Thought I would try a cheese steak pizza. WHAT could go wrong with peppers, cheese and steak on a pizza, right? WRONG! Don't know of ANY cheese steak sandwich I ever ate that came smothered with mayonnaise. So WHY for the love of pizza would you put mayonnaise instead of a tomato base or ANY base, on a cheese steak pizza!?;?;?!? All I could taste was mayonnaise, runny gooey mayonnaise. Been a fan for 9yrs. Unfortunately they have changed their ingredients, specifically the cheeses (very signature item) and their meats. Pepperoni as an example is what you would purchase from Walmart. Noticed this a few weeks back, hoped it was a fluke but was a company decision. We ordered a built your own pizza from Broadway Pizza to be delivered to our hotel when we stopped here mid way through a long road trip. The front desk clerk suggested this place when we asked for a GOOD pizza recommendation. It did not disappoint! The pizza was delivered much quicker than expected, was hot and delicious. The delivery driver was very friendly too. We got the medium size pizza and had enough leftovers to munch on through the night and then some. Wish we had one of these in our hometown! read more

First and last time trying Broadway "Pizzeria." They served me an undercooked pizza, practically raw. I gagged from the flavor of the dough and had to put it in my own oven to be able to eat it. I would have gotten a freezer pizza or made my own if that was what I wanted. Instead I went to Broadway, which my friend says is top 3 in Tuscaloosa, to get my girlfriend a "good proper pizza" for our date night. Got carry out from here in order to have a bite to eat without suffering Tuscaloosa game day traffic. This particular instance of Broadway Pizzeria is connected to a gas station, but you can't enter the convenience store from the restaurant, so it has a more complete, restaurant-type vibe than many other gas station restaurants. The individual who gave us our order was a little awkward but overall pleasant. This pizza is the kind where the toppings are buried underneath the cheese. Not really my style, and I panicked a bit thinking that they'd forgotten my pepperoni! I missed the crunchiness pepperoni develops if it's baked on top of the cheese - beneath the cheese, the meat winds up extra oily and floppy. Also, I'm guessing the cheese wasn't baked entirely into the pizza - it slid almost entirely off with every bite. I used a knife and fork to mostly negate the problem, but I wish I hadn't had to. The pizza also had a ton of grease on top and a slightly funky aftertaste - not sure if that's a result of the cheese or the pepperoni. On the bright side, the crust was AWESOME, and so was the dipping ranch we picked up. I mostly ate the garlicky crust with the ranch and ignored the cheese and pepperoni. My boyfriend liked his wings, but I thought they were a bit on the sweet side. Overall, an average experience. Dominos is cheaper and closer to us, but I might be willing to try a specialty pie and see if those are better. read more

Everything we've ever ordered (as a five member family), has been fantastic. I've ordered a number of calzones and a few different pizzas. My children love the cheese pizza and my wife loves the Hawaiian pizza and calzones. We have eaten here often from ordering out to DD, and they've never made a mistake on our order and they've always gotten the order ready in a reasonable amount of time. I guess it started with the new pepperoni ( it's GREASY oh so GREASY it makes the crust WET ) I started asking when they were going to get the old pepperoni back, I was told this was cheaper so here we go I'm not going to eat some where that they cut corners to save pennies ( FYI a LARGE PIZZA SUPREME cost just over $2..95 to make at Pizza Hut) so the eight inch pepperoni pizza that I ate here is maybe $1.65 I'm paying $8.51 so that's $6.80 +/- and I'm eating two sometimes three a day for two to three weeks out of the month it's just not worth the money to pay for something that I had no idea weather it would be cooked right or God forbid they find even cheaper pepperoni so I have to say goodbye and travel a few more miles to get what I likeReat grader can heee times a dAy here and now I get crap. read more
