We parked next door at the gas station and walked to the park. There was no parking fee or entrance fee. We made it there about 9 and there were about 5 vendors and many tables to sit and enjoy your food. There was also music playing. Slutty vegan seemed to be the only vendor with a line. When I'm talking line, I'm talking L-I-N-E!!!! As we were waiting, we ended up getting a spiked lemonade from one of the vendors and it wasn't spiked much. Lol After standing in line for 2 hours we're getting closer to the front, and then we hear "We're sold out."

Atlanta is better off for having food trucks (and this park, specifically). Despite the cloudy, on-and-off drizzly weather, the park had a good turnout of patrons between 7-9pm on a Thursday night. Thanks to those who braved the elements for our UYE (http://www.yelp.com/events/atlanta-atlanta-food-truck-park-uye). The food truck/food stand lineup was pretty good: Sweet Auburn BBQ Corn-a-Cue One Love Jerk Grill Metro City Dogs Lemonade Stand WOW! Food Truck Ibiza Bites Chay J's New Orleans Candies Rouxd Food Truck King of Pops Yum Yum Cupcake Verizon also had a stand. I've been following the park's official calendar (http://www.atlantafoodtruckpark.com/calendar/) over the past month and noticed Thursday nights are the ideal weeknight (excluding Fridays) to go for the most trucks and the best selection. I suspect there might have been more trucks last night if it wasn't for the weather. I ended up trying a little bit of everything: Arepas (Venezuelan sliders) from WOW! Food Truck Beef brisket with Asian pear slaw taco from Sweet Auburn BBQ Goat cheese-stuffed fried green tomatoes from Ibiza Bites Creole pretzels and Creole popcorn from Chay J's I'll be posting reviews for each of those trucks in the next few days. If you come for dinner, I recommend coming on the early side as the food trucks only have a limited supply of items and do sell out. This leads some trucks to close early. I saw many menus with marked off items that had sold out for the day. Yum Yum Cupcakes shut down early because they sold out of their cupcakes for the day. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much seating the park had. I counted 16 large picnic tables in the main "dining" area, most with umbrellas. Each picnic table can seat up to about 8 people each. The picnic tables are located on a flat, paved surface. The food trucks are located in a large gravel lot. This lot has 4 communal standing tables and 2 additional picnic tables. So overall, this spot has quite a bit of seating, which is convenient. Also, plenty of trash cans and recycling bins to keep the grounds looking relatively clean. The park is family and dog-friendly. It can be a little loud because you're around all these big trucks and next to busy Howell Mill Rd. You can BYOB, so save money by bringing your own drinks. If you want water, I saw some trucks selling it for $1 per bottle. There is one restroom and it's a "Johnny on the Spot" porta-potty in the parking lot with portable sink outside so you can wash your hands. There is ample free parking behind the park. Turn onto Emery St, next to the Shell Station on Howell Mill, to find it. If you need more detailed directions, check out the park's FAQ here: http://www.atlantafoodtruckpark.com/faqs/. The parking lot is old and filled with pot holes, so drive carefully. I saw someone puncture their car's tire by running over a broken-off metal sign post on the ground (she was trying to make too tight of a turn around the dining area). Note that every Wednesday and Friday night throughout the summer, the park will be playing movies for free. Also, from time to time, there is live music. On the weekends, there's a food market with rotating vendors and an artists market coming soon. Overall, I'm very happy with the Atlanta Food Truck Park and definitely plan on returning.

Delicious, crispy and hot tots with an explosion of flavor…read more We got the cactus hugger ($9) that had cheese, beans, fried jalapeños, sour cream, guac, green onions..?? I think that's it. Kinda pricey for how much you get, but that's all food trucks. Definitely worth the try! 10/10 recommend.

Horrid. I expect laughing reacts for my review, but hear me out…read more $12 for tots without cheese. Had I had the cheese, it would have been $10 -- huh? The menu says "Make it vegan for $2 more!" ... like that sucks, but substitutions are alright. But, nah.. it was $2 more for the dudes to put one less thing on the tots. Cool stuff bro. So what about taste? They were mediocre. Salsa seemed to be Tostitos or any other bargain-basement jarred or canned salsa. The guacamole was a slurry of goo that really had no flavor. The tots themselves were nice and crispy, but no more than straight from a freezer bag. I get it -- speed of service, profit margins, etc. ... but don't settle with trashy ingredients for the toppings *and* charge a premium. So what about portion? Well, I figure there was a total of 18 tots given to me. For $12. Do the math. Toppings weren't skimpy, but I wish they were, just because the quality wasn't there. I should have just gotten their naked freezer bag tots. At least then I'd've known what I was getting. Never again. Feel free to throw me all of the "Funny" reacts, but for real -- meat eater, vegetarian, or vegan, stay away from this place and ignore these fake Yelp reviews. P.S. For the record, I didn't let the truck know of my disappointment. They may have been very accommodating. Who knows. I know the festival is taking a big cut of their profits, but they don't need to charge more for less food. That makes no sense. Good luck, guys.

