I love this shop, today I went for the second time to repair a vintage Seiko watch from my granddad, and it took no more than 10 minutes for the fix at a very reasonable price. The store itself is small but a wonderful workshop with classic tools and equipment that are, of course, still in excellent working order. It feels like you are walking back in time when you go inside. Note that it's not immediately obvious where to find the store: there are two stores with "20 W 47th st" listed as the address. Go to the store on the right (all ground level no elevators), then walk to the very end. Once you get to the back, turn right and walk to the end of the hall. Voila you are there, you'll see the sign for Precision Watch Repair

All hail Mikhail. He tamed the notoriously inaccurate Seiko 6R35 movement in my watch for a reasonable price.

$15 for a bracelet resizing (pin & collar). Quick and easy. Repeat customer.

Two watches so far and very happy. Tucked away in a cubicle all the way in the back, but worth the hunt.

I happened to be in Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan today, so I ran over to Grand Central Watch to get an estimate. I was really upset because my wife bought me this watch on vacation years ago, so there is a sentimental attachment to it. The owner saw that I was stressed out and she looked at it, turned around, fixed it in about a minute and handed the watch back to me. I was really nervous because I didn't know how much it was going to cost. I asked: "How much is the repair?" She replied, " There is no charge. Just leave me a review on Google." I couldn't believe it. I didn't know there was any place left on earth like that. How could I not leave a review after that? Five stars!!!!!!!
