My barber went on a 3-month vacation back in September, which left this guy searching for a substitute. Luckily right down the street was a bonafide men's barbershop, complete with barber pole outside. "Binh" is the man behind the barberchair and he is excellent. He told he was Old School and been cutting hair for over 30 years. Nice. I asked for a razor fade and got a proper razor fade (neck, line up, etc). He is a master with the straight razor. I was a walk in last week looking for a bald fade with short cut (2) on top, finished with a line up. Binh was available soon after I walked in and I must say that I was super impressed. Just went for my second time, the fade is great from the back but the sides are terrible, I also asked Tina for just a little off the top and I feel an inch or more was removed. Way too short for my liking. Highly disappointed with this haircut! Will not be coming back. read more

Binh is such a wonderful person and always has something fun to talk about when I go in. He gives a great cut and is very good at being adaptable. The shop has a cool atmosphere to it and he has some fun things to look at during your haircut. Clean environment. Barbers were wearing masks and were cleaning and sanitizing their assigned area after each customer. As for the service.. Binh took my 4 year old son close to lunch time (walk-in). He was very patient with my son who is scared of the buzzer and e sound of the blow dryer. He never had a successful haircut, but Binh was able to give him an awesome boy haircut! I looked for a new barbershop for my boys haircut and my husband. I read the reviews for Binh and thought I would bring my youngest. Tony cut his hair. Moved to Millbrae about a year and a half ago. Went through a few different spots before I just happened to walk into Broadway Barber one Saturday morning on my way to the bank. Had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy who asked many questions before getting started. We chatted during the visit and I felt like he really cared about me as a person not just a potential client. Not only was he friendly and inviting, but he gave me the best haircut of my life! I have never gotten so many compliments on my cut. Friends (some of which cut hair themselves), family, even strangers on the street asked me where I got my cut and commented on how clean the fade I got was. Needless to say, I have been back twice now since that first visit and will not be going anywhere else for as long as I live anywhere close to Millbrae. Highly recommend this spot. I walked past this place a few weeks back and saw an experienced barber handling a long razor so I knew I had to look up this place on Yelp.
