today i called Arlington Exchange and spoke to a employee named chris to find out if they buy pure silver, he said yes and to bring it in and i said i will be in later today. my girlfriend and i arrive around 5:30pm today and see chris and we show him the items, he said to wait for the other person to finish a call., we agreed.A short time later while still on the phone with a customer he looks at items fast and tosses out a offer and i kindly say no thank you and he tosses out another offer very fast with attitude and again i kindly say no thank you. He then gets upset and says GOOD BYE and waves his hand at us and i ask him why he is so rude in a calm and normal tone , HE losses his temper completely and starts yelling at me SAYING YO BRO , YO BROTHER im on the phone give me a min., i calmly state its better to take care of one customer at a time and he lost it,again calling me a asshole , f, you, f off, you a asshole f off,f you.as we calmly walkout the door. he then faces the window and looks at us and continues to call names and use harsh profanity towards us. we felt profiled as well as verbally harrast which is not the way to do business or conduct themselves respectfully to customers. so as a registered BBB member i reported then so it will not happen to anyone else as well as to better the customer service and treatment of customers in the store no matter the who they me be. so i Strongly do not recommend anyone to do business with them until they improve. read more

I remember stopping by in December, I was new to the neighborhood so I was just getting accustomed to what was around me. I entered the shop and it just made me all of a sudden feel so comfortable, it wasn't a huge place but it reminded me back to my dad's shop in St. Louis. There i met the owner who if i recall correctly his name was Nick. Nick and I began talking and he took time out of his day to welcome me and reached out to me should I ever need anything. Two months go by and my wife and I decided to go to Arlington Exchange where we met Nick and see what they'd be able to give us for a watch of mine and a necklace of my wives. We've looked around to places in the past but never saw a reason to sell it especially because we weren't given the right offer. We stop in, Nick greets us the same as he first did, we show nick the Jewelry and he checks it out and gave us the best offer we've ever been given. It wasn't even only for that we decided to sell to Nick, but because he truly is a great man and runs a great shop. The workers there are also very welcoming and helpful. Nick didn't have to take time out of his day for he could've just said "sorry i am busy at the moment" but instead welcomed me in a manner i'd never forget.
