He did the preliminary inspection timely, then outlined the rest of the process and gave me a couple of tips that saved us time overall. I loved this place and will be back next month for my safety check! The owner saved me money and a headache! My safety check doesn't expire till March, and I came in February. If he would've completed it then and I'd be out of sync with my car registration. I will wait for March and get it done then so the safety check and registration happened in the same month. I also see that when reviewers have called him on his rudeness he always blames the reviewer. You can do that. I'm accustomed to what I have come to call "Maui service"...long lines, delays, indifference, and the like. But the customer service here--if you can call it that--was next level bad. I felt like Robert was surly and rude to me...and I'm not a particularly thin-skinned person. I won't reward his behavior with more business. I always dread when it's time for my safety check because with most places it's all about going at the right time before there's a line, which usually means getting there a couple minutes before they open. Well, this time I didn't feel like driving into town to my usual spot, so I looked for one near my work place, so I could just go during then. Thanks to yelp I found two very close by, one whose reviews weren't that good & this one, which made my decision very easy. I saw they opened at 9:00, so I got there around 9:15 & to my surprise there was no one there!! Yesssss!! Signage was very clear you park your car in the stall & go through the door. Make sure you have all your papers in hand ready to go with your cash. I was then asked for my keys & my car was driven into the garage, where he then performed all the needed tasks. Even better, I didn't even have to do a thing. My car was driven back out & I was outta there in no time. Highly recommended if you live in the Kihei area! read more

I needed to get our safety check done for our car so I started doing a bit of research. Bronco Garage was at the top of the list and close to our condo. I had a few meetings in the morning that dragged on a bit longer than I had hoped which pushed me into the lunch hour. It was raining a bit so I decided to just get the safety check done and try to go to the beach later. Solid choice! When I showed up they were just finishing up the car prior to me and the gentleman at the counter was very efficient and wasted no words. "Registration and insurance". I had both in my hand and we were on our way. After he input some info into his computer he asked for the keys. Our car was pulled in, given the once over, and the process was soon done. He called out from behind the counter "$26". I handed over some cash. The new sticker was placed, paperwork was handed back to me, and I was on my way. Couldn't have been any easier or more efficient. I will be returning each and every year. Thanks for being great at your job! read more

Avoid if you value being treated like a human being. There's nowhere to park and no signage to tell you where to park. I pulled up and I'm greeted by a rude man yelling that I cannot park there that I need to move and that he cannot do my inspection because my license plate is not mounted on the front of my car when I explained that it has been taped before he yells at me who who like he's a darn owl . Then he starts yelling that he doesn't have what I need. I don't need to be yelled at I will go somewhere else gladly . Rude, unfriendly and truly unhelpful. Piss poor customer service. Go somewhere else the reviews are deceiving. You shouldn't yell at people and raise your hands when you don't have an answer. read more

This guy copied his old employers business (just around the corner), and almost their brand name. This guy Robert should not be in business in my estimation. I've been here 4 times with my car and my wife's for safety inspections, no problem in and out. Today I go in, go around the front of my car notice my plate bent down from a car wash I just had. I bend it back up into place turn around and noticed him shaking his head like I did something wrong. I asked him why he's shaking his head at me ?I guess he thought I had it taped on. The plate is bolted on the front no problem before. I felt like he was getting confrontational. I don't know why you would treat a customer like this,It made me so uncomfortable. read more

For some reason they are not listed in the Safety Inspection categories of Yelp and unless you know the name of the place, you will never find it! Poor rating based on how I saw him treat another customer. I walked right in and got my car through inspection but I have a newer car. The women in line in front of me came in with an older VW (early 2000s). She gave the guy the keys, he pulled it into the garage, popped the hood, and then started manhandling the hood when it wouldn't immediately open (like bending the hood). The woman looked up, saw this, and ran over saying she 'could help with it'. By then he had already broke it. He initially tried to fix it for a minute or two but when other people started walking in, he got nasty, told the woman it was already broken and to 'call the cops' if she really thought he broke it. She was asking him to fix it but he told her to get her car out of there and kept telling her to call the cops. This dude showed his true self when he was in a tricky spot, real dirtbag. I had let my inspection lapse and had taken time out of work to do the inspection so I did get my car inspected here, but i will NEVER return to this garage. We need more aloha than this on island! read more

If there is zero star, I will give to this rude guy, when you talk to this guy you will feel like you were his slave. He drive you car in his garage open the hood and slam the hood so hard. I recommend to go to the other garage in the same area "All Star Garage". read more
