Summary: This is a tricky one because I like the services…read morethey provide, and so far their products have been of a good quality, the staff is professional and helpful, but still I feel they are missing that personal relationship you need to have with your bike's "doctors". Technically they have done a great job every time, but personally I feel there's something missing. The Experience: I had a bike, I had my go-to bike shop, but after my bike got old enough to require more money in fixes and repair than what a new one would have cost, I decided to get a new one... almost two years ago, mid pandemic... when bike inventories were low, prices were climbing, and wait times were forever. My regular bike shop was out of models within what I was looking for... so I shopped around and ended up choosing one from Cycle World. I bought an Hybrid Giant Cypress. The salesperson was helpful and knowledgeable, and the store worked with me with a new store credit card. I returned for the first "free" tune up, but a few months later I returned to my regular bike shop for the next tuning, for no other reason than I already have an established relationship with them and they are close to my job so it's easier to get around there. Then I started using my bike a lot more than the previous one, so I started needing more stuff and started working more often from home, so I ended up trying several stores/shops, mainly depending on where I was at the moment I needed something, including returning to Cycle World a couple of times. So far, they've had everything I've needed, and their work has been impeccable, they are helpful, they explain well, the store is organized and easy to navigate... the prices are within the average (well, there are a couple of things on the expensive side, but then again, there are also some good offers)... However, I like to have the more personal treatment I used to have... Other than that, I do recommend Cycle World 100%.

Zero stars I thought i was considered a customer of this…read moreplace given the fact i bought my first brand new bike here 3 months and some days ago, every business i know their goal is to keep the customers coming , apparently thats not the case with the general manager that gave me the run around told me he was going to call me and never called me as well as the sales manager manuel , that not only wasn't very informative about maintenance prices for another preowned bike that i got , which i understand if the sales manager does not really know no big deal just ask and call me back but not even he just gave me rough prices and started telling me that the chain might need replacement the bearings this and that without really addressing the main question and on top of that knowing that i got the first bike brand new 3 months ago for $850 from there i was trying to give them that bike i got from them as store credit meaning whatever they give me (ofc not what i paid for it but at least decent money) i was going to spend every cent of store credit on maintenance for other pre owned bike i got and maybe some accessories and the sales manager manuel tells me he can give me $200 store credit its even disrespectful knowing i got the bike from there for $850 and knowing i was planing to spend everything and more money on accessories and maintenance , i definitely wouldn't recommend this place to nobody they just smile when you buy an overpriced bike and when you need maintenance or anything else youre simply thrown aside go to market place he said or to another place.. incredible

I can tell Willy is a genuinely nice & helpful person by nature who has a true passion for this stuff. He helped me one day that I was pretty much stranded w/ a damaged pedal on my way home & fixed it for me w/ no problem whatsoever. He also gave me advice on what I needed to do next & even followed up w/ me the next day to see how my bike had been holding up. The owner & the other bike mechanic also seem like very nice people; overall, very down to earth, respectful, & professional. Good prices & efficient too! Can't beat that! I can honestly say that whenever I'm in the Brickell area & need anything for my bike, this will be my go-to shop & so should you. They have said it before and I will say it again,…read more Unfortunately my neighborhood bike shop has a non-empathetic, sneaky, zero customer service skills, it's probably about time to retire, type of owner running the show. Because of my bike geometry, I called beforehand simply asking if I can come in for an opinion on where I should install an attachment on my bicycle. I just wanted an expert opinion and I wanted to test this stores customer service, in case I decide to return; never, even if you paid me. I get the approval and I'm on my merry way. As soon as I arrive, I am not greeted by this owner, instead, I had to explain again that I need to install the plastic piece that holds a lock in place, so that you can ride your bike without having to carry your lock around. He says "my mechanic can do it for you, $10". As a reminder, I called beforehand for an opinion on a simple item that anyone can install and this is not what drove me to write this review. This owner, Sam, knowing that my Carbon Fiber bike cannot and should not have any clamps with pressure on the bike. So, his employee finally had to speak up to give me the information and opinion I asked for, after asking several times, which was to not install this on the bike. You wanted to make $10 only to have one of your locals destroy their bike and maybe even injure themselves because of your less-than-moral business practices. I have no other words other than to strongly recommend you take your business to Willie's on 79th or Miami Bicycles on 125th. Sam P., It's time to give up the keys to someone who truly cares and knows what it means to own a real bike shop.
