Great place for a beer with friends. They are so creative with their flavors and the beers are amazing.

Just what the doctor ordered ! Little Ferry may be known for many things but beer isn't one of them - Bergen County NEEDED a place like this. Fresh, cheap, delicious beer all. Friendly staff and cool ambiance. Not overly crowded but the seating area is quite small. Perhaps if word gets out and more people become aware of this hidden gem they'll invest in an expansion. Really nice tap room with friend friendly staff. The selection of IPAs was great, particularly liked the Wall of a Sound. They've got a bunch of barrels aging which is very exciting. They were also happy to recommend other nearby breweries. read more

This is a worthy entry into the land of small craft breweries. I wandered in near closing time for a nightcap and had the porter. It was a bit thin, but deep on flavor. The other Yelpers I was with raved about their beer selections. The ambiance is spartan and they did not appear to offer food. On the other hand, they have a nice rotation of beers and an extensive growler program. It would probably take some sort of nosh menu to draw me back in here, but I would definitely try their other beers if I saw them on tap. read more

This place is a total ripoff in that most of their pours are only 8oz yet they charge full price of $7. Almost all breweries provide 16oz pours for a $7 to $8 range. Beer quality is ok. Guess they have no nearby competition so they can get away with this. read more

I first had a Brix beer at the Devils game and fell in love! I knew I had to go visit the brewery myself and check it out. While I was there I got to try a bunch of their beers but my favorite was definitely the Porter Authority. The owner Joseph introduced himself and we were led on a tour of the facility. They are constantly coming up with new brews leaving people lining up for their release dates. We will definitely be returning! read more

I had no idea this place even existed until I was scoping out local breweries on Yelp. It's tucked away in a little office building type area; sometimes I prefer these lesser known places since it's a good way to avoid the crowds. There's a super laid back vibe, with cool wall decor and picnic tables scattered throughout. Service was quick and the beers were excellent. I believe they also offer tours, but didn't check out that option on my first visit. If you're into the beers, they also sell whatever's on tap. Can't beat it. No food, or kitchen, but they often have a BBQ food truck outside and allow patrons to bring in outside food. Oh, and it's dog friendly! Who doesn't love that? read more

Grew up in NJ. Left before the craft beer craz started. Have been searching for good beer made in Jersey and have been really disappointed, until today! Stopped in to try their brews. Pretty standard tap room. Kettles visible on the side. 6 picnic tables. Long bar with no stools. Loud different jazzy music. Bartender was friendly and helpful. I didn't like the pale ale. But the Gloria Belgian Blonde and the Tasty Jams were delicious. I tried the Just Another IPA and I was not impressed. No food, but no reason not to bring some in. Glad I stopped in. Off Route 46, behind the Starbucks, in Little Ferry, lies a gem. 8 beers on tap, ranging from just above 4% alcohol up to almost 9%. The flavors and styles extremely diverse. I really liked the KIK (Kill the King, a decree aimed at those bitches in St. Louis), The St. Stephen's saison is light and flavorful, and the Chuck Bowman almost has a malty sweetness to it. Either way try them all, $2 per tasting portion. They also fill growlers, BYOG or buy 1 or ten The staff is friendly, the space is open, not too loud. It was surprisingly cool considering how hot it was outside. There are picnic tables everywhere, you're encouraged to bring your own food (local pizzerias deliver). They do serve some chips to cleanse the palate. They offer tours if you're intereseted. I highly recommend checking it out, great addition to Bergen County. Drink LOCAL!! read more

Such an awesome little brewery/taproom! Eight beers on tap and flights of four to choose from. It's off the beaten path, but it should definitely be on everyone's list of places to try. The owners are probably the friendliest people you'll ever meet and they really make everyone feel welcome there. Great tasting beer and great prices. A lot of the beers are also named after the things in the area; like their Porter Authority and Brews Willis. read more

