Then they washed and styled it, with curling that literally fell out within me paying and getting into my car. The photo attached is me 10 minutes after leaving the chair. They charged me $150 for that... I was not expecting that, maybe $50 or so, even though I didn't ask for the styling and the way she worded it made it seem included. So I asked what the $150 was for and $65 was for "halo try on" - so it is not free just FYI if you decide to go there and do a complimentary halo fit. The color Jose applies is perfect with my completion and the short angled cut works well with my jawline. Jose always takes the time to get my cut right. My hair is really thick so after he texturizes with his sheers, blows it out and flat irons it, he goes back in with the scissors to get the right angle of the style. I went in and asked for balayage and showed the stylist the model photo with light brown caramel highlights. She said it looked like my photo and it was just the salon lighting (??) but if i still didn't like it she would fix it in a few days. He ended up dying my hair red and in some places it legitimately looked pink. I told him this was too red and also not what I asked for and he told me it was the best they could do and now it will take a month for me to get to the color I asked for but only if I kept coming to him and having him fix it. When I came back and asked for a refund since it looked awful the stylist came out and yelled at me and told me that I don't deserve a refund and life isn't fair and that this is now my reality. I left and contacted the owner who was a despicable man who accused me of lying and said the stylists both said I left happy when that was clearly not the case. He also said both hair colors looked fine when they are both extremely unflattering and completely not what I asked for. He basically kept stringing me along saying he will contact the stylist and see if he could offer me a refund and never got back to me. Please avoid this salon at all costs. They do not know what they are doing and will verbally abuse you if you mention that they did not meet your standards.

I have Alopecia Areata and an Autoimmune Thyroid condition so I deal with hair shedding/fall-out and texture issues from time to time. She has helped to make my hair look healthy, full, and shiny. My needs are usually very simple. Long hair with gray root coverage. Although I did have balayage for several years. It looked really nice, but I use infrared saunas often and it can sometimes be drying to the hair so I've let the balayage grow out since. Whatever your hair needs are, give Damaris a try.
