I could have ordered brisket like other BBQ restaurants, but I was hungry for a cheeseburger. Since there was not a cheeseburger on the menu, I ordered the 1/3lb Brisket Burger with pepper jack cheese for an extra 30 cent. As I had not yet noticed the various pies and cheesecakes in the display case, I also ordered the Jumbo Onion Rings. When I got my order, I was worried if the bun would break apart due to the toppings. Fortunately, the cheeseburger never came close to falling apart. I enjoyed every bite. The least favorite item on the tray was the onion rings. Due to their enormous size, the fried breading would fall apart. After a couple attempts, I stopped trying to dip them in the ranch sauce. Although messier, it may have been easier to pour the sauce over the rings. If I were to visit this restaurant again, I definitely would skip the onions rings for one of the pies.

I recently came here and had the Fireside burger, so i needed to change it up. The creamy jalapeño pepper burger is that; creamy with some heat. The fresh jalapeños provided that bright, tart spice and heat that is not present with pickled jalapeño (which i like as well). The cream cheese helped tame the heat, and the chipotle mayo just rounds out the flavors. The meat was 1/2lb patty and juicy. It was not medium, but was on the more done side which again, was not a problem here. Second visit, and still really digging the burger quality.

So we are here due to a recommendation from Joseph at the hospital. He said the food was great, the atmosphere was nice and laid back plus the staff is awesome. We were greeted upon entering and I must say Harleigh was very nice. She gave great suggestions on the menu due to my request and pickiness lol... This spot is nicely decorated with a homie feel and just laid back. The dining area is nice with a nice set up. The restroom was clean. The staff are wearing mask and gloves. They provide you with sanitizer if you need it. They do have adequate parking on side of the building. Now y'all know this chick here loves her some sweet tea!!! OMG when I say this here freshly brewed sweet tea is "bussing"!!!! Yesss it's just right. I need a gallon or 2 to go... The food is fantastic... The brisket, ribs and pulled pork was flavorful tender and just right. My husband and daughter was very pleased with the food. Tamethya thought those ribs were exceptionally well cooked and to pull off the bone with ease had her very delightful.. The Philly cheese steak was awesome especially the grilled jalapeños. Those fried mushrooms and okra was bomb. The kiddos really enjoyed that toast and potato salad. Yea they weird like that.. All I can say to me the highlight was that sweet tea. I was to full of it to eat anything lol.... We will be back and I do recommend them to family and friends who loves this type of food.

First time dining at Brisket Burger so I had to try the name sake and it's a solid burger. Tasty meat, nice bread and crisp fries for a good price and really cute presentation. When you first enter the establishment you are at the ordering/ pay station, which made me think this was a tiny grab-n-go spot but there is ample seating around the corner and they seem to have a steady lunch crowd. Your order will be brought to you and there is a soda fountain for self service refills, so I liked the casual dining set up they have. Staff was nice and bathrooms were clean, overall I had good experience and I'll be back to try another menu item.

This place needs updated on the inside, but what you find on the inside is delightful and CLEAN. It's a quaint burger joint that specializes in Brisket Burgers (hence the name) I ordered the 1/2 pound Chopper. A Brisket burger with chopped brisket combo. Although the service is slow, it is worth the wait.

Not gonna lie...walked in around 9pm tonight and the door was locked, as though it was closed, even though the place was not supposed to close until 10. Kinda WTH but whatevs. The staff did not appear to be enthusiastic about opening the door until we knocked. But ok nuff bout that! So we ordered the patty melt and the bbq bacon burger and some fries. I have to say as far as burgers go this place was not that bad. Actually pretty good. If you like a lighter beer selection then you're in luck. I'm not a fan but to each their own. I did like the burgers. Juicy and pretty good stuff. All around the food was good. You should try it!

Do not pass this place up. It is one of the best burgers I have ever had. I had the black and blue burger which was dripping with amazingness! The french fries are crispy and soft they are so delicious I would drive all the way from Houston just to get a fry. The staff is beyond helpful and gracious. Made plenty of wonderful suggestions and let me take my time with my feeble mind and indecisiveness. The food was fresh and came out quickly the only thing that I regret is that I did not have time or room in my stomach for a shake. Always next time though be sure to come back whenever we are in town!

