Went for lunch since someone recommended the restaurant and it did not disappoint! Service was on point. We requested some modifications to our soup and they gladly added without charging. The live flounder and seafood we got were really fresh. They gave use side dishes that was good quality and just quantity! Will definitely go back all the way there from Maryland!

I took my parents here for Father's Day this year. This course was $250 (before tax + tip) definitely enough for 4 people. This place is reasonably priced. The seafood was fresh. The appetizers could have been more interesting. It was a lot of vegetable focused side dishes. I didn't understand the cream of mushroom dish but my dad seemed to enjoy it. The main course, we ordered variety of different sashimi fish. It included tuna, tuna belly, yellowtail, fluke, red snapper, salmon, squid, octopus, and abalone. Then lastly, fish bone soup to end the meal. The restaurant used the left over fish bones with a little bit of meat to cook a spicy seafood soup, and that was refreshing and delicious. Most importantly my dad enjoyed it! Servers were attentive, my mom can get a bit annoying at restaurants (she's very needy ) and super clean! Great place to celebrate occasions!

I've been here before they remodeled/relocated to the bottom floor, and recently came back a few times. The seafood and sashimi combos they have are full of a variety of raw seafoods and cooked appetizers as well. Honestly, I'm not too accustomed to some of the things that were served, like sea cucumber, sea squirt, etc., but there's no doubt that everything was very fresh and a great bang for your buck. This is not like a high end omakase dining experience but if you're really into seafood and trying new things, I would recommend trying this place out. The appetizers were pretty good too and included asparagus wrapped with bacon, fried fish dishes. Etc. Sashimi is displayed nicely on cold "rocks" and I left here stuffed.

Overall great experience. Recommend this place to those who like sushi and raw seafood. The restaurant itself is kind of hard to fine. You have to walk past by a karaoke bar. The restaurant has a very strong fish smell. Just like walking into a fish market. Place doesn't look that appealing but the food is good. The sushi and raw seafood is very fresh. You can order combos which include a variety of raw seafood and sides. The services is good, wait staff is very attentive and helpful as the menu is all in korean.

As for Feb 20th they have a new menu. Mostly same items as.before but with a bit more entree options for lunch We had the mixed sashimi set for 3. The side dishes that come with the set is quality stuff. Their marinated raw shrimp is excellent and can order extra for $ 10(for 4 pcs). They dont give you the cheaper sides like some other korean sashimi restaurants(like veg. Tempura/corn with cheese/skinny fried fish etc) They also give you grilled fish which in size look like a regular entree. You finish the meal with a spicy fish soup which is great after having a few drinks

This restaurant has a unique setup. For starters it's free valet parking. Then you have a choice to make. You can go upstairs for their Korean BBQ or head downstairs to their seafood/sushi experience. I heard about their fresh seafood so I gave it a try. You walk in and they have fish tanks setup by the chefs. It also has an eclectic menu for sushi, sashimi, and a set meal options that comes with soup, side items, etc. I liked how the sushi and sashimi was delicate and broke down easily. You can tell they were fresh. The side items that came out were plentiful and good to snack on while the food was being made. I need to come back for the bbq to give it a full review. FYI: They do not accept American Express cards.

If you are looking for something unique/different place for Sashimi, you should try this place. Their side dishes (Sukidashi) has so many varieties made with seafoods. Their sashimi are so fresh and tasty. The service is top notch and attentive!!! The value is the best of NJ as well. Highly recommend this place

This place has an excellent lunch menu! They give you a substantial amount of food in the lunch combos. Their seafood is fresh and tasty. Good place for team lunches. They have a few private rooms in the back.

That gave us enough time to have the place to ourselves and order literally everything they could think to serve us. This was easily one of the best KBBQ experiences I've had. The meat cuts were all perfectly marinated and grilled, from the Dry-Aged Pork Belly, to the tender Pork Jowl, to the juicy Marinated Pork Ribs. The Budae Jjigae was savory comfort, and the Shin Ramen Fried Rice was not only abundant, but served in an adorable heart shape. Even the Kimchi Stew and Gyeran-jjim were more umami than the countless counterparts I've had elsewhere. On top of that, we got more ban chan than an attention-starved halmoni hosting her first family reunion in 10 years. Everywhere I pointed my chopsticks, I touched food. It was delightful. If I can ever gather enough people, I'd gladly infest this place again.

Came on a weekday night and there weren't many people in the store. - Deluxe Gomtang - I think the difference between the normal gomtang and the deluxe version is that they give a bit more meat and rice. I really liked the gomtang as the flavors were really rich especially when elevated by the pepper. - Seolleongtang - Clear and beautiful broth that went really well with salt. I felt like the meat was not as tender as I hoped but still made me think of my favorite Korean restaurant where I grew up. - Kong-guksu - I didn't know what to expect of this dish as I've never heard of it or tried it before but I didn't really like the dish. No matter how much salt/pepper I put in, there still didn't seem to be a lot of flavor. I ended up dumping the Korean Pickled Onion banchan in which helped elevate the flavor a lot. - Mini KimchiJeon - When I read this off the menu, I though the kimchi pancake would be extremely small but it turned out to be quite bit and very delicious. It was super crispy on the outside with soft insides stuffed with kimchi. I will definitely be back to this home-y restaurant!

We decided on this place because rating was pretty good and was open late. It's located in a plaza with Korean market, liquor store, cafe and such. Large parking area available in the plaza. Inside is small but clean and gives off traditional Korean restaurant vibe with of course Korean music. There were quite few Korean customers as well as staffs so i knew we were in the right place. They specialize in Korean beef soup. We ordered rice cake and dumplings and special beef rib soup. The fish came with purple rice and various kimchi and pickled veggies side dishes. They also serve korean hot tea along side the dishes. My special beef rib soup was very light and clear but full of beef flavor. Little touch with salt and pepper with pickled veggies and rice paired with very well. The meats were very tender and flavorful as well. Portion is quite large and i was not able to finish my bowl although i did help with another bowl of rice from my partner. My partner got the rice cake and dumplings beef soup. This one was a but lighter and needed more salt flavoring but also good. She liked her's better as she doesn't like heavier and fattier meat/broth. Salt and peppers are provided to adjust your seasoning as needed. Even though they could not finish the dishes i throughly enjoyed the food. What i like about Korean dishes is that even some are heavy and fatty they include lots of vegetables and healthy ingredients which makes it feel like you had a healthy meal and lots of nutrients despite eating out. Service was minimal but adequate. Overall it was very good authentic Korean restaurant that offers solid Korean beef soup.
