Never seen 8oz. glasses in a brewery for full pours
Jim T.

I've been to this location 3x now. Their beer is very solid and IPA heavy, which is good for me personally. The "Jams" seem to be variations of their flagship beers and were pretty tasty. My only negative is the pricing. It is $7-8 for an 8oz pour. With all due respect, the best breweries in the world do not charge those prices and we are sitting in a warehouse in Little Ferry with zero atmosphere. We should be getting 12 oz. minimum for those prices.

First time coming here was for their summer jams event. Although it was packed and crowded they handled the lines and crowd beautifully. It never took longer than 15-20 minutes on line for a drink. Staff were exceptional and patient with tastings and ordering. I do wish they had more food options but they had plenty of food options for this event. I cannot wait to return and try out Brix City again!

This place is always fun to stop in and hang out. Had the two stouts last night. Amazing. Honestly so complex and delicious. Also had the Porter Authority which was also fantastic. Met some fun people and chatted. Great place to go to wind down a day with friends.

Sunday brewery fun

My fiancée and I visited on a Sunday afternoon and we had a great time! There was plenty of parking in the lot and outdoor seating available. We each tried beer flights consisting of some ipas, light beers, and stouts. I liked the variety of beer they had on tap. They allow you to bring your own food. The ambiance is very relaxed and the space is large enough to bring your friends. I liked how cool it was inside on a hot summer day, drinking an ice cold beer! :) will be back.

Brix City Brewing is a craft brewery located in Little Ferry, New Jersey. The brewery was founded in 2013 by two friends with a passion for beer. Brix City Brewing produces a variety of craft beers, including IPAs, stouts, lagers, and sours. The brewery also has a taproom where customers can sample the beers . I visited Brix City Brewing on a recent Saturday afternoon. The taproom was busy, but the staff was friendly and helpful. My favorites are anything with the words "Jams" and Silk City. I would definitely recommend Brix City Brewing to anyone looking for a great craft beer experience.

The O.G. Kolsch

My latest outing for a brewery was with Brix City and apparently I had on my "to try" Yelp list. Not exactly my favorite beer session with a brewery but far from the worst. Just kind of in the middle. We had three beers from this particular brewery, all different beer styles which we felt gave us a broad range of what the brewery is like. The first was the O.G. Kolsch. Kolsch beers have become a favorite of mine. This particular one tasted more like a pale ale however which was a bit perplexing. It was very sessionable and fruity in it's features. After that was Fruitastic Voyage. There is a whole variety of fruit beer flavors under this name. We had Strawberry, Apricot, Rhubarb and Dragon Fruit. All these rolled into one made a pretty sweet tasting beer but it wasn't as heavy on the stomach as I was expecting like many fruit beers are. The last beer was Gloria, a blonde ale. Normally I really go for blonde ales as they are light and breezy, often with a good bready flavor. This blonde had kind of a strong banana flavor like what you see in some Hefeweizens however. All in all not the most memorable outing but did like the fruited beer. It was also confusing having beer taste like one beer style when it's labeled as one that doesn't match the taste.

Been here many times over the years plus once during COVID, so when my wife said she wanted to come here due to a new slushee, I obliged. Food: she ordered a flight which included (top to bottom) the Palm Tree Picnic DIPA, Microphone Czech dark lager, Gloria belgian blonde, and Drawing Straws DIPA. She enjoyed all four and then ordered the slushee which was a mix of the Gloria, cherry, and pineapple. Absolutely delicious even though I don't drink. Aesthetic: classic microbrewery feel as always. Now have outdoor seating! Service: service is always great here.

The entire menu is so so so good. The service is fabulous. Shout out to Ryan. So prompt and helpful. The entire place looks beautiful.

When this place says a beer will taste like something, IT REALLY DOES. "Hint of coffee and coconut?" It has both!! I'd buy from here again! Glad to have it close to me. They have an outdoor spot and you can bring your own food. Parking is ample and on gravel/dirt so it seems a little dusty if anyone cares

"Robot Jams" $5.00

I finally made it over to Brix City brewing. I tried a few weeks ago, but it was packed. Saturday evening I got lucky enough to find a spot by their graffiti wall. It's such a chill environment in there. The staff is cool. The beers are amazing! With that combination of things you can't go wrong. Make sure y'all get out to this dope brewery and support this business. First round I went with a Flight of beers $10.00. Coconut connection - New England double IPA 8.0% "Get Puft" - Double IPA 8.0% "Robot Jams" - New England/Hazy Double IPA 8.0% "Sixes and Sevens". - English brown ale. 5.0% For the second round I got their "Robot Jams" DIPA again which was $5.00. I can't wait to go back.

Fun place to hang out with friends and fabulous beer. I had Gloria, which is their light beer and would highly recommend.

With an atmospheric resemblance of an industrial pub, there is never a disappointment when it comes to the perfect brews. The amazing staff help you with any questions! They have peanuts and pretzels on site, but an amazing pizzeria right behind them you can order from. Palermo's

Came here on a weekend night with a group of friends and I'll definitely be coming back again as I loved the ambiance. I'm not typically a beer person (definitely prefer red wines and cocktails) but to my surprise, I liked every single beer that I tried here. I recommend getting the flight of beers to start & if your friends get it too, you can try even more. The craft beers are so flavorful and the prices are very reasonable. They take credit card here which is always a plus. Space is large but if it gets crowded it may be a big difficult to find a table, but there are plenty of barrels that you can rest your beer on. Staff is super friendly!

Ask the Community - Brix City Brewing

Can we bring our own food snacks/food?

Yes

Any food served?

Not really. They sell bagged pretzels and last time I went I think they had prepackaged charcuterie but that's about it.

Are dogs allowed?

No. We were just told that they no longer allow dogs. They suggested Alementary for a dog-friendly brewery.

Most importantly: a killer taplist with an astounding 21 beers, one NA beer, and one seltzer. No two beers alike and all of them inventive and delicious. For me the real standout was the Politics and Religion, a DIPA with milk sugar and coconut and sabro hops. This is just a quintessential NJ brewery. My girlfriend and I have been to a lot of NJ breweries over the years, and we feel confident ranking this one high on the list. We visited on a Sunday afternoon in February and whiled away the hours watching Winter Olympics with the staff and other patrons. The only downside is parking. There are about five parking spots out front. If you're not lucky enough to grab one of them, and especially if they have a special event going on, you'll have to demolition derby your way into a parking space amongst the maze of narrow streets that surround the brewery. There is a parking lot down the road where you can park and walk it's maybe a 2minute walk and way easier to park. They had a food vendor outside with kebabs and a birthday party ongoing so it was definitely packed. We opted to sit inside as it was hazy outside and a bit too humid for liking. When trying to go inside it seemed there was a large group at the end of the bar which in turn was blocking the entrance. And they didn't seem to move when the door was opened. When ordering my boyfriend ordered their oh the pain DIPA and he really liked it. I struggled to find something as they didn't have any sours on tap. So I went with the Sanguine which was supposed to be their blood orange wheat beer. It was drinkable but definitely not something I'd get again. Was definitely surprised when I asked if they had anything non alcoholic and the bartender said no. Glad we were able to try this brewery but probably would not come back.

They were very heavy on the IPAs which wasn't my favorite. Unfortunately, there wasn't any onsite food (some snacks) or trucks (BYOF style). And, they appeared to be family and pet-friendly.
