In just a short time, my daughter went from knowing nothing about swimming and being nervous to even put her face in the water to confidently swimming from one end of the pool to the other. At only 2 1/2 years old, she can now hold her breath underwater for a long stretch and even jump in the pool and swim across, which is something I never imagined she'd be doing this soon. What I appreciate most is Ms. Dianna's gentle approach and the way she met my daughter where she was at. She truly understands how to encourage progress without pressure, and the results speak for themselves. We currently have all three of our children enrolled, and they happily go into class without any tears. They've made tremendous progress in a short amount of time, and it's been wonderful watching their confidence grow in the water. Teacher Jenny nurtured my baby into a confident, water-loving swimmer before she even turned 3! Jenny has had great insights on how to encourage my daughter in her skills (as well as patience for toddler attitudes, haha). Thanks, Jenny! Let me elaborate: the weights are not racked in order; there's heavier weights on the top shelf and all the dumbbells are scattered miscellaneously. I've p racked BOTH weight racks three times now and truly it's disappointing to have the community not re rack it correctly. The first time I re racked it was because I noticed a child, elementary school I'm assuming, was trying to grab the 40lb on the TOP rack. ... yes ofc I brought this up to the front desk and even prefaced it with this case. No, I didn't want to be THAT person who pointed it out but it really is dangerous. They responded saying they'll keep an eye for it but can't help it bc members are the ones who mess it up. &that they'll ask the director to put up a sign...we'll see if that happens or not.. To the teenagers who were throwing and kicking the weights, please don't. It was such a scary Thursday since I was pretty close to them. Even though there are signs with phone courtesy etiquette, it's still ignored by grown men who blast their music. Overall, avoid the weight room. If it wasn't for the monthly price and proximity I would not come.

However, the billing and makeup policies are extremely frustrating. The biggest issue is that you are still charged for classes when the facility is closed for holidays. Instead of a refund or adjustment, they offer a makeup token. The problem is that the makeup system is very difficult to use in practice. You can only book within 6 days, availability is limited, and there's no guarantee you'll get a time that works. For families like ours who rely on weekend classes, it's especially challenging. On top of that, we were only notified about the Easter closure the day before, which didn't give us any real opportunity to plan around it. Because of all of this, we've ended up paying for classes that were never held and that we realistically couldn't make up. That doesn't feel fair. We've had a great experience with the instructor, but the policies make it hard to recommend overall.

We went to the lifting section on the first floor and all the machines and weights are pretty modern and well kept. I also love how there's a recovery room that's included in your membership. The cryo chairs and compression boots are really nice. Their adjacent food stall, I think Local Kitchens is also pretty delicious! Can order on doordash for pick up ahead of it which is convenient. I was only there for about 1.5 hours so I didn't get to use all the amenities, but you could easily spend an entire day here. There are some areas where I thought maintenance/cleanliness could be better kept, especially for the steep price and the WiFi was frequently spotty, but otherwise, a really nice spot!

They have the good office chairs in the Touchdown rooms; they should have it everywhere. We pay too much to not be comfortable and at regular level height. Womens Restroom area- They should have a proper lounge area somewhere in the area even if its just a small seating area to relax in after a sauna session or pool. The SF location has a nice seating area with a TV and there is also a quiet room where you can lay down. This location should think about adding this in there. Much needed. The workout classes they have are great and pool jacuzzi area is great! They should do monthly food events or other type of freebee things for the members here. As much as the membership is here, more needs to be done for members. Itll be a nice touch for sure.

Then we were charged for the next month. And the second lesson on the June was cancelled. And first two lessons in July are cancelled. And they have no return. We'll receive "tokens" which we have to spend during the month. But I have no another time for lessons. So, they just took money and gave nothing back. Where good business.

Part of that was likely due to her being afraid of the water when she started at age 4, limited individual attention in a 30-minute group class, and not practicing much outside of the weekly lesson. Teacher turnover does seem a bit high. That said, once we switched to more experienced instructors who gave immediate feedback and corrections, my daughter's swimming improved a lot over the past year. Her age and increased confidence probably helped too. On the plus side, my child made the swim team this year, so overall the lessons have definitely been effective--it just took some time to get there.