Went there tonight (Friday) was looking forward to it, with my wife. We had some food, so I told my wife to have a seat as I would get us what we both enjoy to drink(Gloria Blond) Two people tending the bar, had someone ahead of me ordering, to go. I tried getting the other fella's attention but he was too busy ignoring me and looking for T-shirts. So, the other guy, completed the order to go, he gets his tip and walks away, as if I was never there. I tried getting his attention and no help. (Approx 15 mins, I waited) totally not acceptable, I walked and told my wife, I'm done. Left the place. Although I enjoy the beer, I will never go back, my time is priceless and when someone doesn't respect that, I'm done. read more

Warning: This is definitely a biased review. [But also not.] First craft brewery in Bergen County. Makes my heart so happy having lived here my whole life. I'll keep it simple. Because that's what it is and what I love about it. Beer names with NJ-related and misc puns. Extremely fair pricing. Delicious and fresh beer. You can bring your own food in, and sometimes there's a smoked meat cart vendor outside with some of the most amazing kielbasa. Only downsides are that it could use more tables|seating, and it just closes too dam early and isn't open more days of the week. Like all of them. Which I can understand for being a small production site, but pleeease that would be awesome. kthx Customer service sometimes lets you stay past hours until 11pm. Decent brews, easy on the wallet. Kind of small and the bar seemed understaffed for the amount of people there (rather than get their beer and move, people stayed at the bar, creating a wall so that it was tough for someone that just got there to order) so service was kind of slow. They also could probably use the space better in terms of adding more tables. The walls present a history of brewing in the Newark, NJ area - would have made more sense if the brewery was in Newark. Still, the history was quite interesting. Decent amount of street parking. Pretty easy to find. Overall a pretty good experience and I'd probably go back. read more

Awesome brewery to check out! I've been a handful of times with my boyfriend and we usually get flights to try different brews. Just another IPA has been my favorite for awhile. The flights are only 8$ and they also sell growlers and cans to take home. The owner is very nice and gave us a little tour the first time we went. The rest of the staff is always very friendly and helpful. There's a few large benches to sit down on the side but it's not that big. We usually go during the week at night so it's never been an issue to find a spot to sit and parking is decent. All in all, a great spot to check out! read more

I came here after rave reviews from friends (thanks for the recommendation, Christine G.!) and was so glad I finally got to check out the place! What better way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon?! The boo and I arrived thirsty. Ordering was a breeze. We opted to do two tastings ($8ea for four 2oz tastings) - I got the Just Another IPA (my fave), Gloria Belgian Blonde (second fave), Just Another D.IPA, and the Cheap Labor Pale Ale. I forget which ones he got, but they were all dark minus the Belgian Blonde. We/he didn't like two of the ones he got, and they had no problem swapping them out for another two. The place is super chill - communal seating and you can bring your own food (or have it delivered). I can see mysylf easily spending hours here on a Saturday. read more

We live in Little Ferry, so this is fantastic! We were able to walk here. Double IPA was refreshing, smooth, with a kick of citrus. Chuck Bowman black IPA was deliciously rich and coffee-esque. Table IPA was my favorite, perfect for the magical season between summer and fall, and tart (think grapefruit). BF loved the Belgian Blonde "Gloria." Porter Authority: Rich and smokey. Other IPAs were delicious, too. Will definitely be coming back! read more

This was a Great IPA Brewery, its clean had a nice selection and the bartender's were very nice and the clientele was decent. Ironically, for a Sunday they had a decent crowd streaming in. My personal favorites were the '89 Ryot for the IPA and the the DoppelBock for a Stout. Both were very nice. Would come again at least for the the beer and ambiance. read more

I stopped in this past Saturday for the first time and this place didn't disappoint. I've always heard good things about Brix in the craft beer world and I found this place to live up to the hype. Every beer I tried I thoroughly enjoyed. My girlfriend loved the Just Another IPA and I tried 3 other IPAs on draft. The environment was very warm and friendly. A lot of young families inside and very good music to go along with the vibes. At the end of all of it the best part was the tab afterwards which was $36 for 6 beers and a 4 pack to go.
