    Medium sashimi

Theres a lot of sushi places in pal park fort lee but this place is great for korean style hwae sashimi cut platter. We always order sides of garlic lettuce and ssam jang sauce and also buy their bones for spicy seafood stew at the end. The stew kit is super cheap and comes with all the ingredient and sauce for a huge batch of soup. The fish is fresh and i love that when we order the fluke they mix in different parts of the fish for texture! Great neighborhood joint for takeout sushi

Sushi and sashimi combo with lettuce and makjang

If you love an endless feast of sashimi and will like to try how Koreans eat their sashimi - this is the place for you. The place was very clean and modern. Takeout only and cheaper if you pay by cash. I took their Korean menu and translated in Google Translate but later relied on Uber Eats menu to order through the phone. The lady who picked up was fluent in English and super friendly. We ordered the small sushi and sashimi combo and lettuce with makjang. Amazing fresh fish. Many options of eating - 1)plain sashimi, 2) with soy sauce and wasabi, 3) with chojang (red spicy sauce) and 4)makjang. Of course with all these options, you can wrap it up with the lettuce or sesame leaves. So for me, if you getting the sashimi, get the lettuce with makjang too! If you love sushi, they have different combos. They also serve sashimi over rice and rolls but I prefer sashimi. Very healthy and flavorful! Next time I am going to order the sashimi medium, lettuce with makjang and add on the spicy fish stew just to make it more of a feast! Great option when you are too full for sushi and just want to chill at home.

If you aren't Korean, I feel like this would be a difficult spot to order to go from. I don't think there was an English menu online and entering the establishment I really don't recall it English translation either. I luckily was with my good friend and got exactly what she had. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't know my options, what's good, and communication with the staff would be difficult. However if you are fluent in Korean, you should get by no problem. What I got reminds me of poke but with a twist. The gochujang paste is what makes it different. we got the variety of seafood, and to be honest I don't know the exact fish but it was tasty. I'm sure there was salmon in there. For $17 it's a bit pricey as I could just order poke for less but you do get a container of rice and soup. It was nice and filling. I would definitely reorder from this spot again.

    Sushi (40 pieces)($70)

(March 19, 2022) Sushi & sashimi dinner for take out. Apparently, this place is well known for take out only. No indoor seating available. We ordered : 1) Sushi - 40 pieces ($70) 2) Sashimi - Small ($70) 3) Vegetable - $5 4) Fish stew - 2 ppl portion ($18) (Meal kit - all prepped) Enough portion for 6 adults. Generous slices of Sushi. Rather small slices of sashimi. (Too hard rolled rice in sushi; supposed to be a good mixture of rice vinegar, sugar, salt, just about enough pressure to make the sushi rice into a ball) Chewing into the hard rolled sushi rice was the major downside. The upside was that all can be bought or as a mela kit: traditional fish stew can be prepped, and all you need to do is boil. Unless you want to get multiple side dishes (like Bada Story with endless dishes served), this take out is quite reasonable priced.

I think this was a medium size.

Food Service Ambiance Not a dine in place, so not much can be said about the ambiance, but it's clean. The guy at the counter is nice sometimes there's a lady working there but I think the guy is more friendly than the lady Go there for fresh sushi. It's always fresh!

$12 for this 1 pint of jeonbok-jook and it tasted nothing like it! No flavor, just RICE WITH SESAME OIL! Do not buy
    Liz P.

DO NOT BUY THEIR jeonbok-jook. Are you kidding me. I paid $24 for 1 quart and it tastes like rice with sesame oil! What a rip off. If I didn't live far away, I would've turned around and gotten my money back. I can't believe they sell this as jeonbok-jook, they should be ashamed of themselves. 1 pint was labeled at $12 bucks. Robbery!

Sashimi wasnt bad but some menu (garlic, lettuce) are extra $5~9 and comes in very small portion. Those should've been complimentary when we spent over $100 already.

Huge piece of high quality tuna "DRAPING" over small sized rice! Mmmmmm, delicioso!

Though not huge, their menu is plant based with an assortment of brunch/lunch items like bowls, salads and interesting sushi, as well as smoothies and other drinks. If you're open to vegan food and uncommon items in a western diet, you'll enjoy it. The pad thai slaw and sushirito were delicious and well made and everything on the menu was inviting. The teas were lovely and I really enjoyed being able to select a blend of herbs for my tea mug. There was some herbal water available, and a selection of desserts on the counter and in the fridge - chocolatey delights like "snickers" bars. We found a corner next to the stage with two armchairs and a coffee table which was the coziest corner to sit and chat. Though it was Friday afternoon at lunch time and there were several other small groups, it never felt crowded and we were able to stay for a few hours enjoying our tea and meal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and non-intrusive. You order at the counter and then sit down, and we were not disturbed at all besides our meal being brought to us when it was ready. Parking is limited but at least they have a lot. It's a short walk into the main part of the town. They also occasionally host events. Looking forward to returning!

We selected four skewers (chicken, short rib, pepper in bacon, mushroom in bacon) and beef pancakes with scallions to start. An excellent and flavorful selection of appetizers. We knew that we wanted to order a solid amount of entree to share and went with the fried chicken with garlic and the thin beef brisket with clams. The fried chicken was a HUGE pile of perfectly fried and seasoned chicken. I haven't had better Korean fried chicken! The brisket and clams was also delicious, had never considered that combination before but enjoyed it to the point where I was looking for more clams. Absolutely stuffed and looking to return!

Everything on the menu is vegan, but my family truly could not taste any difference when we visited. We ordered the Oreo protein pancakes, blueberry pancakes, penne with vodka sauce, and a breakfast burrito. Since I turned vegan, I've been craving pancakes so the food really hit the spot. The pancakes were so fluffy and tasted incredible. The penne was also so flavorful and was maybe our favorite dish. The breakfast burrito was also filling and tasted great. Overall, I'm very impressed with the quality of food and would come here regularly if I lived in the area. Additionally, the prices were super reasonable and are definitely more affordable than the average restaurant in the area. Chelsea was our waitress and I want to give her a special shoutout because she was particularly helpful and friendly to us. She did an excellent job answering our questions and even was willing to share general tips on vegan cooking. She really went out of her way to help me out after I mentioned that I recently turned vegan.

Upon looking at the yelp reviews and pictures, Fish Creeks was it! We made a reservation, which is highly recommended. When we arrived, the restaurant was packed but there wasn't a line. We were seated immediately. The place was nicely lit, not too crowded. It was just my wife and I, so we were seated at a small table. We were greeted by our server. The menu was fairly simple, not too many choices to debate over. That's always a good sign imo. We decided to go with the fried rice (recommended to us), the fried pork belly and the morning glory (veggie). All I have to say is.. WOW. Even being pretty hungover, the food was absolutely amazing. The fried fish was fried to perfection, the herbs really added a nice touch. The fish was so meaty, no bones. The pork belly was a little over fried, but was still delicious. It was a little chewy but the flavors and fried garlic was excellent. The morning glory was cooked perfectly, just like how my mom made it when I growing up. Overall, the meal was 5/5! We couldn't have asked for a better meal, it exceeded all of our expectations. The service was great. The place was booming and it didn't take long to get our food or anything. The staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back next time! We can't wait to try the rest of the menu.. or even getting the same thing because it was that good!
