But where I had an issue was this.... the business is located inside of the "Xpress urgent care", and you have to deal with the front desk staff that works for them. I can't stress enough how incompetent and unknowledgeable they were. So some insight, I had a groupon that was expired, but clearly stated in BOLD writing that the value paid for the Groupon never expires and can be redeemed. First off the dude at the front desk says we can't use them cause it's expired.... then also says they have no way to redeem the groupon value... I asked why they sell the offer to groupon if they have no way to redeem it? After going into the back to ask a supervisor he came back out and said he's not able to accept it. At that point I asked to see their manager. I was then told that he wasn't there and we had to come back the next morning. I demanded to talk to whoever just told him we couldn't use it? Out walks balding dude in plaid shorts, obey tee shirt and flip flops(so insanely unhygienic in an urgent care) and says he can't redeem it. Again I showed him the clause in the groupon print out stating the value paid for the Groupon NEVER EXPIRES. He reads it, and with derpy, grumpy look on his face says ok and then starts to tell us about the dangers of cryotherapy and we could get chill burn, almost as if to try and dissuade us from doing the cryotherapy? At one point asked me if I knew it was going to be very cold, that's when I blurted out " yea I know it gets -200 Fahrenheit" cause I do my research. In a grump ass mood he walks away after ok'ing it. The front staff at this urgent care, which you have to go through, was completely incompetent. If I wasn't headstrong and sure of what we had, they would have succeeded in blocking our Groupon value. Chill cryotherapy should move out of that urgent care building because being associated with them is going to hurt their business. I can't stress enough how lame the people I talked to at the front were. They should be fired and work in a field where no public customer service is needed. Won't go back based purely on the Xpress urgent care you have to deal with.

My regular StretchLab flexologist was conducting a class for staff, so instead of waiting an entire…read moreweek for my next session with him, I landed here for a private assisted stretching session with Frankie via my ClassPass membership in order to fill the void. My regular flexologist is THE G.O.A.T., so it's not a fair comparison, but it was enough to tide me over until my next real session. Frankie was really sweet though, and he loosened up some tight spots. Frankie did mention that I was really flexible, which again, is a testament to the goat (and probably my Pilates workouts as well), and so some of the moves didn't really meet the edge of my flexibility. We didn't accomplish as much as I would have with my regular person who would have taken me a whole lot further, but again, my reg is a GOAT. It's also worth noting that they regularly charge $75 for a half hour session. That's highway robbery. Had I actually paid that for what I got, I would have been more than annoyed. Fortunately, I used ClassPass points instead. Also, I sat and waited in the wrong building for about 20 minutes. Wish they had clearer signage and/or directions in the "How to Get There" section of your ClassPass confirmation message. They could have also been more proactive about looking for me (especially when they saw that it was past my appointment time), instead of just letting me sit in the wrong building for as long as I did. Would I return? Well, I only get a certain number of StretchLab sessions per month, and sometimes there are more weeks in a month than I have available sessions. So in those cases, I would return...via ClassPass points only.

I was skeptical since this was my first time. I saw the reviews about feeling "energized" and "hydrated" after the IV drip. That was not my experience though. I didn't feel either of those things, but- I noticed something very strange on my drive home. Right after getting the immunity IV drip, I was driving home and realized that I could see perfectly clear! I'm talking 20/20 vision when I normally am blind as a bat!!! I have to wear my glasses to see far away. But wasn't wearing them this evening. I was SHOCKED that I could suddenly see 20/20 or close to that! About a year ago, I was diagnosed with pustular rosacea by one of the best-reviewed doctors and estheticians in Orange County. I'm a sucker for spas, beauty treatments, and do my research. As a backstory, I have a plant-based diet, eat pretty clean, exercise, and for the life of me could not figure out why I developed the skin condition as I never had anything like it before. There were no new lifestyle changes, and I did a diet elimination as well as tried every topical serum, holistic Healthcare diet, and even naturalist procedures to try to cure it; nothing worked. At some point, I realized that the once beautiful skin that I had was long gone and I had to make the best of life with what I was given. For someone who had beautiful skin, and given the fact that I'm a teacher and children look at my face every day and they're so brutally honest, in a way, it felt entirely debilitating that a huge part of my identity and lifestyle practice that I advocated seemed to nullify. There seemed to be a sense of shame that I was promoting a diet that would result in health, but with a look at my face, it seemed contradictory. My mental health started to slowly wane down the tubes, and I was getting increasingly forlorn. In a side rant to Rachel, the owner, she suggested that I try some of their treatments which are not only mild, but slowly rehabilitating, but state of the line and only available at a few select salons in the country. It was costly, but no actually on the cheaper side in a lateral comparison of the same treatment from other spas, but in retrospect, it was well worth the money as it restored so much of my dignity, happiness, and a sense of who I was before all of this. I only wish I had just done this treatment sooner than before. for those of you that are mid-30s like me that have suddenly developed acne when you never had it, or if you're a teenager with acne, I suggest you to really give this place a try. They're not going to give you strong chemical treatments that will strip your face of all of its barriers, they're completely dry your skin, nor will they suggest a hormone treatment...instead, these treatments attempt to restore and bring forth the glow that is within. Renouvele did just that. As an Asian, pustular rosacea is extremely rare and as such, there are little to no studies that show efficacy. Everyone, I have searched every long-term peer-reviewed article, called so many estheticians, naturalists, and doctors, and even considered plastic surgery as I wanted to just rip off my face; as a last measure, I gave Renouvele a shot. You won't see results after one session, but gradually, the results are profound. If I can go from Orange County's best esthetician telling me that there is no cure and way to fix this, and to actually finding a cure, you can too.
