Fortunately, I was referred to Brodsky Orthodontics. When I saw Joel, he was completely upfront with me. He gently asked why I was even there with that retainer, explaining that it wasn't going to straighten my teeth at all, it would only hold them in their current, shifted position. While I was annoyed that my previous provider had me pay for a retainer that couldn't fix the issue, I was incredibly relieved to have landed at Brodsky. Joel was honest, clear, and walked me through everything every step of the way. My entire experience was amazing. I'm so excited to start my Invisalign journey with them, and I've already recommended them to my sister! He took the time to explain to me not just what his recommendations were, but the WHY behind them; I didn't feel rushed as I asked follow up questions, which I really appreciated. His staff was very friendly, patient, quick to respond to messages, made my child feel at ease, welcome, and part of the process. Even though it's a 40min drive each way for our appointments, and my insurance doesn't cover orthodontics, this was clearly the right choice based on the treatment plan, as it actually made sense, and my child's treatment requiring more than just braces throughout the process. They also offer interest free financing. My recommendation is to consult 2-3 providers before making a final decision, but definitely make Dr. Brodsky one of them.

We were referred to Dr. Doulaverakis (do-LAH-ver-AA-kis) by our kid's normal dentist because it…read morebecame evident early on that his mouth was too narrow as his permanent teeth coming up were all over the place. On the initial consultation, staff took photos and measurements and then the Dr. came in to do an evaluation, explain what she sees is the issue and proposes the plan of action. I thought whoever saw my kid's snaggleteeth would immediately say "BRACES. NOW!", but Dr. D said that they would first approach this with trying to make enough room with a palatal expander that would widen the upper jaw. Once the upper jaw is widened, the lower follows suit on its own (had no idea about this...you really do learn something new every day!). If that didn't correct the issue, they would recommend next steps...braces perhaps. So the doc explained everything and provided a timeline and cost schedule for this initial treatment. She did a very good job of thoroughly explaining everything, breaking down what the costs include, and was patient with all of my questions. Dr. D has very good rapport with my young son, so he's not afraid of checkups here. Front of office staff and dental assistants have all been very friendly, kind, and helpful whenever we've had an appointment. During Halloween season they would hide a little ghost stuffed animal somewhere in the office and if your child finds it and tells reception, they receive extra entries into a monthly drawing. Each month they hold drawings for neat prizes and gift cards. Also, once you start getting services here they give you a Dr. Ortho t-shirt, and if you come in your tee to your appt, you receive extra entries. Fun for the kiddos! Orthodontia is def not inexpensive, but when necessary it's nice to go to a Dr. that you are confident in and one whose office is clean and comfortable with staff that are helpful, capable, and kind. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Doulaverakis to someone wanting a referral to an orthodontist.

I am very happy with Humphries Orthodontics; I literally look forward to my braces appointments constantly! Their environment is very friendly and everyone is just as invested as you are (if not more) to get you your best smile. I came in with an 8.7mm gap between my two front teeth along with some much needed corrections on my bottom teeth two years ago. I never imagined seeing myself the way I am now! I'm at the final stages of my braces treatment and I am so happy with my new smile! My gap is genetic & I've had it all my life, so I was a bit skeptical of the anticipation of my results at first, in addition to having to go through the growing pains of my teeth having to find its place. (My gap actually grew to 13mm while my teeth were straightening, but that's just how biology works.) But actually seeing the progress I've made and how far I've come with Humphries Ortho really made a difference in my life. I can't stop staring at my teeth! & everyone is always so happy to see my progress at each visit! I always have a ton of questions and both Dr. Humphries's patience with me and my inquiries always adds more confidence to the process. Thanks so much Humphries Ortho! Amazing staff! The front office is always so welcoming. The girls in the back are always friendly, quick and constantly asking if you are doing ok. I love how I rarely have to wait and how they get you in and out as quickly as possible. I also loved how even though I would go weeks without seeing them, Dr. Sage and Dr. Aileen always pick off where they left off as if they were your own friends lol for example, I had issues with my invisalign but Dr. Sage was determined to correct the issue and he did. I am now done and very satisfied and actually a little sad that I would be seeing the staff on a regular basis like I was. When i came to Humphries they asked me what i wanted to achieve and i said a perfect smile. They told me in 24-30 months i would be walking out of there with a perfect smile. 26 months later, i walked out the doors with a perfect smile. I got pretty familiar with everybody, i would come in and say hi to everyone on the way to the chair. It was like saying whats up to my friends. But beyond the comforting hospitality they are professionals who do expert work and deliver in the time they said they would. I came in wanting a perfect smile and that is exactly what i got. Highly recommended if you're thinking of getting orthodontics treatment! They have state-of-the-art technology and superior customer service. Dr. Humphries and his team are very professional and accommodating. Dr. Humphries himself is very knowledgeable, innovative, and a perfectionist type. If your orthodontist say your case is too complicated for Invisalign, consult with him, and you will most likely get a different answer. In terms of appointments, they're usually on the schedules. Only once in a while my treatment time took longer than anticipated because they're extremely busy. But overall my experience with them was very pleasant and I'm excited with the results. read more

