After my first appointment, I intentionally started booking with other estheticians at this location, and those experiences were excellent. I never had any issues with pain or my skin. This time, I didn't realize I had been assigned to Emillee again. During the waxing, I repeatedly asked her to be gentler because the pain was unbearable, but she continued anyway. The experience was extremely painful, and afterward my skin developed blisters. I've had waxing done many times before, including by other staff at this location, and I've never experienced anything like this. Throughout the appointment, she repeatedly commented that I had darker skin and darker hair. Those comments made me feel very uncomfortable and singled out. I also noticed her adding something to the wax during the appointment, although I wasn't told what it was. In addition, wax was spilled on both the floor and the table, making the entire appointment feel disorganized and unprofessional. During the service, I told her how much pain I was in and warned that I would consider taking legal action if my skin was injured because I felt my concerns were being ignored. Despite that, the service continued without any noticeable adjustment. Overall, this was one of the worst waxing experiences I've ever had. Based on my experience, I would not book with Emillee again.

I booked two back-to-back appointments for my mother and I on their booking website since it wasn't possible to book two at the same time, but Crystal texted me and asked me whether I would like to have them done at the same time by her and her sister Stephanie. At the end of the facial, she told me that in the future I would be able to text her if I'd like to book another simultaneous appointment. They also offer loyalty stamp cards, with every 10 visits you get a 50% discount on any service. Very considerate of her! As for my experience with the facial itself, I loved it. Crystal worked on my skin, while Stephanie worked on my mother's. I have very acne-prone skin, so Crystal did gentle hydro exfoliation and extractions around my nose & troubled areas before putting a rose hydrojelly mask on my skin to calm it down. Normally, extractions bring me to tears. It genuinely gets so horrible for me that if there's a tissue put above my eyes, it will become wet. However, Crystal applied minimal pressure and at the end, I was impressed that she got out all of my blackheads and whiteheads without me feeling as much pain as I had in other locations! Crystal told me that their products are based in fruit enzymes (cherries, pumpkins, apple, etc). I can't speak for my mother who received an anti-aging facial, but I can say that she fell asleep mid-facial because it was just that relaxing!
