Stopped by randomly on the way home from shopping. We aren't in this part of town often. Ordered the dinner burger and waffles fries. Delicious! Fries were super crispy. Only drawback was everything was a bit slow. Will definitely stop by next time we are nearby

First time here and we showed up during trivia night. What a fun time. Food was good but our service was great. Somehow our waiter Scott was able to remember our orders without writing down a thing! Now that's a skill. I ordered the 12 wings and I was able to get half Sweet Thai Chili and Buffalo Bbq. Both were delicious. Music was good and all the TVs had a good game.

I've been here a couple times. The bartender was very nice and on the spot. I had the starter caesar and wings. The Caesar was good, not over-dressed. The wings could have been crispier but they were big and meaty. I had the buffalo BBQ. It's alright. I would probably choose a different sauce next time and ask for the wings to be well done. Blue cheese for dipping is great.

    Peach Beach and draft beer

First time in Britton Tavern. We were on our way to a concert at Ruoff and we were catching the shuttle at Britton. They had some beer and drink specials and my friend had a tall draft beer for 4 bucks, what a bargain. I opted for a couple of cocktails off of their menu. I tried the Peach Beach ($7) and the New Fashioned ($8). I liked both of them but the New Fashioned packed a good punch and I would definitely order it again. I ordered the tachos with chicken as my choice of meat and they put everything on it. This plate came and there was plenty of food to eat and the flavors were like a typical Nacho plate except for tater tots on the bottom. It was good and filling. My friend had the Buffalo quesadilla and she said it had plenty of meat in it and it was very tasty. The service was good our waitress Laurel took care of all we needed. We are going to go back and try a different dish next time.

Big 80's band playing the day before Thanksgiving!

Came here last night to meet up with some friends when we were in town the day before Thanksgiving. I was surprised at how big this place was once we walked inside. It didn't look that big when we were driving into the strip mall. Lots of TVs, several pool tables, two electronic dart boards, and two pull-tab games on the side for your entertainment. There are drink specials and events every night, and I got my bottles of Coors Light for only $3 each, woot! Wednesday's supposed to be Team Bingo night, but they didn't have it for some reason. Gosh darn it. But they had a fabulous Big 80's cover band that started playing at 9 pm and went strong all night long. Several people were dancing their hearts out on the dance floor in front of the stage. The food looked really good, but I didn't get to try any because I already ate dinner before coming. The tater tot nachos looked really good, never seen fully loaded tots before. We got there around 7 pm, and it was about half empty, but then people kept coming, and the place was packed when we left at midnight. I did notice more dudes than girls here, but it seemed more like place for friends to meet up and hang out, so the atmosphere seemed ok.

Go someplace else for food. I ordered a cheeseburger well done and it was raw. There are much much better places to eat in the area.

The alligator bites were crispy and not chewy. The espresso martini had a great coffee flavor with a hint of sweetness that not only quenched my thirst but served as my dessert as well.

Since I had never been there before, I politely asked the manager for more information. He was very rude and acted frustrated that I had even asked, saying, "Don't you see? Just get a table that's open." I looked around and did not see any available tables, so I asked another employee for help. She was also dismissive and basically told me the same thing: just find an open table. I was the one trying to get information for the rest of my group, and instead of being helpful or welcoming, two employees made me feel like I was bothering them. After that, I laughed, left, and took everyone to another bar where the staff were much friendlier. This was a terrible first impression and very poor customer service. I will not be back.

Turns out the entire heated patio is first come, first served, and we were seated almost immediately. It was one of those windy Indiana afternoons where the cold finds every gap in your jacket. I fully expected to spend lunch shivering. Somehow, the heated patio felt warmer than the restaurant itself. Between the TVs, football on every screen, and the patio heaters, we had zero complaints. Now let's talk about the famous pepperoni-stuffed breadsticks. They're a must. And order your own nacho cheese. Seriously. Don't expect anyone to share. I could eat a shoe dipped in their cheese and probably enjoy every bite. The breadsticks always arrive piping hot, stuffed with gooey mozzarella, and if we're judging on a cheese-pull scale...I'm giving them a solid 7/10 on the stretch meter. As for our server, Zach...what a true gem. He's one of those people I'd honestly be surprised to hear anyone say they didn't like. Funny, quick with the jokes, and somehow kept up with the chaos without missing a beat. He also made sure my lemon drop martinis never had a chance to get lonely. Since I wasn't driving, he happily assisted me in...staying hydrated. The place was busy enough that we couldn't stand around chatting long, but he's the kind of person you'd genuinely enjoy running into again. We've been here twice now, and both visits have been consistently great. Whether you're stopping in to catch the game, escape the cold on the heated patio, or simply satisfy a craving for those ridiculously good breadsticks, Ale Emporium continues to be one of our favorite spots. Just don't skip the breadsticks...and trust me, order your own cheese. You'll understand after the first bite.
