You guys have the ingredients...for the love of a good bagel please fix you're ordering process! I have ordered from plenty of kiosks that make it nice and simple, even McDonald's allows some pretty easy customization or removals...but guessing what comes on a bagel and then adding your own notes with the hopes it comes out right??? And if you are going to be called "broadway bagel," you HAVE to able to serve an egg on any sandwich, it's kind of a rule. Very inconsistent in service. Sometimes very friendly and personable and sometimes I would go in and there would be someone behind the counter without any clue. The biggest issue is that you really should only come here if you want an overstuff, overpriced bagel sandwich. I was told that last time I went in they no longer sell single bagels. Just a really bad place to get a bagel but I'm sure its an okay sandwich. Do not call yourself a bagel place if all you sell is sandwiches. read more

When I'm in the area for a few days I make it a point to stop for bagels because they have been so good in the past. I'm really hoping today was an off day and not the new norm. The everything bagel was no better than one from the bread aisle at the grocery. Ordered a macchiato, then I noticed it was being made iced. Turned out the espresso machine was down. They were decent about refunding me the money for the drink. But made me wonder about what exactly they were using to make the drink, if the espresso machine was down. We had high hopes, but the bagel sandwiches are fairly expensive, and the wait is lengthy. Then we didn't even get the right food, so there's going to be another unhappy customer as well. The self-service kiosk was there, but appeared to be turned off, so we ordered at the counter. My husband says never again, he'd rather spend $13 getting a full meal, not just a bagel sandwich. Husband is from Long Island, NY. That makes this place necessary to him! Stopped in for sandwiches and to try a new drink. All delicious, helpful staff, and we are completely happy! He says this is as close to NY bagels as you can get in Central IL! read more

As a NYer myself I was a little skeptical.... When you walk into the store, you order on the kiosks to the right, and wait for your order to be called. Standing room only. A++ crust and texture on the bagel. We did get the bagels lightly toasted, there was an option to get it darker but we were happy with the temperature and crunch. The cream cheeses tasted delicious, but made for a very messy eating experience. Not sure how they are able to keep the cream cheese from melting so quick back home in New York but when you would get it toasted bagel, the cold cream cheese could stand up to it, and not be a sloppy mess. That is my own suggestion! Will be coming back to try a sandwich soon. read more

Service was great. Ambiance was new York ish, chrome and steel with wood accents. But let's get to the main event here. BAGELS and these are terrific crunchy outer crust with a nice shine and a chewy interior. Made a great ham sandwich on an asiago bagel and I used deli meat from Walmart. So you know the bagel has to be superlative to make it taste good. Have not tried other flavors yet since they were sold out of most when I was in the shop late in the afternoon. Will be back though, they need bakers dozen deals though so I can stash a few more to nosh on later in the day or heaven forbid toasted for breakfast. read more

Been 4 times even got there early. Always out of what I want to order. Also don't want to order at a kiosk when there's a person right there... everything or salt bagel toasted with cream cheese... don't need a computer for that. So I haven't tried their bagels just the disappointment of not getting one. read more

My wife and I were very optimistic about trying this place out because the pictures looked amazing! However, our drinks were completely wrong, wife ordered Matcha (usually green) she basically was served milk with not a hint of green! I ordered a hot drink but guess iced is the new hot in this day and age. We were excited for our food too! She wanted Asiago Bagels, we received plain. Wanted different sizes, they didn't serve those sizes anymore (probably should take it off your menu then) also should take off the ciabatta bread too (they don't serve that anymore) paid extra for the avocado (didn't get any on both the sandwiches. Luckily that was all that was wrong with my wife's food was the avocado, I got the turkey pesto, got the turkey, missing the sun dried tomatoes, and the pesto! All in all it was not that good of an experience. For almost $40 I'd expect at least something to be right. read more

Self service kiosks allow for the food to be ready quickly. The bagel sandwich was soft and warm. Definitely something Springfield needed was a good bagel. There isn't much space inside to eat in so plan for grab and go. Also, the coffee is very good! Tried the cinnamon dolce oat milk and it was yummy!! read more

Excellent breakfast spot. If you like bagels with schmear or if you like breakfast sandwiches, this place is for you. The kiosk is very easy to use, has multiple ways that you can customize your order. Staff is incredibly friendly. Food is great!! read more

I ordered a blueberry bagel toasted with cream cheese (all made inhouse) and the young lady working the lobby said that they had the biscuit and gravy on special today, I am a biscuit and gravy snob, lol and I have to say the gravy was the typical sausage gravy is good as expected but that biscuit, hands down best biscuit Ive had in Springfield EVER. read more

I visited again yesterday and was very pleased to see there is some dine in area now and also some outside tables. I want to add these are some of the nicest employees, so pleasant and helpful. All made for a nice pleased experience. Bagel was nicely toasted with butter. Loved the peach flavored ice tea. A good addition to food options. read more

So happy to have a "formal" bagel shop in town. Nice selection of bagels and cream cheese--- good quality. The cost is equal to the product so no complaints there. Haven't tried the other menu items but definitely looking forward to it. Again-- classic bagel and so satisfying! read more

Everything you order from a screen, which is fine except they don't list any ingredients. The clearly state some have meat or nuts and the others do not. You're automatically directed to go order from the screen, which does not make it seem open to questions. I ordered an item that clearly did not state it had bacon or nuts in it, like the others clearly stated. Come to find out while eating it, it definitely had meat. I asked in the future if this could be clearly stated, as there are many people that try to avoid certain ingredients for health reasons. The person working the front was very kind and understanding, but the manager told them that it's not their fault and they will not compensate my order. I didn't originally ask for compensation, I asked for clear markings, but the manager turning down someone who was trying to make it right is not a good customer service model. Also, from what I did taste, not the greatest bagel. Good option in Springfield, but after this negative experience, it's hard to support a business when they treat a customer so poorly who was bringing something to their attention to correct for future customers. As a vegetarian and someone allergic to nuts, I would avoid this place. read more