She listened to our vision for our cocktail hour with apps, dinner reception, and dessert, and came up with a fabulous menu using her culinary talent. She is a very calming presence and has a great can-do attitude that was perfect for pulling off a large wedding event. I loved the freshness of the food she prepared and most of the vegetarian southern meal that she created was sourced from local farms she picked up herself. It was important to us that we provided the freshest, most sustainable food possible. She had a bartender staff our cocktail and additional staff help with set-up and clean-up. Our guests loved the food, drinks, and watermelon snow cart. And her prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend Good Food Truck for weddings and other events. Besides, there's nothing more unique than having a watermelon snow cart to cool off while dancing at an outdoor Atlanta wedding! Thank you to Jessamine and everyone on your team! Our menu: Ginger Limeade Cocktails Parmesan Cones with kale and apple salad Flatbreads with goats cheese and corncob and pickled jalapeño jelly and kudzu blossom and chipotle jam Dinner: Baby spinach salad with roasted butternut, cherry tomato and pecan with a balsamic dressing Collards Black eyed peas Pimento cheese grits Plain and jalapeño cornbread with sorghum butter Split roasted okra Edamame succotash salad Watermelon Snow Cart!

Ibiza Bites is my new #1 favorite street food vendor - I obviously fell in love b/c I ate there…read moretwice this past week (Street Food Mondays at Woodruff Arts Center, and Street Food Thursdays at P'tree and 12th) ... follow them on Twitter @ibizabites to see where they will be next. I think they were somewhere in Atlanta almost every day this week! They describe their food as South American, Latin American, and Deep South. Like David K, I call it "delicious." IBIZA SIGNATURE BITE - $6.50 I ran into David K at both street food events, and he told me he loved the signature bite -- so that's what I got during my first visit. Slow-cooked Latin spiced brisket on a generous bed of stone-ground cheddar grits, and then a decorative plantain ribbon for presentation :) Everything was yummy, esp. the meat - I could've easily eaten a 2nd serving :) DARN CHURRASCO - $7 3 of my co-workers had gotten this, and they all LOVED it! I loved it too, esp. the mixed veggies. Grilled skirt steak w/ chimichurri sauce (meat is chewy as with all skirt steak), mango coconut rice, and served w/ roasted corn, diced zucchini, oyster mushrooms, and a nice plump maduro :) Beautiful presentation for "street food." PECAN-FRIED CHICKEN & WAFFLES - $6 I got this for my 2nd visit, and it was a great combination of sweet-n-salty. Fried chicken was boneless dark meat, and drizzled w/ maple syrup, peaches, and dijon mustard. Delicious too but for me, probably a "one-time only" experience ... mostly b/c "fried" food is something I should say away from, haha :) I'd probably get the churrasco or signature bite next time. CRISPY FRIED GREEN TOMATOES - $3.50 What makes these fried green tomatoes extra special is the surprise layer of Georgia Thomasville goat cheese spiked w/ chipotle aioli included too. Definitely worth a try, esp. if you're a fan of fried green tomatoes (or goat cheese). HAND-CUT SWEET POTATO FRIES - $3 I love that all their sides have a creative twist - their sweet potato fries are "dusted w/ fire-roasted marshmallows". We were fortunate to get a complimentary serving - thank you! Honestly I couldn't tell if the marshmallows were fire-roasted but I appreciated they were different :) PIE FRIES - $2.50 I was intrigued by the description ... I never had pie fries before. It's basically pie crust shaped like sticks, and they came w/ 2 dipping sauces: passionfruit, and key lime. Definitely a sharing dessert b/c it comes w/ several sticks and 1-2 was enough for me. It was good but I wouldn't order it again ... I would order again their bread pudding though! APPLE BREAD PUDDING - $3 Huge generous piece of bread pudding that was to die for. Definitely made for sharing. Drizzled w/ caramel sauce and white chocolate chips. Yum. Overall 5 stars for excellent food - they really raised the bar for street food. I look forward to eating their food on a weekly basis :)

Ibiza Bites is the burnt orange food truck with the giant bird graphic on the side. I ran into…read morethis truck at the Atlanta Food Truck Park on Howell Mill Rd. The truck was started by a couple, who named it after the Mediterranean nightlife-island of Ibiza, located off the east coast of Spain. The food served at Ibiza bites is a mixture of Latin American and Southern using local and seasonal ingredients. This truck was, by far, the most popular truck at the food truck park. It had the longest line and there never seemed a moment where there was no crowd huddled around it, either customers in line or waiting for their orders. The truck sold out early of its popular Lobster Mac & Cheese and El Equador Peruvian-Style Ceviche, two of the more expensive items. "Main Bites" left for the day included coconut fried chicken atop mango basil slaw, skirt steak with chimichurri (garlic and parsley) sauce and succotash, Venezuelan slow-roasted brisket with cheddar grits, and Georgia peach Caprese salad. These items ran from $7.00 to $8.50 each. Three sides ("Feel Good Bites") consisted of crispy fried green tomatoes, lemon Parmesan waffle fries, and mango coconut rice. The mango coconut rice is served with several of the mains including the chicken, steak, and brisket. These sides, along with the strawberry shortcake dessert, were between $3-4 each. Special for the day was Rafa's Bourbon Burger, which contained Angus beef, blue cheese, arugula, fried green tomato, pickle, bourbon BBQ sauce, and waffle fries for $11. Beverages ($2) included lemonade and sweet tea out of self-serve coolers next to the truck. Probably the most popular bite of the night were the fried green tomatoes. They were stuffed with goat cheese from Thomasville, GA and topped with spicy chipotle aioli. These were delicious. The batter was light, had a fine consistency, and was indeed crispy. Goat cheese was stuffed inside the batter, next to the tomato slices and a generous portions of rich aioli topped everything off. Three tomatoes come with each order. The thing I like best about Ibiza Bites are the selection and quality of ingredients used. It's gourmet, farm-to-table-type food, served out of a truck. If you don't mind the long lines, then it's definitely worth a visit.
