Do you like Pizza? Of course you do! For some reason, I've never tried this place in my 9 years of living in East Orlando, and I have been missing out. I love pizza by the slice more than ordering a whole pie. It just tastes better when it's cooked, sliced, displayed and reheated to order. The crust is crispier, the sauce doesn't scorch your mouth, and you can try more than one kind of pizza. I tried the pepperoni which was good, but nothing to write home about as it had some coverage, but not great. The "white" pizza didn't have sauce and was delicious with dollops of ricotta scattered about. My large slice had 3 larger sections of the ricotta. The flavors were there, but the coverage wasn't all that great for me. The dough is legit with crispy outside and chewy inside, so that's a great start to the pizza. The other ingredients are of high quality, but something was slightly missing for me. I may try one of their specials as the slice method can get pricey. Pizzeria Valdiano has been located in the Waterford Lakes Town Center for years and years. My brother-in-law and sister have been going here for years and have brought pizza to my house several times over those years and honestly, I have never been impressed. Tonight, my brother-in-law and sister brought pizza, mozzarella sticks and garlic knots to my house and we had dinner. The company was pleasant, however, out of the pizza, mozzarella sticks and garlic knots, I can't say that anything was very good. In fact, to call any of the above mentioned foods even mediocre would be to reaching high with a grade. I think that frozen pizza or mozzarella sticks would be a better option than what Pizzeria Valdiano served us. I did not have the garlic knots, but my niece said that they were rather lackluster. Honestly, it saddens me that my brother-in-law and sister find this establishment acceptable. I found it pretty sad all around. There are better pizza places very close. Today was in the mood in having a pizza slice! I been wondering about Valdiano for quite some time and today we finally gave them a chance. They did not disappoint with basically what we were looking for ( something close to a slice like NY Pizza). We got the Cheese and Pepperoni pizza slice with one Garlic knot. We asked for the Pizza to be extra crispy on the crust and they did just dad (warning wait a few to take a bite because you will burn the roof of mouth). The reason for the 4 star is in relate to the garlic knot(great flavor but was undercook a tad bit) I know the price are a little on the high end but on Monday's and Tuesday's they have Large Cheese Pizza for 10 dollars. You'll have to order a pie to get this one, but it's worth it. You'll want garlic knots to share also!!The pizza has all the classic ingredients for lasagna, just used as toppings on the pizza. The inside had a few tables, so you can eat their or take it to go. The tables were clean. They fresh make anything not already in the case, so it may take a minute if you order a whole pie. The staff is very friendly and moves quick. Salads are good and fresh here also if you prefer a side salad or entree. The cannoli is a great pick for dessert if you have the room. I've had a few pizzas here. People love them! I think they're fine. Good enough but nott be err good. Know what I mean? And they're expensive. $20 for large pie with 2 toppings? That's like $4 too much at least. They use a lot of cheese which could be good but I find it makes the pizza too "soupy". Crust is fine. Not enough toppings for $2 each! And I would cook the pizza aa little longer. The cheese should have a little crispness to it on the top. The crust should have some char. Pizza wasn't good. We came to grab a slice of pizza between a Cooper's hawk wine tasting and playing golf at PopStroke. We ordered two slices of cheese, one slice of pepperoni, and one slice of valdiano. We were charged 18.95 at the register, tipped accordingly, then went to sit down. I thought that seemed expensive so calculated on my phone how much the four slices should've cost. It should've been $13.65+tax. We decided to not say anything since $5 wasn't worth complaining. When they delivered the pizza I asked for a side of ranch dressing. They came back to say I had to pay $0.50 per ranch, which is when I brought up the price discrepancy. The manager ended up coming out and acknowledged that we got overcharged for our meal (we got charged for drinks we did not order nor receive). They did not offer to refund us the extra $5 we were charged, nor any other way to compensate us. The pizza wasn't even good. Pizza there is pretty good, but I do have some grievances. The employees are always so friendly, and the food is mostly consistent. I am a regular and I just learned that when you are at the register paying, there is a place on the screen for you to put a tip. I knew at one time, the tips were split by the workers, which I loved. I did not mind. Recently, I learned that a while back this practice stopped happening, but the tip selection is still on the screen and is kept by the owner apparently. That did not sit well with me. Who carries cash anymore?!?! If you have no intention on allowing the workers to keep the tips the customer graciously offers for their service, then why is that option still available on screen? Shady practice if you ask me. I do enjoy their pizza, and the customer service of the employees is wonderful. If you visit this establishment either do not tip (if paying be card) or tip in cash because apparently, they are able to split those tips. Shame on you Valdianio's. read more

Came to grab a pie after some late shopping. The downside to this is that the chairs were up and the place was being mopped an hour before close so dining room was not an option. It would have probably been a tough dine because the AC was kicked all the way up and it was FREEZING! The worker mopping the floor seemed a little bothered that we had to walk across it to get to the register and without any greeting of merit almost reluctantly took our order leaning the mop against the register. Workers in the back were in their end of day routine as well laughing it up so there wasn't much customer service there either. We sat outside in mainly darkness as lighting was not great in the outside dining area. The pizza was brought to us and the thank you was warm. Ordered the large cheese pizza and grabbed a can of cream soda to wash it down. Pizza wasn't as good as I remembered but this could be attributed to the fact that I was already done at this point. This experience was a 2 star but I have eaten here before and remember being impressed so I'm not sure what happened. I will have to revisit and change/update my review if warranted. read more

I hosted an Italian themed dinner at work that was catered by Pizza Valdiano's. I ordered six dozen of their delicious fancy garlic knots that included four large cups full of marinara dipping sauce. The garlic knots were neatly placed in extra large pizza boxes and one of the staff members were kind enough to help me to my car, even though I was parked all the way near Bed Bath and Beyond because it was the weekend. When I set everything up, the garlic knots were the biggest hit of the night! By the morning, all of the garlic knots were gone and my coworkers were still asking for more! If only there was an option to put 0 stars. As their consistent customer of 6 months, the last two months were terrible. I always order the same thing and would always either get a sauce missing or get the cold slices that have been sitting on the display for who knows how long. Just today I ordered my usual again, and had to wait for twenty (20) minutes for one slice of cheese and a side. Mind you, only one couple and I were at the restaurant at that time, so it was definitely not busy (even then the pizza was cold again). I took a couple of extra bites hoping the slice only had just a sprinkling of onion, But it was full of onions. I asked for it to be redone to my specifications. And it was redone and came out quickly with thick cut raw mushrooms thrown on top. Made this known also to the owner, and he was visibly unhappy and just shoved my box on the counter and said gruffly, "Give her, her money back." Then he explained to me, that what I wanted, just couldn't be done. I've ordered at other establishments this way and the mushrooms were cut thin and somewhat stuck to the cheese when warmed up. And there were no extra ingredients on the slice that should have started out with only cheese. Yes and he did have an excuse of how the onions got there on the first slices.
