I would not recommend Bristol Dental Group. My experience felt very focused on upselling and maximizing profit rather than patient care. I came in for what was supposed to be a routine cleaning, but the visit quickly turned into a push for multiple additional procedures that didn't feel necessary. They also offer a UV light treatment. I strongly advise avoiding this. It felt like an add-on service meant to increase the bill rather than provide real value. On top of that, the cleaning itself was not thorough. I left feeling like the basics weren't even properly done, which is concerning for a dental office. Overall, the pricing felt marked up, and the recommendations seemed more about revenue than actual dental health. If you're looking for honest, straightforward care, I would suggest going elsewhere. read more

The worst dental office I've been to in a very long time and I'm a senior. The old office mgr (woman) was disrespectful and mean to me, the new manager (man) mocked my autism! It gets worse, I was left with a potentially cancerous growth under my tongue for two months. Bristol Dental wanted $400 as they told me my dental insurance didn't cover it. I was scheduled to have the growth under my tongue removed but Bristol didn't communicate with the oral surgeon at all and he refused to do the surgery! It was extremely frustrating, in the lobby I started to cry out of utter frustration. The manager told me I was disturbing the other patients... I contacted my doctor and he referred me to an ENT to remove the growth under my tongue and was scheduled for surgery within a week. Copay zero! Thank God it wasn't cancerous like they thought! Add insult to injury, my upper dentures were extremely loose. Bristol Dental added some film to the dentures and I could not enunciate--and Bristol refused to do anything about it except add some rubbery material. I became extremely depressed, I couldn't wear my dentures! Out of frustration I started to carve out the added material to the dentures little by little until they fit better. Really? They asked for $100 to get my partial lower dentures back?! The new veneer for my tooth fell off in less than a year, I was charged for it! Grateful that my new dentist at Carson Dental really cares and knows exactly how to submit dental work needed to my health insurance, no copays! read more

Absolutely unacceptable experience - avoid at all costs!!! I had two terrible experiences at Bristol Dental Group in a single day one for myself and one for my child and I will never be returning. My son's first-ever dental appointment was scheduled for 5:00 PM, just for simple X-rays, yet we waited over an hour as multiple patients with later appointments were called in before us. When I asked the front desk how much longer, they told me at least another 45 minutes to an hour and justified it by saying, "We prioritize patients getting treatment first." If that's the case, what's the point of making appointments at all? To make matters worse, I had my own appointment earlier that morning, also my first visit, again just for X-rays. That appointment was at 10:00 am I didn't walk out of there until 1:00 pm. 3 hours just for basic imaging, no treatment at all. Completely disorganized, inconsiderate, and disrespectful of patients' time. If you value your time, your sanity, or your child's comfort during their first dental visit, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place is chaotic, unprofessional, and has zero regard for appointment scheduling or basic patient care. read more

I originally booked my appointment for a Monday; however, after waiting for 1.5hrs, I had to reschedule because they had 2 more clients in front of me. Then what's the point of booking an appointment? I came back two days later, and although they got to me quick in reception, the actual dentist had me waiting for TWO HOURS AND 30 MINUTES before she even go started with me. IT WAS RIDICULOUS. I had the worst experience today at this horrible incompetent dental office. Went in for a small chipped front tooth and removing right side of silver filing to replace with white porcelain. Let's just say the work done has to be done over again. I was refunded a small amount for chipped tooth and had other work to be done but definitely can't go back there and I would not recommend this place to anyone even for free services. read more

This place is ruining my credit and has been paid by insurance and care credit and cannot ever provide me a bill. An itemized list of charges I've been asking for since January 2025 and they have billed mine and my husband's Medi-Cal for false claims. They refuse to even provide me a bill. I cannot go anywhere else to fix my teeth. What kind of dentist is this. I should have went to Mexico, I haven't heard anything negative about the dentists over there. Only time I heard bad things was from this place when they convinced me to get a snap on from them, they don't care about what they are doing to me. I came in because of a referral to get some wisdom teeth removed. Front desk was smooth. X-rays were smooth. Doctor was very sweet and helpful but after the doctor left, I sat in that chair for 10 minutes. I was confused what I was waiting for, so I asked and they told me that someone would be coming to talk to me about next steps. A woman from the font proceeds to try to get me to sign up for this $2000 procedure that wasn't gonna be covered by my insurance. I told her no so she makes me sit in the chair for another 5 minutes and brings my original doctor to tell me the pros and cons. Which I got from the first time she told me and I still don't want the add on. So she leaves me there for another 10 minutes. I decide to get up and go to the front desk and figure out what I'm waiting for still, she tells me that the surgeon really recommends not to do the surgery unless I get this additional $2000 add-on. So I say if he's not willing to do this without it and I don't want it then I'll go somewhere else. She says "he really recommends it" So I chose to just go with someone else and walked out the door. I'm not really sure why the upsell was worth losing a client. I dont recommend this place. read more

I went in two months ago for a check-up, as it had been a few years since I had been. I chose this place because I read nothing but great things in the reviews. The front desk ladies were really kind and welcoming, as were the hygienist and dentist, who made me feel really comfortable and explained what work I needed done. I returned two days later to have my wisdom teeth taken out, and everything healed up well with no issues. I returned last month as well and had a deeper cleaning done by Christian, who was really gentle and made sure to explain everything to me. He stops immediately if you feel any discomfort. I had 5 filings at top and 2 at bottom. He has a soft hand and very efficient in his job. Don't hesitate to come here for your dental needs. Just moved to Paramount and I found this place on my way to the 99C store. I was welcomed by the office staff as I approached the front desk. To me that means alot, im tierd of people giving me the stink eye because of my insurance. I have "DENTICAL" I was very lucky to find this place. I was treated like if I had a PPO insurance. I use to have Cigna PPO when I had my old job. now I have DENTICAL and I fell like there is no decent or presentable place on earth that takes my insurance.
