saucy Beans ,hardly any rice and enough cheese to cause a traffic jam --burrito.

Our family has been going to Bronco's for quite a while, mostly because it's convenient. We've never confused it with great or particularly authentic Mexican food, but it used to at least get the job done. After this last order, I think we're finally done. We ordered a bean, rice & cheese burrito, a chile relleno burrito, four chicken tacos, and an al pastor torta. Somehow, almost everything managed to disappoint in its own special way. The torta was mostly bread with a rumor of al pastor. Very little meat, very little toppings. Apparently restraint is the house specialty. The bean, rice & cheese burrito had enough beans and cheese to patch drywall but barely any rice. Whoever is building these burritos has absolutely no concept of balance or ratios. The beans were bland, unseasoned and disturbingly viscous. Beans should not have the consistency of diarrhea. There. I said it. The chile relleno burrito was equally forgettable. The chicken tacos were probably the worst part. Dry chicken sitting on dry, stale-tasting tortillas. Nothing fresh about them. It tasted like somebody found yesterday's tacos and decided they deserved another shot at life. Bronco's has never been amazing, but this was impressively bad. The food lacked seasoning, freshness, balance and apparently pride. At this point, save your money. Covina has too much Mexican food around to voluntarily subject yourself to this. Convenience kept us coming back. This meal cured us of that.

Broncos really pulled through for me! I had a large group to feed and they provided a massive spread for my team! And everyone loved it!!

New menu board at Bronco! Now you can see every item! All the tacos. All the plates. All the beverages. EVERYTHING!!

We are regulars here so our average is a 4/5. Love the staff. Truly a bunch of "good eggs". Food! There is truly nothing bad on the menu. Burritos. Excellent. Love that I don't have to ask for no pico. Hate that stuff. The green salsa is way better than any pico de gallo! Tacos, be they hard or soft, are delish. Sister will get the quesadilla. She likes it a lot. Dad's gotten the enchiladas and likes those. Dad and I split the torta. Has fries on the side so more than enough for two. I like the chicken best but steak is cool. Nachos are generous with all the standard toppings. I get guac on side cause it's the mixed guac that has onions & tomatoes in it. Sister likes it, though. They have cocido but have not gotten around to that yet! Their soda bar is Coke products. If you are dining in they do a small selection of beer on tap and Modelo & others in bottles/cans. I have never taken pctures but will the next time we go, including dating the pictures for the menus. Did I mention they got new video screens?

The staff are very welcoming and genuinely warm. The restaurant has cozy and inviting ambience. Outdoor and indoor seating are available. I placed an online order for pickup. It served with sauteed bell peppers tomatoes and onions, rice, guacamole, beans and pico de gallo. Just over priced wanna be mexican food. The place wasn't packed, but there were a few booths open and tables. I requested a booth, but those were reserved. Hmm, why?? Anyways, my guy and I waited to order a beer, nothing exciting but the waitress finally came. She took our drink order, sometime passed when she returned to tell us the bar was backed up. Really? One bartender on a Friday night? She finally brought the beers but no chips and salsa. Like I said wasn't busy. Then she took our food order.. Here is how it went. I ordered the (4) taquitos ala cart. My guy ordered the combo hard taco with enchilada. The chips came but they were stale, salsa was good, but I was hungry so I sacrificed. My taquitos came out with a small spoonful of guac and strands of lettuce on the side, so they were dry. I bit into one and that had no fresh crunch, like they were already made and just reheated. My guys combo.. The enchilada was drenched in red sauce, no flavor he said and the taco was hard and stale too. He ordered just beans because the rice look like red sauce on rice, uggh! Needless to say, we won't be going back. Over rated for a so called "Mexican Cuisine" restaurant.. Oh, the waitress had a few tables, but didn't come to check in us, I had to ask for water, what a shame!! Did NOT order another drink, check please!!

This restaurant is in a strip mall with: DD's, Yoshinoya and Smart and Final on Azusa. We ordered these quesobirria tacos x4 $5 each,1 consome to share $1.50, and their surf & turf burrito $16. Did we expect the tacos to be better than the ones at Disney's DCA at a 10 rating? Especially since these were soft not fried like DCA's. No, but tell you what, these were an 8 since we are comparing. NOW, the next day, I heated up the leftover 2 tacos in my air fryer at 425 for 6 min. Guess what? They are a 10 out of 10, just like DCA's!!!! Fuego can you fry these up? I My husband and I shared the surf and turf burrito. It was large enough to share! Heavy, packed with moist rice, melted cheese, birria and shrimp. Only modification we ask for was no pico and no chipotle crema. The shrimp was freshly cooked on the plancha and to perfection (had a snap). I was worried at first, no one wants rubbery shrimp. This was by far our most favorite item, and probably the best burrito i've ever had!!!! My husband said he'll buy me my own next time. Sorry, I don't have a photo. We gobbled that up so quick. So now I'm thinking we should order burritos to eat now and order the tacos to take home for next day air fryer meals. Now we can skip on them at DCA and enjoy other things we love to eat at Disney .