Wow! What can I say? This orthodontic office is definitely the best. I couldn't imagine if I got my braces anywhere else. I've been a patient at the office for almost two years and I just got my braces off. Dr. Humphries and the entire staff were incredible accommodating and helpful to get my braces off in time for my senior pictures. There is no place that would be willing to go the extra mile like this office. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs braces because I don't believe there is any other doctor out there who can be as accommodating and can make orthodontics as fun as Dr. Humphries can. I've been coming to Dr. Humphries for a little less than 2 years now, and what he and his GREAT team of assistants have been able to do to my new straight teeth smile is nothing short of remarkable! The whole team from the ladies in front to the assistants in the back are the nicest staff I've ever met and that goes beyond just dental places I've been. Easy to get an appointment, easy to reschedule, multiple locations, and they do whatever they can to get you in that chair at a time that's convenient to you and your schedule. The office staff is extremely friendly and informative. They explain every phase of treatment down to your payment options. First I was pressures to get the crown when I felt perfectly fine, no symptoms. NOTHING! She was said the filled cavity was "too big" so what?! I had no pain... until... she put the new crown, no root canal just a new crown. Struggling to even put it on... left a hunk of cement in between my teeth. I was feeling a lot of nerve pain that even shot over to the other side of my mouth. I called the dentist and they kept saying it was just an adjustment period. I've had crowns and this was never the case. Long story short they said they are going to refer me to a root canal specialist that goes to their office. Red flag! After a month of pain and waiting he ends up saying it's normal pressure sensitivity. Stupid me just wanting to not have a root canal drilled into my new crown( what kinda backwards dentistry practice is this! ) yeah! You heard that right! She was telling me I might need a root canal after she put a brand new crown on) the "root canal specialist" ended up saying I don't need one. Probably just covering for her....but I was just happy to get out of there. I was/am soooo traumatized... Now I need to find a new hopefully trustworthy dentist...ps I was so traumatized I have not gone back to a dentist since 2 years. The pain finally subsided after 6 months probably because my nerve endings finally died.... I'm so upset.... So much money wasted just cuz this greedy dentist wanted to make money on a crown that wasn't even needed in the first place. First red flag was the secretary was having me sign papers for payment before I was even out of the chair! Also, she suggested Invisalign which would have been another 3-5 thousand for two measly crooked teeth I have. Who cares?! I'm not trying to be a model... Awful awful praying on peoples vulnerabilities and fears when going to the dentist.. so hard to find a good one. like I said, I don't really want to write this review but after my expensive crown popped out after two years???!!!! This was surprising to me, as I've consistently gone to the dentist and had never been told I needed such drastic work. Still, I trusted their assessment. The procedures that followed were some of the most painful dental experiences I've ever had. They took hours, felt extremely aggressive, and left me in severe pain afterward--far beyond what I've ever experienced with dental work. I have a high pain tolerance, and this felt very wrong. What was most frustrating was what happened next. I returned multiple times explaining that I couldn't sleep, eat, or function due to the pain. Each time, my concerns were dismissed and attributed to things like not flossing (umm I couldn't floss because of the extreme pain), which didn't make sense given the level of pain I was in. After pushing back repeatedly--especially with my wedding just days away--I insisted something was seriously wrong and requested further evaluation. It turned out I needed three root canals as a result of their prior work. Separately, the crowns that were placed caused ongoing issues. Eating anything with texture would cause gum pain, and I noticed unusual gaps that trapped food. When I brought this up, I was told the only solution was to redo the crowns at additional cost. My crowns also came off. Later, I happened to see a different dentist at the same office (a female provider who may have been temporary), and she immediately noted that the crowns had been placed at an awkward angle. She corrected them, and since then, I've had no pain and no further issues such as crowns falling off. I ultimately switched dentists and have not needed any major dental work since--just routine cleanings every six months, with no recurring problems. Based on what I went through--particularly the aggressive treatment, the outcome, and the dismissal of my concerns--I feel it's important for others to have full context before making a decision.

The Dr and his staff, answered all my questions, explained everything in detail, I had the first part done. The implant and then in 4.5 months I will be back to check the healing and get scanned for the replacement tooth.
