Love the Papa Louie and the Art Burger. . A nice friendly place to get a good meal and have a beer/drink.

    Something Joe's. It's a sausage grinder.

Wow. This is a hidden gem in Pueblo and as historical as any other in town. It is small but not too small. The crowd is friendly locals. There is a lot of history in dem'der walls literally! Ask about it!! Loved looking at all the old pics on the wall inclusive of the Italian Sportsman Club and my hubbie's fave Dan Marino as a young man was all teeth! The food is amazing and a perfect place to take our out of town guests to kind of get a taste of some local Pueblo faves. A grinder which they call Joe's something. Chicken tacos on white and the slopper. We also tried the reuben in which the corned beef is spiced, brined and cooked all by them. All their food is made fresh daily. The meat ground there. Buns from a bakery around the corner. And it hand's down beats any of the other jaunts in Pueblo who do the same meals. Hence they offer a lot more on their menu. There is one pool table. The beers are ice cold. The server, owner and patrons are super friendly. Stop by as you will not regret a great meal and some cold ones here!!!

Pros: Walking in the hostess was helping another couple but did acknowledge us. She went to sit the couple and another staff apologized and said that she will be right with us. We were sat outside and immediately were given water. Our waiter, who I can't remember his name, talked to us and took our drink order. My husband ordered a beer and me an iced tea. He gave us a few minutes before coming back to take our order. We started with the green chili fries and when they came out they were very good. I do wish there was a little bit of spice to it, but not a con. I even ordered a cup of green chili with my shrimp tacos. And my husband ordered the slopper. I loved the shrimp tacos, that I got the lettuce instead of a tortilla. I would highly order and recommend. Husband loved the slipper. He said if you don't see the fries or bun, assume your eating it all. Our waiter is very knowledgeable and was quick with his recommendations. He answered a burger question when asked and took his time with us. We did not feel rushed. My husband also ordered a beer flight and found some he enjoyed. All the staff worked together and matched our personality. Well, my husband's personality. We ended up ordering 3 cups if green chili with their chips. The salsa had a nice kick, mild kick, because they added green chilis to it. It tasted home made. When we had a minor issue with the bill, our waiter took charge and without hesitation took to fix it. We of course had to order dessert. Our waiter came back within minutes to inform some of the desserts were sold out but offered a replacement. I got the peach pie and my husband got the chocolate cake. The peach pie was a perfect mini size Cons: My husband was surprised the manager wasn't walking around ensuring everything ran smoothly. I honestly don't see it as a con. Also, the parking lot is small and when it gets busy I can see walking from another block over. There are 3 spots for the hotel and 4 spots that are a 2 hour limit. Recommended? Absolutely yes. Great food and excellent staff. Everyone here is friendly and seems excited to help the customers. We will definitely be back. And maybe stay at the hotel and walk over to enjoy a hamburger or more shrimp tacos with a cup of green chili

Since we hadn't been here in five years, I mentioned to our waiter how much I was craving a bowl, and he went out of his way to make it happen. That level of service alone made the visit memorable. I also ordered the Velvet Smoke mezcal cocktail, and wow, it was exceptional. Smooth, perfectly balanced, and not too strong. The smoky notes were present but not overpowering, and the nixta slate liqueurs, or heat and bitters brought everything together beautifully. Great service, great drinks, and a team that's willing to go the extra mile. Definitely worth the stop.

I had the chicken tikka masala from Bollywood Bites--absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. I also grabbed a couple of drinks from the bar, which were just as good. What really stood out was the atmosphere--lively, welcoming, and very family-friendly. There's something for everyone, and all the food portions we saw coming out looked generous and worth it. It's the kind of place you can relax, try different foods, and enjoy the vibe. I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in Pueblo!

The description on the menu says "Vanilla Vodka, Luxardo Espresso Liquer, Simple syrup". Sounded like a pretty standard Espresso Martini. The glass arrived and it was the color of chocolate milk. I asked the bartender of it had Bailey's or something in it and she said, "yes". I pointed to the menu and noted that the menu didn't say anything about Cream. She said, "That's the way I make it." I asked her if she could make it like the menu and she said, "Yes, but it won't taste good." I asked her if she could make one with just a little of the cream liqueur, and she said, "Are you going to pay for other one?" I was like, "What the hell?!?! You make the drink different from the description and you expect me to pay for it?!?!?" I don't know if that's a Colorado thing or something, but I wanted to just walk out. This bar sucks.
