Overall, I understand busy shifts can be stressful, but customers should still be treated with courtesy and respect. Better customer service and more consistency in the quality of the pizza would go a long way. Based on this visit, I don't see myself returning.

We walked in to four full tables, and four that were clearly unbussed and still dirty. Three servers are handling the four tables. We're greeted, and the first thing we're asked is if we'd "be okay sitting at the bar?" We told them about our reservation, and we're asked to wait a few minutes... while the servers went back to their other customers. Immediate red flag. It's still loud and cold, inside, with the owner and two other BoH members handling food orders. After we told them again about our reservation, we asked if we could sit on the patio. Nodding at each other and pointing that none of the dirty tables inside still had been cleaned, whatsoever. The young server that finally sat us invited to go over the menu as she went to "find out who would be helping us, this evening." (It turned out to be her, with obvious reluctance on her face.) We then waited ten minutes, with room temperature water and another couple eating takeout pizza, directly from the box, five feet away from us... On a night we both had planned for weeks. She inevitably came back, and we Immediately told her we needed to leave. There's no reason why three servers can't handle that lax of a clientele volume, while also bussing their own tables. If you're dropping around $30 a person on dinner, with the literal business owner present behind the counter, that level of blatant laziness shouldn't even be possible. We'll try again on a day expected to be busy. They clearly need some fire under their asses, and it's not coming from where it should be.

Take out | Dinner I have been ordering from this restaurant for quite some years now. I never ever had a problem with the orders/food as its one of the main reasons as to why I am a repeat customer. Great food and very reasonable prices. Today is Monday August 12th. Normally they have the Monday special which is a lg cheese pizza for $12.99. My kids never say no to this pizza when I say " Lets do pizza " , so I placed the call at 5:32 pm , and after being on hold for about 4 minutes ( not bad at all giving the time I placed the call) , someone came back on the line and took my order. My original plan was to order 2 pizzas and a additional order of 20 wings. The employee on the phone informed me of some current promotions and I placed my order , was told it would be about 25 minutes and was given my total. I get to the pizzeria around 6:10 pm , walk in , a employee comes up to the counter asks my name and I give my name , only for him to say " Oh man we got a problem, a big problem " . He proceeded to inform me that they are all out of wings . Now my initial reaction was disappointment as we already had our minds and our stomachs awaiting wings and pizza. However I am understanding and can completely let that go as they cannot control when things get delivered to their establishment. However the employee said " Oh I tried to call you a few times to let you know but didn't get an answer " . This is where I got super confused bc I have NO MISSED CALLS on Monday Aug 12,2024 from Bronx Pizza . I told him I have no missed calls and to please confirm the number he has on file for me , he proceeds to look in the system to then say " Oh I don't have a saved number on file for you ". Now if you called me multiple times, you would know what number you called . I then proceeded to tell him I will just pay for the pizzas to then be told they were not even prepared bc since he called me and I didn't answer they didn't make them. He then steps over to the phone and looks up the number he called still insisting that he called me to tell me he called 407-833-****. It was then that I corrected him by telling him my number is 407-592-****. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! So at that point, my order is not done bc the employee made a mistake by assuming he called me however does not take accountability that he did indeed call the wrong number/customer. I am upset at this point and it must've been a busy day or time as the employee is clearly frustrated and wanting to hurry me along so I decided that unfortunately we will not be having pizza tonight. I ask him his name and he looked dead at me and said " King , K I N G ( spelled it out ) and said Im the mgr matta fact Im the owner " ! My MO for writing this review is not to bash the food bc no matter the experience that I had today , the food is always always A1 ! The customer service that was given to me today was disappointing and even more so knowing that this comes from the owner of this establishment. To be passively aggressive with a paying customer, a customer who literally had no idea what was going on bc I never received the phone call, to then treat me as if I was the problem was not right in my eyes. No comping me a free topping on the pizza , idk a drink , something! All I got was attitude for HIS MISTAKE . While this doesn't deter me from ordering with them again , it would be great if this doesn't happen to another customer that was just trying to order some food to feed her kids. The attitude and the passive aggressiveness were absolutely not necessary ESPECIALLY when the ball was dropped on their part, or should I say K I N G's part. read more

This little spot takes me right back to the Bronx! The pizza is exactly how it should be--crispy on the bottom and perfectly greasy on top. It hits all the right notes. Fridays are my favorite time to stop by for the shrimp basket--it reminds me of the kind you'd get on City Island. The vibe here is super chill, just a laid-back neighborhood feel.