We got served some good old fashioned chips and salsa, always a favorite. I think I saw a piece of mango floating in it but I could be wrong, as it did not taste sweet. Tasted quite peppery so maybe it was a bell pepper. I have no idea. Salsa did have a different taste than the usual onion, garlic, tomato, cilantro so I'm unsure what they do here. Chips were fine, not hot and fresh but had a nice crunch to them. Most Mexican restaurants I've been to have this similar combination option and I saw their menu had a combo with three items: one enchilada, one chile relleno and one crunchy taco. I thought, awesome, I get to try one of each and see how I like 'em. I normally get a taquito with my meal so I asked the waiter if it was ok to order this combo with a taquito or flauta in place of the crunchy taco. He said no. Not, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience but we don't allow substitutions, thank you for understanding, etc." Just, no. Ok...? Never been to a place that cared much about me subbing a taco for a taquito, unless the plates are preassembled with a crunchy taco, which doesn't make any sense. Thought that was a little off-putting but onward... We ordered the potato taquito appetizer that was listed on their menu. Plate arrives and it's huge - which made sense since it cost $18 - but they were all visibly beef taquitos. I happened to be dining with my vegetarian friend, hence the ordering of potato taquitos, so we kindly informed the waiter that we ordered potato and these were all beef taquitos. Waiter confusingly indicated that these were potato taquitos and we kind of glanced at each other like... uhhh, there's clearly shredded beef in there sticking out, so we pointed it out. Waiter looks again, points to one specific taquito on the plate and says, "Well, that one is potato." The waiter eventually clarified that the taquitos were actually beef with potato. I politely informed him that since my friend is vegetarian and the menu didn't specify beef in the taquitos, we couldn't accept or eat the dish. The waiter was pushy about it and suggested we just take them home and eat the leftovers. Dude no. I ordered potato taquitos and we're only two people, and this was a massive plate of around 15 taquitos. I don't have an air fryer or oven at home, either, so I really have no proper way of reheating and I'm just one person. Either way, none of this was something I felt was worth arguing over. Just take the friggin taquitos back. We sat there uncomfortably for a bit and waited for our main meals to arrive. Got my combo, and it was honestly pretty good. Flavors were fresh and vibrant, even the taco was good although I was bitter it was a half-moon fried piece of tortilla with beef instead of a rolled fried piece of tortilla with beef. :( It's a joke, chill. We finished and the waiter brought out the bill. We quickly left our cards for payment and in clear view for the waiter to pick up so we could leave and digest by walking at the mall or something, but he never came. He walked by a few times, cards were sticking out... still nothing. After 30 minutes, my friend says she thinks we have to pay at the front. Would've been nice to know about 30 minutes ago. Paid at the front, left, and I won't be coming back. Food was actually pretty good but it unfortunately did not outweigh the lack of service and overall experience of eating here. Parking was good, at least.

Jorge came outside multiple times, clearly saw how many people were waiting, and even recorded the crowd on his phone three different times for social media. Knowing the capacity of the restaurant, he could have easily informed everyone that the remaining people in line would likely not get in. Instead, we waited over three hours with no communication. While we were waiting, I repeatedly watched people call Jorge. He would come outside, greet them, and bring them straight inside. I personally saw this happen at least six different times. When it was finally our turn to speak with the host, we were told there were no seats left, that we would have to stand, and that we wouldn't even be able to order food. I confronted Jorge about letting those other groups in ahead of everyone else. His response was that he knew them personally and that they were friends of the restaurant owners. That explanation only made the situation worse. My wife had just finished a 14-hour hospital shift, and we came here hoping to enjoy the game together. Instead, we spent three hours waiting only to be treated as though our time didn't matter. What was most shocking was Jorge's attitude. He literally told me, "They won't do anything to me if you post this. I'm friends with the owner." If that's the mindset of management, it's no surprise customers are treated this way. It truly felt like only friends and family received special treatment while everyone else was left waiting without honesty or respect. I have no issue waiting when things are busy, but I do expect transparency, fairness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience showed none of those qualities.