First thing as soon as I walked in I was welcomed!!! I ordered take-out and it took about 15-20 minutes which isn't bad at all!! I ordered the brisket burger and was expecting brisket on my burger but it wasn't any also if you want cheese add it because cheese doesn't come on this burger. I also got a bbq bacon cheeseburger and It was good I think the barbecue sauce threw me off because it was very sweet not what I was expecting but over all it was good definitely would order again just minus the barbecue sauce. The had plenty of sides to pair with whatever entree you choose. I tried the potato salad I wasn't a fan but my sister was. I also got fried pickles and 10/10 definitely recommend thinly sliced pickles not over powering they were prefect. The fries were really good and well seasoned .

If you're looking for a great burger and/or BBQ THIS is the place to come!! I got the frito pie burger with fries, and my bf got the two meat plate (brisket and sausage) with potato salad and sweet potato fries. All of it was delicious & affordable!! A big bonus---the staff is so sweet and quick! I will definitely be back. read more

I remember going to brisket burger when it first opened and I loved it so much that I have not stopped going back. I told everyone about this place! People from all over the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex come out to this spot because I raved so much about it!! My favorite burger is the Benedict burger. Can't go wrong with that or the black and blue burger! I also hit up their breakfast and it's just as good. I think it might start taking the top spot for a go to burger for me in Denton. read more

I came in today and was immediately greeted and seated. On weekends they offer a weekend breakfast special for 4.99. We did wait a little longer than expected but I was not let down when we recorded the order. The pancakes melt in your mouth, bacon was cooked to perfection and was not skimpy. They take pride in their food! Will definitely be back. read more

Wife and I came in and had the bbq burger and the chopped burger. Both were amazing and I can't believe I ate the whole thing. Topped the meal off with haystack rings, sweet potato fries, and two shakes. Side were very good and the shakes were nice and thick and filling. This place has a lot of really great options, so there's something for everyone even vegetarians! Their brisket burger is great (definitely recommend putting an egg on it) and I really enjoyed their seafood options. The fries are bombbbb. I don't really get all the 4 and 5-star ratings. Maybe Denton just doesn't have that many good burger places around, but my dad, wife, and myself all thought it was just an average tasting burger. I get that they use a combo of 3 different meats, but I seriously doubt most people would be able to tell if they weren't told. The haystack onion rings were good, but none of us cared for the sidewinder fries, they didn't have a whole lot of flavor to them. Service was very nice and friendly though, a definite plus. All in all though I doubt we'd go back unless we just happened to be in the area. read more

I rarely review anything, but holy sh*t this is probably my new favorite burger place. Sidewinder fries are the only way I want my fries from here on out. I had a 1/2 lb Benedict Burger and am not ashamed to say it disappeared rather quickly (not without taking a couple laps around the table). It was my first experience, but man did it leave an impression. I'll definitely be back. Do yourselves a favor and eat here. read more

We were looking for a new place to eat before hitting Denton for our Saturday afternoon beer adventures. I found Brisket Burger in the Denton listings and talked my wife into giving it a try. WOW!!! The burgers were excellent. My wife tried the side salad with the house made ranch dressing and said it was delicious. I had the onion rings. The onion rings were so good that we had to have two additional orders to share. We are looking forward to our next visit to try the shrimp and catfish. read more

1st off.....why aren't there more recent reviews?! The fried mushrooms, well they come from heaven..that's all there is to it. The burgers...OF COARSE they are great! Chilli is yum.... brisket is delicious. I mean the only thing I don't like is the fries...they Are like popeyes fries....battered and taste from fozen... But WHO GIVES A FUUUUU.....! read more

It's a good place. The staff is friendly and the food is good. I had the chili cheese brisket burger with fries. The flavors are good but don't let the name fool you. It's a burger. That's it. It tastes like a grilled burger. At no point did I think "wow, this tastes so much better with brisket meat and I can totally taste the difference". But like I said, it's good, and the menu has plenty to offer. It's certainly worth a try. read more

