My two friends and I went there for a mani-pedi. All 3 of us were so sorry we did. None of the service providers took their time to give us a decent job. Our fingernails were not polished evenly and the cuticals were cut and looked ragged. Our pedicure was not done properly. My 9 year old granddaughter could have done a better job on the polish job. I have been patronizing this Salon approximately 7 years. Anna does a great job when she is not distracted being the receptionist. The prices were increased during COVID, which I understand. After COVID the hand sanitizer which was water down and the spotted pixie glass have been removed in addition everyone has gone back to subpar general cleaning, sharing brushes, drill attachments, not sanitizing their hands or cleaning the station after the patron has left I wonder why is the price still elevated. Never in my life have I had a 20 minute manicure from start to finish with about a 30 second hand massage. Other people in the salon had longer, more quality service but not me. Probably/probably because I got a regular manicure, not one with gel, dip or other. Not a very good first impression of the salon. My nails did look good and I liked them however this experience did not give me a relaxing pampered feeling. Well with all the nail places we could have chosen, unfortunately we came here. The pedicure itself wasn't horrible but but wasn't great either. What was horrible were the people who gave my daughter and I our pedicures. The techs were both very rude. My daughter's tech spoke not one word to her. She didn't even say hello. She merely tapped her foot to indicate for her to raise it. My tech told me my nails were ugly and told me I shouldn't do DIY. I told him that was the reason I was there! In all actuality they didn't look bad when I went in. Midway through both if our pedicures they each got up at separate times and went and started working on other peoples manicures. Someone different came back and applied my polish. The way they treated both of us was pretty rude and I would not recommend going to this salon. My daughter and I went to have some fun and she was treating me for my birthday. Needless to say they ruined it for us and the pedicures were definitely sub-par. I have been having manicures for 30 years and know how long it takes to dry nails with a regular OPI nail polish. If nail polish is old, it does not dry well. Also in the past I have had gel polish on various occasions and found my nails became very soft and it took almost a year to become normal again. With these facts I will tell you my experience at Boardmore nail in Solon today. I had a regular manicure with OPI polish at Boardmore nails in Solon. I sat with the fans drying my nails for 45 mins. They were not drying, so I told the girl who did my nails the problem, she told me gel polish dries faster and turned away from me going back to the current customer she was working on. I continued to wait for my nails to dry for an hour. I could not waiting any longer therefore, I went to carefully retain my car keys from my purse when I noticed my nail polish was still sticky causing ripples and marks in the polish. Again, I told the girl who did my nails and she again informed me this is normal and gel polish dries faster. At this point I became frustrated asking for my money back at which time she told me she would get the manager. I waited another 7 minutes and asked the receptionist to please get the manager/owner. She walked over to a different nail technician and spoke to her. Again, I was ignored!! I had to leave because, I was late for another engagement the establishment never addressed my issues. I have been to Broadmore nails in the past, Jimmy was wonderful however, after this past experience I will never go there again and urge others to seek different nail salons Customer service is terrible and the OPI nail polish is old, this is why it does not dry. read more

I had a full gel set put on a week and a half ago. Paul did my nails and was very polite, but I did wait a while to get my nails done (i did make an appointment) which was bothersome because I had to go to work in a few hours. I explained the shape I wanted, and Paul did make them into a nice coffin shape. It wasn't exactly what I wanted, because they were thick and a little too short, but I passed it off because I loved the color. However when I was done, I noticed that my nails were bumpy, and the ends were uneven. But I ignored this because I didn't want to complain about everything. I am very particular about my nails, I like them to be long and not thick. I also like to be listened to and not cut off. After three days I noticed that my GEL was scuffed and peeling back. I went in and they fixed it, but it was very very rushed and the nail tech insisted that it was because the gel did not set right under the light. I shrugged it off and gave it the benefit of doubt, but once again the day after they were scuffed. Now, I wear gloves when cleaning and I am very careful with the nails considering that my total was 65.00. A week later the acrylic is peeling back, the glue is being exposed and looks like a crust around the nail, the shape is uneven, the color is dull. I am very disappointed in this place because it had such high praise. Sixty-five dollars worth of nail should last, and not be excused as "it didn't set right". I don't like it when a nail tech rushes the manicure, especially since it is acrylic and needs a little bit more attention. My thumbs are wildly uneven and my index fingers are bent and bumpy. When I showed the nail tech this, she did not comment on it and continued hastily filing my gel to fix it. I'm not happy with the quality that I received and the time it took to take me in. staff was rude. the girl who did my pedicure didn't even say hello and all she would do is tap my leg to tell me what to do with my foot. I got a mini pedi and she finished with in 15 min. I only soaked my feet for a total of 5 min. my mom was next to me and the man doing hers was rude and telling her how horrible her nails were. very insulting and rude. her nails didn't even look bad, but that was the reason we were there obviously to make our feet look cute. half way between both our pedicures both techs walked away and left us sitting there and 2 new people came and finished our toes. very strange and overall a bad experience. will not be returning. read more

