Noticed a leak in my front yard but couldn't tell if it was from a sprinkler head or meter box. Called Brock Plumbing on Friday expecting to be able to make an appointment in a couple of weeks but to my surprise he asked if tomorrow, Saturday, would work. I said absolutely and scheduled between 11AM and 1PM. Ramon arrived at 12:15 and had the issue diagnosed before he came to the door. Turns out it was a bad sprinkler valve assembly. This company is excellent! We've used them previously but this last call just tales the proverbial cake. We had a repeat leak at the street that the city told me was my problem, and turned off my water without telling me....I called Brock Plumbing and was told it might be a while. I explained that I have medical issues that require frequent trips to the bathroom. Mel came out and said he would order the part, he called and said he's be out the next day. My tub backed up and the water would not go down. I have one of those home warranty service accounts (*sigh*) and although they marked my needs urgent, they could not send a dispatch for ten (10) days and then added an excuse that plumbers don't work on weekends when the opposite is true. Brock Plumbing - Had them cut concrete and replace 3 Galvanized pipes with Copper pipes $850. Overpriced to begin with . A year later water starts coming up through my concrete . They sent out the guy that did the job originally and he agreed to fix it at $450 and I was hesitant at that, thinking it should be a warranty issue . So the worker and his Boss show up on Monday Morning and said I was lowballing his worker on the price and said it will be $850:because he has to stand there and watch as he is bouncing up and down huffy and puffy , very rude . So in not so kind words I told them to Leave . I had the concrete taken out and upon inspection it was spaying a very fine mist 12 in. Deep at the pvc 90 degree fitting in the ground . After we removed the pipe and unscrewed it . The pipe was only installed 3 threads and the female threads were full of rust and glue from the old pipe , So it cracked the pvc fitting when installed or possibly when they took out the old pipe . I am a retired General Contractor and had a plumber here and we know that they caused this at installation and it took 2 days for the water to drain from under the slab , so it had been leaking a long time. I called their office to tell them what we found and they chose not to accept any responsibility. To sum up : They have a fleet of nice new trucks with high overhead , don't warranty their work unless they charge you again , and are very rude . As a building contractor of 20 yrs never have I ever met a plumber or any subcontractor that would not accept responsibility for there workmanship or inspection of there work to determine the cause .. read more

Very satisfied with the work Brock Plumbing did replacing our water heater. Responded to the online request within 20-25 min of me submitting it. Really friendly setup an appointment for an estimate that day. The window she gave was long, but they came at the top of the time frame. They came to the house in total compliance with COVID rules. Looked the situation over quickly (the problem was obvious) gave me the best quote I got ALL day. It included the new water heater, not just the labor. Once we were ready they gave me an appointment for the next day...yay! They gave me another wide window of time, but again they came in the earlier part of the time frame. Actually they were early. Did the job in the quoted time frame installed the correct water heater (for a manufactured home), a BETTER water heater.  The cost was what they quoted the day of the estimate NO surprises, the only extra cost was for hauling away the water heater so ask at the estimate if you need that, it's not much at all.  The new one looks so professional and works great...and with a shut off. We had a leak somewhere on the property. These guys looked and looked and looked for two days but couldn't pinpoint the leak because the old pipes were under 2-3 ft of dirt. They did really try hard for 2 visits. We knew we would have to change our main line and it would cost a few thousand $. Was in a bind, recently. At 4:30pm, one evening I found my 1" water feed line to the front yard irrigation manifold was leaking steadily. Freaked out a bit, since I did not have much daylight left to do a fix myself and also concerned about water waste. I called a couple local plumbers, but they advised me that their day was pretty much finished and I'd have to schedule next day in the afternoon. Still thinking about water waste, here. My wife advised me to call Brock Plumbing, which I immediately did. Bernadette, in customer service, was so helpful. She calmed my nerves with her wonderful demeanor. Bernadette dispatched Ramon to my home. Within 45 minutes he was here. We talked a bit about my problem and a solution. I called Brock Plumbing two days before Tropical Storm Hilary was to arrive in our area, my drain in the backyard was plugged. The technician they sent to unclog my drain on Friday was Michael. After three hours of running an industrial snake through the pipe from the street to the backyard and from the drain in the backyard toward the street and getting roots it was determined by Michael and myself that concrete was needed to be removed and drainpipe replaced. Michael returned on Saturday at 8 am spent some time mapping out where the drain line was actually and not where I said it was located. Michael determined that concrete was not needed to be removed, we did have to