings over the strings. Overall ambiance was nice. It's a cool setup and the dining room was clean and tidy. The person who took our order and delivered our food was nice and helpful, no complaints on service. All in all, I think they're trying a little too hard to balance "craft" with the basicness of the burger. With burgers, less is more. They're one of the easiest things to make, but one of the hardest things to make good. First time dining at Brisket Burger so I had to try the name sake and it's a solid burger. Tasty meat, nice bread and crisp fries for a good price and really cute presentation. When you first enter the establishment you are at the ordering/ pay station, which made me think this was a tiny grab-n-go spot but there is ample seating around the corner and they seem to have a steady lunch crowd. Your order will be brought to you and there is a soda fountain for self service refills, so I liked the casual dining set up they have. Wow Brisket Burger is legit! I think it's my favorite burger in Denton (possibly tied with RG's). Everything tasted super fresh and delicious. I got the half pound bacon cheeseburger. It came on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and delicious caramelized onions. I subbed out mustard for mayo. Also something that is super imported to me in terms of great burgers is that the burger does not fall apart. My Brisket Burger bacon cheeseburger did not fall apart! We ordered a burger and a 2 meat bbq plate with ribs and house sausage. When the food got there, the food was cold. The ribs were tough and there was only 2 of them!! For 14 dollars!!! Brisket burger was very impressive! I enjoy the pulled pork sandwich a lot, it was very juicy and everything is very well seasoned. The onion rings were also really fresh, not too thickly battered but nice and Crisp. You can tell that they cut the onion rings fresh and are made to order. I also really enjoyed the ranch dressing that came with the rings, it didn't taste like normal ranch so it must've been homemade! My favorite thing to order was the catfish. Best burger in DFW!! Appears to be an old Sonic building converted into an amazing burger joint!! It has about 15 tables inside with super cute decor. Ah-MAZE-ing gem located in Denton. There are very few bbq places in this town that are worthy of visiting again and again and this is one of them. Supporting local business just feels better when it also taste this good. Their brisket when it comes out fresh and hot will melt in your mouth like butter and their thin, crispy onion rings are a great addition to any entree. The 1 meat plate has a choice of two sides and a toast. For dipping sauces I'd go for the obvious choice of their BBQ sauce and ranch for the haystack onion rings.