I have had a terrible experience here the last two times that I have gone, and today I did not even end up getting my nails done. Last time, in April, I waited 50 minutes with my feet in the water for my pedicure before they even began. Today, I had an appointment for 4:30, and after asking two different times if someone was going to see me, I finally left at 5:00. The receptionist was not kind or helpful. Until after I kept running into incident after incident. 1st incident: One day I was taking a bit longer that usual to pick my nail color almost 10 minutes (I'm sorry.) after I picked my nail polish and sat down & nail tech leyna got an attitude with me and told me I don't have to come back, if I'm going to take that long.. because she has other guest coming in. That was hurtful especially because I have invested so much money into this company and I ALWAYS leave a good tip. 2nd incident: It was a normal day at the nail salon.. everything was perfect UNTIL a lady walked in with no appointment and said she needed to get her nails done ASAP Because she had to get her son off of the bus... At the time I was getting a full set, all I needed was nail paint .. so one of the nail techs asked me if I could come later for my paint .. RUDE ! (& no I didn't leave until my service was completed.) 3rd Incident: One day it we pretty busy , I made an appointment for a pedicure.. I come in (As usual) and they sit me in my chair and have me waiting for an HOUR FOR A GREET. All the nail techs were walking past , waving and smiling... that got old very quick. Went with a group of three others and was about five minutes late to our appointment but they were just about done with their previous clients so it worked out great. After 8 days, I had a nail to completely come off...none of my nails were lifting nor had I done anything to cause a nail to pop off completely. The "owner," Chris fixed the nail inefficiently (cheaper look and longer than my other nails) and then tried to charge me for it. Seriously, after only 8 days, you should be more than apologetic, not repeatedly stating, "I'll let it go this time, but the next time, we have to charge you." Really?? First time here, I was greeted by multiple people, and I had walked over to the colors, once I picked out my colors, I waited for about 4 minutes before my nail tech came and introduced himself. This man completely, utterly, without a doubt, wholeheartedly, absolutely, entirely NAILED IT! I've never been so happy with the outcome. I got an acrylic fill with gel on top, and this man did the damn thing... I've never gotten so much attention and complements to my nails. I've never had the hands to rock SUPER long nails, and Paul worked with my request. I also asked for them not to be super thick bc acrylic & gel... i didn't want bubble thick nails, and Paul... he just did a fantastic job! He's so detail oriented, i will definitely be back. My wife and I stopped in to get pedicures for our anniversary. I also lined myself out to get a manicure after. It was a disaster in quality of service. Honestly my technician should have been embarrassed. We got the hot rock pedicure at $60 each and they literally had no idea what they were doing. She literally burned my shins with the rocks and never even touched my feet with them. We were suppose to get "extra massage" in the price and they didn't massage our feet at all. It was so uncomfortable It was upsetting. It was so bad I cancelled the manicure and she got nasty when I did. Do not go on a Saturday without an appointment unless you don't mind waiting with no guarantee on how long you'll be sitting there. They could make you wait up to an hour without letting you know that up front. In fact, you may hear it will be a 15 min wait from one employee, and 30 minutes from another. That's what they did to me today. Also I wonder whether their nail techs are certified locally. Once I went and the woman who did my nails said she was just in for the weekend from New Jersey, helping out her boyfriend who is a nail tech there. I've never in my life gone to anywhere with such terrible customer service. The very first time I came, I made an appointment prior to arriving. Once I arrived, they made me wait an hour because walk-ins are prioritized over standing appointments. The second time I made an appointment, the receptionist made it for the wrong date and time causing me to wait another hour to be serviced. I came to the conclusion it was pointless to make an appointment if walk-ins are prioritized, therefore I arrived today for a pedicure as a walk-in. The young lady told me that it's going to be an hour wait and to return at 7:15pm. I return as requested and noticed the technician whom I liked was finishing up a client. I asked her if I can request him for my pedicure and she said yes. She then placed me in a pedicure chair with semi cold water and I began to wait. I look up and noticed it is now 25 minutes later and the technician that I requested is now doing a manicure on someone else. I looked to the front and noticed that the young lady is gone which is to be expected because they close at 7: 30. I'm sitting in the back and no one has said anything to me nor have they inquired about who I'm waiting on. I literally took my feet out, walked over to the sink to dry them off, and walked out. No one even acknowledge me in any fashion. I strongly recommend that you do not under any circumstances give your patronage to this establishment. Ive started to recently go to this salon regularly and I've had a couple experiences that have been questionable but this last set I got filled for my acrylics I've have three nail breaks in one week and when I got first break fixed it looked nothing like the rest of my nails and was done very poorly. I wasn't even told to wash my hands before getting the nail painted so all of the powder and residue was all over my nail and it's much shorter than the rest.
