This is one of my go to places for my foot-long hot dog fix, the other is in Delaware. Can't seem to find too many in Florida, unless you hit a Sonic. This is a seasonal business and open during summer months. Today was Sunday and it had good crowd. Ordering was quick easy however it was still a wait till my order was called, but expected for the amount of people there, tells you something. I got the foot-long with cheese, relish and raw onions...shoe string fries as well. When my order was called I came to the window paid and picked up. Found an empty table to occupy and began my feast. This is the total package when it comes to foot-longs. The rolls used are made locally and I believe the dogs are Dietz and Watsons and done on a flat top, not boiled. Can't get any better than this. Another road-side food shack under my belt. Peace.

The bananas were the perfect ripeness and meshed well with the other ingredients. I loved it! My husband had a mango pina colada freeze, which is like a milkshake. Again, the flavors blended well and their vanilla soft serve is outstanding so it brought the drink together. They take cash or card but do bring some cash for a tip for the hard-working staff. I found her demeanor to be condescending and dismissive, and I was disappointed by the arrogant way I was spoken to. For a family-owned business, I expected the owner to be welcoming and respectful. Because of this interaction, I'll be taking my business elsewhere, such as Sweet Melissa's, and I can no longer recommend this shop to others. They raved to us about the local creamery that made all of their own homemade ice cream, and had a very dynamic and rotating menu of flavors. As ice cream lovers, we were excited to give it a try! The inside is very eclectic with wall to ceiling DIY murals, and what appears to be thrifted seating inside. The women at the counter were nice but not very welcoming, just kept to themselves and tried to keep the long line moving as fast as they could. Important to note - they're CASH ONLY. Despite all of the unique flavors, I felt a bit limited (to be honest). Very little topping options as the ice creams are designed to have the toppings inside. This makes it hard to get any degree of customization if there's a flavor you like but has one or two no-go ingredients (which was the issue I had most.) The temporary flavor I had was fine, but didn't blow me away or seem any more special than my local spots back home. I think this is an interesting place but I think if I was local, this wouldn't be my usual spot. They truly cater to people who have an adventurous palette and like trying new things, which limits the kind of guests you can attract, or friends you can bring along. (I personally find something I love and tend to stick with it for ice cream, which would be difficult here. And most in my family don't seem to be as adventurous.)
