We got a salad and the chicken tenders and they were okay as well. Cocktails were cheap enough but not made very well and not much liquor in them. Britton Tavern is hands-down one of my favorite local go-to spots. The food and drinks are consistently great, and the vibe is super relaxed. It's the kind of place where my friends and I can chill, watch sports, and just enjoy ourselves without any of that "upscale" pressure--which is exactly why we love it. Weekends are a blast too. The live music on Fridays and Saturdays always brings a fun energy, and the crowd is usually vibing right along with it. Also--shoutout to discounted billiards on Mondays! Recently moved to Noblesville, and were looking for a neighborhood bar to hang at, watch football, and eat & drink regularly. The first time, we went in on a Saturday afternoon, and sat there for 10 minutes without a single person acknowledging us - there was practically nobody else in the place at the time; so not busy, and ended up walking out. We decided to give it ONE more try, and went in on a Sunday to watch some football. Definitely wasn't crazy busy (again), sat at a table (again), and once AGAIN - not a single person came over. Hubby and I stopped into Britton Tavern today after three years of living in the area and I have to say, wow. It was a one off for us, both out for lunch under unusual circumstances and have driven by for some time but never stopped. The one man show was probably one of the best servers we have ever had. He was on point, attentive, courteous and timely. Today was 10/13/25 so in case management sees this, that's your guy. We had fried mushrooms, potato skins, lamb gyro and a Cuban. All good, all hot, and all as ordered. 100% repeat offenders on our parts. Will prob make this spot a new regular stop. We have always loved Britton Tavern. My family and I have always gone there for the good music, great food and love the environment, until we had our unfortunate last night. We started off at a table with a great waitress, great live music. Then we went to play darts, and we got another waitress. From the beginning, we felt like we always annoyed her, anything we asked was an issue. Towards the end of the night, the waitress Kenzie came over and explain her shift was ending so she wanted us to close our tab out. One of my brothers simply asked if he could have one more high noon, and she proceeded to ask how many he already had. Mind you, we have been playing darts for a couple hours, having a blast, listening to music, and enjoying the night. My oldest brother, simply asked why does that matter. Kenzie proceeded to state "well, you guys have been rude all night". As one of the sober adults there, I can assure you that wasn't the issue. After some conversation, we decided to close out to prevent further issues. After 10mins, the bouncers came up and stated we need to leave. After explaining what had happened, the bouncers proceeded to apologize to us and hope we would come back at another time. We had been there since 8:30pm, and were kicked out at 12:30am. Again, we have always loved Britton Tavern, but after that, we will never be back. Kenzie did not once laugh, smile, or even show appreciation to her job or her customers. My family was raised on being polite, have a fun time, and always treat everybody how you would want to be treated. We were never once rude, belligerent, or even close to being a problem. Kenzie should learn how to enjoy her job more. The fact of the matter, when we were at a table listening to live music, we tipped our waitress more than average because of her great attitude, service, and company. Kenzie was the epitome of service in the bartending excellence. We will never be going back. I would even go as far as having the manager or owner give me a personal call to discuss this further. First time in Britton Tavern. We were on our way to a concert at Ruoff and we were catching the shuttle at Britton. They had some beer and drink specials and my friend had a tall draft beer for 4 bucks, what a bargain. I opted for a couple of cocktails off of their menu. I tried the Peach Beach ($7) and the New Fashioned ($8). I liked both of them but the New Fashioned packed a good punch and I would definitely order it again. I ordered the tachos with chicken as my choice of meat and they put everything on it. This plate came and there was plenty of food to eat and the flavors were like a typical Nacho plate except for tater tots on the bottom. It was good and filling. My friend had the Buffalo quesadilla and she said it had plenty of meat in it and it was very tasty. The service was good our waitress Laurel took care of all we needed. Came here last night to meet up with some friends when we were in town the day before Thanksgiving. I was surprised at how big this place was once we walked inside. It didn't look that big when we were driving into the strip mall. Lots of TVs, several pool tables, two electronic dart boards, and two pull-tab games on the side for your entertainment. There are drink specials and events every night, and I got my bottles of Coors Light for only $3 each, woot! Wednesday's supposed to be Team Bingo night, but they didn't have it for some reason. Gosh darn it. But they had a fabulous Big 80's cover band that started playing at 9 pm and went strong all night long. Several people were dancing their hearts out on the dance floor in front of the stage. The food looked really good, but I didn't get to try any because I already ate dinner before coming. The tater tot nachos looked really good, never seen fully loaded tots before. We got there around 7 pm, and it was about half empty, but then people kept coming, and the place was packed when we left at midnight. I did notice more dudes than girls here, but it seemed more like place for friends to meet up and hang out, so the atmosphere seemed ok. read more

