I contracted her via deposit and email correspondence in November 2023. Laura guaranteed I was "locked in" for my agreed upon wedding date. Three months later, Laura cancelled my contract in February 2024 on the basis that she had another wedding come up the same day. She suggested I contact three random makeup artists to replace her due to her inability to hold up contractual agreements and inefficiency. Now I am scrambling to find a new makeup artist 8 months before my wedding. Laura's consolation for bailing on me was a $10 gift card to Starbucks and a "good luck with your wedding". I would not recommend her to anyone that wants their wedding makeup artist to show up.
