I believe they are brick oven so you do get that nice char on the crust. The wine flights were tasty and the cost is extremely reasonable. I will definitely be back. I was told they sometimes have a comedy show and live music.

Since we had a lot to carry, we decided to stay inside for a bit, and I'm so glad we did. We started chatting with the owners, and they shared such a sweet story about the winery and their friendship. It honestly made me and my best friend look at each other like "okay, should we open a winery too?!" lol After we finished, we got a bottle of the "Best Friends" red wine, which was perfect for us, and then headed outside to enjoy the weather. They're still receiving shipments of excellent and well-priced wine, in addition to a variety of gift items. As anyone knows who's been to the shop, the proprietors, Kevin and Vinny are as nice as nice can be. The other day Vinny texted me photos of recent imports that he thought I'd like. (We stopped by, and he was right!) If you're COVID compliant, know that the store is too. Staff and patrons are masked, surfaces sanitized and a lucite shield is up to protect you when checking out. In addition, they use UVC germicidal lamps at night for extra protection. While it's not yet safe to resume their signature and party-like tastings, plans are in the works for different events, notably outdoor movie nights. Parking is easy and credit cards are accepted. Like always their "wine lovers loyalty club" is in effect: a free bottle -- maximum value $19.95 -- with every twelve bottles purchased.

There was live music inside, creating a cool and relaxed atmosphere, and everyone we met was incredibly kind. My wife mentioned that her favorite wines are Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc, and the staff immediately offered her two great options to taste. She ended up choosing the Sauvignon Blanc and enjoyed every sip. We sat outside under the covered area along the building and took in the beautiful view of the vines -- such a peaceful setting and perfect for entertaining or just unwinding. Although we saw a food truck on the way in, we didn't try it, but we did notice a family enjoying a picnic, which was a nice touch since you can bring your own food.

We walked in and were greeted by...no one...ever. We took a quick look around, looked at the menu and walked around for over 8 minutes, never to be acknowledged ONE TIME. It was honestly uncomfortable. We really wanted to belly up to the bar and have a drink, but it just wasn't in the cards for this place...at least for us. As folks visiting downtown Cartersville for the first time, we were disappointed by our service here. The other reviews seem positive, but our Saturday afternoon drop in was far from 5 star.