sacrifice two Jasmine plants, they were six feet tall with multiple two to three inch trunks, the pipes were running under the planter. When Michael completed the repair at approximately 6 pm he had to remove two huge 25 year old Jasmine bushes, dig inside a planter 16" wide and about eight feet in length four feet deep filled with dirt and roots being careful to avoid damaging two electrical conduits, a one inch water line, and a one inch gas line on which the drain pipe lay on top. After replacing seven feet of drain line michael flushed all drains until they all ran clear. Michael completely cleaned the work area except for the Jasmine trees he couldn't put into the organic recycle bin, I let him know I would take care of what was left. The bill came to the agreed upon price Michael gave me before he started the job. Final Note: when Tropical Storm Hilary reached us on Sunday it rained all day the water started to back up but the drain kept the water from reaching the house. We have used Brock Plumbing for several services over the years and are pleased with their service. Each time it's been Michael who's performed the jobs. First it was a backup in our kitchen sink that required a 100-ft snake to unclog. Next was our main line leaking sewage out front of our house. Michael came out within a day or 2 and found roots had intruded and broken the line going to the street. He took the time to show me with the camera where the break was and gave us a no-pressure cost for repair which the service call fee would be applied toward. I spoke with friends and family who are licensed plumbers (but not local) to determine the best options for repair between adding a second cleanout vs not and then ran these by Michael, who respectfully discussed both options and left it up to me, stating that he would charge the same fee either way I went. They did the repairs in a timely manner and lowered the cleanout so that it no longer stuck out about 5" above our river rock, making it better than it was before. Most recently our water heater pilot assembly went out and Michael quoted us for repairs. We agreed and got a call the next day that the part price had gone up and wasn't in stock, but we opted to still proceed because it was still way less than buying a new water heater. Michael came on a Friday evening to install the new parts and while he was in there discovered early signs of the tank starting to leak, so instead of just installing the non-refundable part he offered to keep it for a future customer's repair needs and install a new water heater instead. It was getting late and we were concerned about looking at waiting until Monday for a new water heater after a week now without hot water, but Michael offered to come on Saturday to complete the repairs. He started draining the tank right then to save time installing the next day and got it done for us. No more cold showers or trying to get to the gym to get warm water! Even though it was more expensive, we were ultimately happier knowing that the new heater came with a warranty whereas the repair had none, especially after finding out the existing tank was starting to fail. Michael even mentioned their website had a coupon going on at the time for our particular service. The lady who answers the phone has also always been courteous and it's nice to talk to the same person each time. Little behind on writing this yelp review. About two months ago, We were doing a remodel and have not liked the plumber our client hired for the project. A good plumber is a necessity for house flippers. Heard of Brock thru a retired contractor that enjoys mentoring me thru all the craziness of remodels. We got bids from several local companies(or at least those who claim to be local but then I discover farm out the work to others and pay them poorly). Brock was the cheapest overall and had all the credentials I know to look for as well as a good size crew for my project. So far, Mel and crew has done great work, including helping us pass our inspections & identifying a cheaper fix for sewer repair. They work hard and smart, with expertise my investment needed to both do it right and keep costs down. Unlike my fellow flippers, I refer my favorite helpers to others. This was my first time using Brock Plumbing. I had a great experience from the beginning. When I called to make an appointment the woman I spoke with was extremely nice and helpful. We had a plugged up kitchen main sink and leaks in a island sink. Made an appointment with Brock for 9:30 -10 am today. Brock arrived at 9:15. He is a fast worker and very knowledgeable. He has been in business for 30 years and is a sole proprietor. Before he tried a snake...which is the go-to for most franchised plumbers...he suggested trying a water blowout. He had to do considerable work under the sink todo this because the original contractor did not worry about removable pipes. Long story short...he did both jobs inside 2 hours...installed a new garbage disposal to replace the 30 year old leaky island disposal and gave me a bill that was far below what I expected. They gave us a two hour window in which they would be there and they claimed they showed up after the window and no one was around. They never called to let me know they would be later. Called this outfit a couple of days ago for a simple drain clean-out. First I had to ask the guy to take me off speaker phone so I could even hear him. Scheduled between 2-4pm for the next day (took repeating the address 4 times for it to finally sink in). Stayed home to be here, the plumber didn't show up until 5:35.
