Britland provides excellent work and excellent customer service. Have had two interactions with them, both exemplary. The first one was for a minor repair to my car due to a bike rack falling in our garage and damaging the lift gate of my SUV. Their entire process of providing a clear, understandable estimate to booking to completion of work is efficient and professional. The cost was very reasonable, as well. The work was flawless. Most recently, I sent my husband in to see about fixing a spot on his brand new truck after he rubbed against a cement pylon in a parking garage. The folks at Britland gave him an estimate but said he'd probably be better off just letting them buff out the rub marks and putting some clearcoat to ensure no rust would occur since it didn't seem to have gotten down to the metal. And they didn't even charge him for buffing out the marks!! They offered excellent advice that allowed him to make a decision about whether he wanted to repair an adjacent plastic part. I brought my truck over to Britland to get some hail dent damage fixed. I have a leased truck and these were dents I didn't want to worry about when it's time to turn the truck in next year. My BIL confirmed this spot was good to go. Getting an appt to get the truck in was pretty easy. They explained the (covid) process and it sounded pretty seamless. There was another of a hiccup on what they were telling me to do versus what my car insurance was telling me they (Britland) had to go. Ultimately, I asked the insurance company to speak with the shop and it was all sorted out. The day of the drop off , I pulled up and walked in (masks required). I immediately noticed the plexi barriers in front of each desk, and hand sanitizer at the main front desk. They had my paperwork and within a few mins, I was out the door and my husband was outside to pick me up. The truck was done in a few days and I really did appreciate the call I received (voicemail) updating me on progress and when the truck was expected to be ready. I was in a car accident and my insurance recommended Britland for the repairs, which was fine. I had an 11am appointment for an estimate, but never got a phone or email confirmation afterwards. When I showed up, the woman at the front desk said my appointment was actually for 10am. However, no one ever called me to confirm my appointment or ask where I was when 10am rolled around. Also, the people who work here are rude. They act like you're inconveniencing them by having them do their job... the one they get paid to do. Instead of telling me nicely that I'd have to leave my car, the woman I dealt with said, "You know you're leaving your car right?" in a rude and condescending way. The whole ordeal was so uncomfortable I would absolutely never recommend going there. I have half a mind to call my insurance company and tell them they're referring people to a shop that doesn't value customer service whatsoever. Also, the repairs take a long time. My estimate was on a Thursday and they said they'd probably get the estimate written up and sent out by next WEDNESDAY. So they can't even start working on my car for a week to a week and a half. They truly do not care about the customer experience and it's going to hurt them in the long run. read more

Great customer service! Clean and nice wait area and free coffee too. Fixed my car like factory new. They will hand over your car clean too, washed and shiny. Though there were some white paint residue i noticed after a few days i got my car, emailed them with pictures, then went it, fixed and cleaned it up with no questions asked. Now that's warranty and quality assurance of their work. Email them with pictures and they will reply to you promptly and most of the time it is easier to explain and get an estimated quote based from the pictures. Be nice too. I've had a long string of bad luck, pretty much since the day I got my driver's license ten years ago. I am a magnet for terrible drivers, resulting in a lot of need for body work to three different vehicles over the years. I've used Britland for at least five of these occasions, and every time the service is better and better. From minimal body work, to replacing a significant amount of mechanics, I have always received my cars back in prime condition, and have never had to follow up with an issue or a complaint-- my vehicles always run and look like new. It's pretty rare to find a company that is constantly improving in a customer-centric way, and Britland is it. On June 23rd I was rear-ended pretty hard, and on June 25th I brought my car in for an estimate. The work was completed yesterday-- July 2nd! Throughout the week, I had calls with updates and estimates for when my vehicle would be finished. They arranged for a rental car company to pick me up at their shop, and have dealt directly with my insurance company, taking the stress off me. The only place I have ever had such a painless and quality experience is Britland, and that is why my parents and I all continue to use them, even now that I live over an hour away. I brought my car in after a recommendation from a friend as I thought I had a simple panel that needed to be replaced after a pole jumped in front of my car. Little did I know, I damaged more than I anticipated but Britland took care of it and explained how and what they were looking for when they were fixing my car. The woman at the front desk, Jennifer, was incredibly helpful and took care of me as I had never required body work to be done on my car or require a car rental. As soon as I walked in, she called Enterprise to pick me up, and took care of everything for me. Even the Enterprise man who picked me up was telling me about the great work Britland does. I'm extremely happy about the service I received, and my car looked better then when I dropped it off in more ways then one as they had it detailed for me !!! thanks guys ! This is just an ordinary small auto shop nothing stands out. It's not a full service, very inconvenient .

When I arrived I was greeted by a very pleasant lady She had me filled out some information on a cool screen and waited about 5 minutes before Ken called me. Ken was also extremely pleasant I explained I only had an issue with a fog light which had dislodged and was sitting in the lower bumper enclosure. I was not able or sure how to get to it or how to put it back or it was even broken. Ken talked to another fellow then advised me they would try to fix it and if it did not take too much time there would be no charge. Twenty minutes later there was my car Jeep all fixed and no charge. Who does things like that today, very pleased and next time I have any cars that need autobody work this is where I will come. One of our comapny vans was hit by a deer and since we used Britland in Green Brook previously for our company vechicle with a good experience, we decided to use them again. This experience unfortunetly, was not as pleasant. I'm giving them a 2 solely because they are unable to get the communication correct. Multiple times the told us the van was ready, only to find it was not. I confirmed and reconfirmed this with Erin and had 2 of my electricians arrive one morning to have them turned away because the parts were still on the floor and in boxes. To me this is unacceptable when you are tryign to run a business. We lost 2 men for 2-3 hours as a result. I asked to speak to a manager and I spoke to chris who apoligized. I asked for a discount of $100 because of wasting labor time for 3 hours for 2 electricians but they gave us $30 off. The repair does look great but I would not use them again in the future before of the above issue. read more

Worst experience ever!!!! From the start (Adam) our estimator told us we shouldn't have had an appointment given to us at 4:30pm and from that point on was in a rush. Next he treated us like we were doing insurance fraud when I had a legitimate claim. Next he didn't want a quote us certain repairs because he didn't think we could pay it. Then he said he would send a quote to us by email, but he never did. Once we called him back(that was a mistake) gave us more attitude. Several weeks ago, a tree limb fell on my Silverado SS. It hit the top of the rear door and dented it badly- almost enough to separate the glass of the rear window. I had recently had a bad experience with a competing body shop just across the street, so I was under the impression all body shops operated the way this other one did. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by Adam. Adam has the kind of amazing personality that immediately makes you feel comfortable. I had already files a claim and had an appraisal, so I gave him the claim number, and within 5 minutes he has a copy of the appraisal in his hand. He scheduled my repair for the first available date, sent me an email and left me a VM the day before as a reminder, and kept me informed almost daily as to the progress of the repair. Upon disassembly, there were some additional findings that warranted more repair work, so he got in touch with my insurance company, and proceeded with the work. He also let me know that they would blend the paint into the adjacent body panels so the match would be better (something I always believed was only done on high end cars). When I received the vehicle, the body work and paint job left the vehicle looking better than it did the day it rolled off the showroom floor. In short- I am extremely pleased with the quality of the work, as well as with the high level of customer service and genuine interest in customer satisfaction.