My friends had talked about Britton Tavern for quite a while and this was my first dining experience at the restaurant. I was very impressed with the ambiance and the pool tables and live music. However, I was not impressed with the service. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich grilled with tater tots for dinner. The sandwich was OK and delicious, and the tater tots were great. The craft beer list was good and enjoyed my hazy IPA. Our server appeared to have an attitude the entire time she waited on us , and did not smile once. I asked for a water from her several times and never received it. It appears she was not having a good night or did not want to be there, but as a server, you have to suck it up and be professional and courteous to customers no matter what you may be going through that night. I did give her a decent tip because I felt bad for her, but honestly, I should not have given her a good tip at all because of her demeanor and professionalism. The management needs to retrain the entire server staff on customer service because this is not acceptable. You've unknowingly passed this place dozens of times if you live in Noblesville or Fishers. You may even have gotten perilously close if you have bought running shoes or a goldfish recently. I would encourage you to turn into this strip mall and drive past all the other establishments until you reach Britton Tavern. I'm not sure what the equation is; there are other places that have pool tables, juke boxes, pull-tab machines, and even live music. But this place just has a vibe that is authentic. Not only will your beer arrive cold and fast, but you also get to have food that is surprisingly good for a strip mall bar. In fact, you will be hard pressed to find the level of effort the kitchen puts into that food at any other bar within miles. Now I'm not saying that they are serving filet and asparagus, but they hand-bread their chicken strips. There are restaurants that bill themselves as upscale that don't do that. And the southwestern egg rolls taste like all the ingredients came off the farm that day. Bravo to whoever is working back there. And they have these cool tables made from barrels, so there's that. We stopped in to see an amazing band we knew from Joe's Westfield. Very few people there in their huge space-- it was a slow night. However, a security guard - a caveman like dimwit (with horrendous breath btw) --approached me twice on the dance floor while dance music was playing and gave me the good ole "you need to calm down with your dancing". What house rule is this?? I said, " im in control of my moves-- can you read my gear reading "Dance Team Instructor"? Rotglmao. Wish this could be better but it's just not. Our team made it into the state finals for the IN LIVE Trivia game. The finals were held here. We get to the venue and it's packed, like wall to wall people. Not just the trivia, but people who are there to watch some games. I get it, but this is in the middle of a pandemic, be smart! Our table is in the corner tucked away, but about 5 feet from the kitchen and the bar. We had to wait for 120 minutes before we could get any service. Only after going to the bar to get some beers were we acknowledged. There were 4 other teams within a table of us that all got service, yet the wait staff would just look at us and walk on by. YOU placed the damn table there, NOT us, WE didn't pick the table, you assigned it to us. Beer is luke warm, not even close to cold, i'd guess, 50 degrees. Needless to say as soon as we got the beers we kind of had to drink them fast or they would be really warm...fast. After another 2 hours we are very hungry, so we again get up to ask for a menu. (which we had to go to the bar to get) The menu looks like they have some decent food, and from what I saw, the pizza looked really good. (at other tables) but nobody came over to see if we wanted to order any food until the trivia contest was on the final question, which frankly was 1 hour too late. I get that it was busy, but you had a table of 4 that wanted to drink more, wanted to eat and we were never even given the opportunity to do either. If you are going to host a event like this, why not make sure it's staffed? Why not make sure everybody is having a good time? Why not make sure everybody is given the opportunity to have what is offered? Why not make sure everybody is felt welcomed, not thrown in a corner like a trash basket and never looked at for the entire day??!!! Just really disappointing, and when we are back in the area we will NOT be back nor will this be a place i'll ever recommend! After the event the place cleared out, we wanted to eat, ended up going to another place for food and drinks. They were more then happy to serve us and take our money. Other then becoming the INDIANA STATE TRIVIA CHAMPIONS (yep, we won the whole thing) that was the only good thing about this place. Hopefully they find a better venue that values every customer for the next final event as how we were treated was just not right, and once again, YOU set the table up, not us, this is all on Britton Tavern of Fishers IN! Bread sticks with cheese are great! Service can be hit or miss on how fast they take care of you. But overall was good, as we were shooting pool and in no rush. Friday night was my first time visiting, and it certainly won't be my last. I arrived to hear a local band that was playing, and decided to give the breaded tenderloin a try. It was fantastic! The size was just right--a hearty sandwich, not pounded out to hubcap size. The meat was moist and tender, and the breading had a satisfying crunch. Tater tots as a side option were a nice touch--I wish more restaurants would offer that! My wife got a Cobb salad and raved about it. Our server (who's name I failed to remember) was prompt and friendly, and checked on us periodically throughout the event to make sure we had drinks. Great food, great service, and live music.
