I had to wait in the chair for a very long time after the cleaning to speak with the doctor (so long I had to make calls to cancel things and make alternate arrangements for my kids). When the dentist finally came in, she started a conversation about the high costs of running a dental practice?!? (We had only met one time before this). She then seemed shocked when she presented her very elaborate plan to me and I responded with "yes, lets please start with the most urgent and space treatment out because cost is a very serious concern and barrier". she then sent her hygienist in to ask me if I wanted veneers!!!!!! months later, a $500 bill arrived..... that did not at all match any of the estimates and promises I had been given for a simple cleaning and xrays. now that I am here looking through other reviews, I see that this is something other patients have experienced as well. truly unfortunate since it is a nice office with a great premise.

That's how you know this business and the team really care about their patients and see them and respect them as real people. Now, I can't imagine going anywhere else. The entire experience is a pleasure, something I imagine many don't say about the dentist. From check in and the friendly receptionist/admin team, to the hygienists and Dr. Brenney, I've never had a more painless experience at the dentist. The friendliness is a welcome respite from how loaded everything feels (literally) outside and the staff truly seems engaged and interested in your life. The first dentist I had gone to wanted to pull 5 teeth and give me a root canal as I hadn't been to the dentist in years. Dr. McGill was able to save my teeth! I only had one pulled, and I will be getting an implant and she didn't need to do a root canal, just a filling. She likes to save teeth! I was also attracted by the fact that they offer later appointments (after 4 PM), which helps so that I do not have to burn up my PTO. From start to finish, I had a phenomenal experience. At first, I was having more issues with my insurance, but the benefits coordinator was patient and focused on addressing the issue. I started with X-ray scans and photos of my mouth with the problem managed. My time with Dr. Ibrahim was fabulous. She actively listened to my concerns, gave good advice for flossing, and provided good conversation even when working on my fillings and cleaning. Dr. Ibrahim identified two small cavities in my mouth and was willing to stay later to fill them (so I would not have to come back in for the filling procedure to be completed). I typically do not like just anyone working with my mouth (I have had dental issues throughout my entire life), but the staff was professional and courteous. I genuinely look forward to seeing them again in 6 months. I was excited that they could work with my night guard (readjusting), offer Invisalign, and create crowns in practice--finally, shout-out to the fact that they provide blankets for us cold folk in the office. From Laura and Heather in the front office, to Dr Engstrand (Gordy) himself, we felt incredibly cared for. It felt like we were family, in fact.
