This was a complicated ordering system compared to majority of other sushi AYCEs. Overall, the sushi rolls felt like they leaned heavy into the fusion realm, likely because it is Korean-owned. Because of that, these didn't feel like actual sushi, but rather just rice and meats. Came here after a coworker recommended it and decided to try it with my husband. It's located in a strip mall near an Asian supermarket, so just a heads up--parking can be a bit of a hassle. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all, so we were seated right away. The menu has a huge variety of rolls (fish, crab, baked, deep-fried), which was great but a little overwhelming at first. Luckily our server was very helpful. We did the AYCE and it was definitely worth it for the price. Everything tasted amazing, and my favorite was the Golden Fire Roll. For two people it came out to a little over $100, which felt fair. Las Vegas sushi is a pretty decent AYCE BYOB establishment. It is located within a strip mall with plenty of parking. We had a reservation Friday night which the honored. They hand you a paper along with a menu and you fill everything out with what you would like to eat. They have a pretty creative choices for sushi rolls and they are huge! Due to the size of some of these rolls you need to be a little bit picky with what you get to make sure you finish it all. I found to fish to be very tasty and they have a pretty big selection of side dishes that are just as good as the sushi. Service is a little slow but the servers are all very nice. I really wish Yelp would let us give .5s because this place was a 3.5. This was my 2nd time checking this place out. First time was during covid and things were very different back then , so my friend said that I needed to give this place another try. Unfortunately, this was not a Las Vegas style sushi experience for me (yet again) and even though the business states on Yelp "no 'Fill you up with RICE,'" I was definitely filled up with rice. I definitely liked the different appetizers they had. Out of the different AYCE sushi places I've tried in Bergen County, they had good appetizer choices. (Check out the menu pics for the appetizer choices.) Here is what I liked from the appetizers. -tempura shrimp (loved this! thin and crispy pieces) -bacon scallop skewer (not a fan of the sweet drizzle but loved the crispy garlic on the skewer) -miso soup (delicious) One appetizer that I did not like at all was the crispy rice with spicy tuna. It was big and too full of rice (so dense and heavy with rice) and it was eh. And the whole thing was too sweet. My friend liked it though. I mainly ate the nigiri because I would be TKO if I had even one special roll. (I did like that they divided the special rolls by different fish type.) Here are the ones I tried and liked. -seared salmon (had several servings of this, good but wasn't a fan of the sauce which was too sweet and they could've torched the salmon more) -garlic tuna (very garlicky indeed) -baby scallop (tiny but so fresh and delicious) -salmon nigiri -my friend loved the shrimp nigiri Their nigiris were small and bite-sized, which was nice, but very full of rice and the fish pieces were a bit thin. The rice amount may look small but it was a very, very dense amount of rice. Definitely got full from the rice. You could feel the heaviness of the rice as you eat it. They have signs everywhere that you can't take out the rice and they will charge you for uneaten rice. The waitress there was super nice and attentive. There was also a waiter who was nice, but whenever he brought our food, he kept on putting the food on the table/side where we were not eating (2 of us were sitting at a table for 4) but eating at one side of the table. The place isn't that big, so if you plan to go, go early. Don't know how long the wait would be for a busy day/night. You do get one dessert, so my friend and I got mochi ice cream, which was pre-packaged, but very good. FYI: -A plus is that there is plenty of parking in the shopping lot. -When ordering for AYCE, you fill out a form for the sushi dishes. But for everything else, you have to order directly with the waiter/waitress. read more

This place has one of the most unique selections of sushi rolls I've seen! If you're with a large group, I highly recommend going for the all-you-can-eat option so you can try a variety of their beautifully crafted rolls. The app menu features an impressive range of hot and cold starters. I went a little overboard and ordered the jalapeños, Screaming O salad, kani salad, and a few other items. None of them disappointed! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to answer any questions. One suggestion for the restaurant would be to add short descriptions under the appetizers, but the team did a great job explaining everything in person. Hands down the best all-you-can-eat sushi spot if you care about fresh quality sushi. A lot of AYCE places focus on quantity and cut corners on freshness, but not here. The fish is consistently fresh, everything tastes high quality, and it's easily one of the best AYCE sushi experiences around. The staff is also very attentive and works hard to keep up with how insanely busy this place always is. They're constantly moving, checking tables, clearing plates, and doing their best to take care of everyone. Honestly, the fact that this place is always packed tells you everything you need to know. Some of the one-star reviews feel like they come from people who don't understand how busy a popular restaurant can get. If you can't handle a wait or a fast-paced environment, maybe this spot just isn't for you. The service was painfully rude the Korean man with the mushroom hair cut and glasses was extremely rude and had zero customer service he acted annoyed--as if taking the order was an