Wow! Great experience from start to finish. We stopped in very haphazardly on our way to Kansas for Memorial Day weekend. Who would have thought we would stumble upon a gem. So, first off everyone was super friendly and helpful. Second, they had unique choices for burgers. We chose the bacon cheeseburger and the fireside burger. Both burgers were amazing...flavorful, juicy and topped with fresh ingredients. They also had well seasoned fries called the sidewinders. These fries had a slight curl and were crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked in the middle. We live almost an hour away, but we will definitely be back. I came from to Denton from Georgia on a training trip for work for 5 days and I only wish I would've found this joint on the first day I was here. I would have eaten here every single night! Our group had a regular cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, bbq bacon burger, Turkey burger and chicken strips. Burgers were all great and chicken strips got a thumbs up as well. These guys have some of the best burgers in Denton. They are kind and make a special Buffalo Chicken sandwich that is to die for. Unfortunately they don't have wifi, but if you sit close to Denny's it sometimes works.. Would give 6 stars if they fixed that. read more

Don't let the exterior fool you; this eatery is straight legit! Burgers are made with beef, brisket, and short ribs, which combine to make on delicious patty. Tonight, we went with a more traditional choice in a bacon cheeseburger, which rivals any place in town! I will definitely be coming back and back again...there are so many burgers I want to try. read more

Went in with my Mom for lunch yesterday (January 31) and had a VERY disappointing experience. We waited 30 minutes for our order which apparently is the "standard ticket time" according to the manager/owner, which is understandable since everything is made fresh, but some communication would've been appreciated. Clearly, they are running food and see us (sitting near the front) without any food and fail to check in on us. I understand that they were in a lunch rush and trying to get everyone served, but it would've taken less than 20 seconds to talk to us and let us know about the wait, which honestly, I would not have minded - just say something. Even the cashier who was clearing tables did not talk to us. And when we asked her about the status of our order at the counter, she didn't have an answer because she couldn't even recall what was on our ticket even after we told her our order number. So after waiting, we get finally get an explanation from the manager/owner of the reason behind the wait and a soft apology (this is where I explained the importance of communication but I don't think it was getting through to him) as they served us food that unfortunately was mediocre tasting/looking at best. The chicken fried chicken my Mom ordered was curled up under a thick layer of batter and gravy, not laying flat. She didn't even eat her sides (John Wayne baked beans and coleslaw) because they were too salty. I didn't even get the burger I ordered. I asked for a Frisco Burger and got a regular Brisket Burger, which I didn't bother to tell them because I was not about to wait AGAIN for it to be redone. As we were leaving, the manager/owner came rushing out claiming he was on his way to the table to give us a refund (which I refused) and offering us free meals on our next visit (which were also declined because we won't be returning). To me, that is not fixing the problem. I don't know if they are under new ownership and have hired a new team, because past experiences have been superior. We've never had an issue with time and/or quality before. It just wasn't the same. At all. Again, communication is key, step up your customer service and if you're gonna have patrons wait, then deliver food that is outstanding because what we got wasn't. read more

My partner in food wanted to try the King Kong against my better judgment. Looking at the photos, it didn't appear conceivable - to make matters worse, he wanted it to go! It came deconstructed. The cheeseburger was fine, but nothing that really stood out. The chili dog had plenty of chili and cheese on top, but the chili itself was a bit bland and heavy. The fries were thick and crunchy at first, but cooled off quickly and lost their crisp. They tasted more like frozen fries than fresh-cut. Service was polite and friendly, though the wait for food felt a little long considering it wasn't busy when we came in. The place has a laid-back, old-school diner vibe, which is nice in theory, but the inside could use a little refresh. It's not bad if you're nearby and craving a burger, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

My partner purchased their most basic burger, the Waylon $12, the fries are sold separately. This burger was small, and once again, the patty itself was a disappointment. Texas sun cocktail was refreshing but just a simple pineapple and vodka mix.

Yes because they have a full menu of things to try but I probably won't try the brisket again.

Upon walking into Burger Time Machine you are hit with the smell of delicious. If you don't know what that smell is you need to go to Burger Time Machine. On my first visit I had the Star Trek and I was hooked. During the remainder of my time at UNT I ate at Burger Time Machine once a week and have eaten every single burger on the menu. While I was in school it got to the point where the staff on Fridays knew me and I loved it. It was a very great mission I took on to eat every single burger but with a 6 mile round trip from my apartment to Burger Time Machine I felt like eating their was alright. I had to move for a job and then went back with my partner and she also says we need to go visit Denton so we can do Jazz Fest and other great Denton things, but we both know it's to eat at Burger Time Machine. If you're getting kind of fast food burgers / fast casual burgers / etc. at any other restaurant in Denton, you are doing a disservice to yourself.
