When he was free, he checked on me to see if I needed help with anything. I was looking to purchase some 12 gauge shotgun, slug ammo. The guy behind the counter was the owner, Glen. We got chatting about a particular firearm my wife is interested in. He showed a few options, was super knowledgeable, not pushy at all. It was a great first visit and definitely a place I look forward to returning to in the future. Clean, bright, well stocked, ample parking, reasonably priced, easy to get to from just about anywhere and a knowledgeable owner... a real recipe for success! Might just be my new go to gun shop! Paula was incredible! So patient, clear, supportive and warm. She was the perfect instructor and we learned so much from her knowledge and approach. Speaking of warm, it was FREEZING when we went, snow on the ground, the whole 9. No problem for us because Orvis lights fire pits in winter right by your individual shooting sites! The clay shooting itself is very fun and challenging. Our instructor Paula gave us great tips on hitting the target, gun safety and usage. She was an outstanding teacher! We absolutely loved this entire experience and plan to go back once per season.

I am not impressed with the hunting side of the store. Every time I go in there I find the employees to be condescending, especially to women. They are dismissive and don't ask any questions to help you make the right selection. It is very frustrating. I took some friends there recently and we ended up leaving and going to another store where we made a purchase. I find it confusing that this community would not be more welcoming, but maybe it is just the employees at Quattros hunting store. They have a pretty good selection of goods, but are quite overpriced, and do charge for credit card use. I would not go back and would recommend steering clear if you can avoid it.