inconvenience and wanted to rush me home The food was just as bad. The rice was mushy and warm, the fish tasted far from fresh, and some rolls were beyond perfect in taste and preparation One bite was enough to know this wasn't quality sushi--it was grocery-store level at best, and that's being generous. Even the soy sauce somehow tasted off, which I didn't think was possible. Now let's talk about the ambiance... or lack of it. The entire place was decorated with random, cheap-looking Christmas lights that felt more like a cluttered basement than a restaurant. They were harsh, mismatched, and completely ruined any chance of atmosphere. Instead of feeling cozy or festive, it felt tacky and distracting--like someone decorated last minute without a plan. I thought the sushi was mediocre but that's expected for an AYCE, and there's no option to order sashimi. Worth a try but not worth it for those who can't eat a lot. My party of 5 entered with excitement to order from the special menu. We were immediately told that they were unable to serve us the Special Menu ($60 per person). We were disappointed, however, settled with the AYCE because how could that go wrong? Once we started to order several items, the waiter told us multiple times that the kitchen did not have this or that (e.g., takoyaki, seaweed salad, rolls, strawberry mochi). At this point, I'm wondering is this really all-you-can-eat if the special menu and other items are "not available"? The sushi and rolls were another disappointment. We ordered 10 nigiri (2 pieces each) and 10 rolls, and it was shocking to realize that every dish contained a small or large amount of crab imitation mix with mayonnaise. To add, the fish itself did NOT taste fresh-- it was extremely off-putting and unpleasant. Overall, it is clear that we did NOT enjoy the food. We were unable to truly enjoy the AYCE experience, due to the poor quality. This is something that should not be compromised or overlooked. I will not be returning back to this place. P.S. My wife and I had dinner at Las Vegas Sushi on a Thursday. It's located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Like many AYCE sushi restaurants, they give you a paper menu, and you check off the items that you want. They have 3 options: A, B, and Sashimi. Your party does not need to get the same options. I got option B which allows you try everything in red on the menu. This includes their special nigiri which has uni, ikura, sweet shrimp, bluefin tuna, and giant clam. Unfortunately, you are limited to one order of any of the menu items in red, which i was not aware of until after i tried to order a second serving of the special nigiri. The rest of the menu is all you can eat. They do not have sashimi, but they dont use too much rice in their rolls or nigiri. The fish is of significantly higher quality than other AYCE sushi places in the area. It was worth it. read more

I love finding new ayce places and this just might be my new favorite! I've never seen a place offer crispy tuna rice for ayce so that was a plus. I will say the first time we came, we ordered many rolls with "crab" in it. It's like a lot of mixed crab..im talking an entire ball of crab mix in each bite so beware when ordering. My fiancé and I just found out go-to AYCE sushi restaurant in NJ! The quality of fish at AYCE sushi spots tend to be on the questionable side, but we think the quality here definitely exceeds our expectations. We ordered from Menu A which is everything on the menu in black (Menu B is inclusive of everything in A plus in red). Their menu is so extensive that we didn't miss out on anything in B. They have a ton of special rolls and nigiri on the menu. Every roll is flavorful and the rice ratio is decent. The Yuzu Yellowtail nigiri was delightful but the seared salmon was our favorite. They also have some unique toppings in some of their sushi like cilantro- actually quite refreshing. Don't knock it until you try it (unless you don't like cilantro)! Also! Ugh so disappointed by this place. I've dined in for lunch and dinner in the past before and never had any issues with the service or food quality. If anything we thought it was pretty decent for an AYCE and the price we were paying. But tonight.. we ordered for takeout over the phone. They quoted us 40-45mins so we arrived at the 40min mark. We waited another 25minutes before our food was handed to us. Wtf?? What's the point of calling in to pickup our order then? We'd understand if they were crazy packed but we watched a couple walk in, order, and get their food before we got ours. Ok whatever. We get home, we're starving and my tuna is brown. The service was good they we're constantly checking on us and other patrons. We also saw a caring, respectful interactions with the table beside us. Ambiance was nice. When my cuz asked for the check our server gave us a good suggestion that he was going to check/ tally our bill he thought it could possibly be less as an a la carte instead of AYCE. Went here for lunch with the wife and brother on a Sunday afternoon. I had high expectations coming in because of the reviews and the fact that it was recommended by someone we know. To start off.. the miso soup and chicken karaage were delicious. The price went up but the menu has a pretty extensive appetizer portion. We ordered approximately 6 rolls, a few nigiris, and some appetizers. Immediately everyone at the table noticed the ridiculous amount of shredded imitation crab meat in each roll. It was so abundant that it became overwhelming and was all that I can taste the rolls. The rice did not have the typical sushi rice texture as it was more on the dry side. The takoyaki order was still frozen in the center. It literally had a piece of frozen dough inside and we were not offered any dessert at the end even though we asked if it came with any.
