I really want to review this place and the customer service!!! I scheduled an appointment at Bronze Me Brazilian after realizing that my skin had barely seen the light of day this summer. I have very pale skin. I called at 8:26pm on Thursday crossing my fingers that I would find someone there that would spray tan me for an event I had to go to that Saturday. As usual I leave everything till last minute. I was lucky to find Geniana. She was about to leave, but she made room for me. I really appreciated that. When I arrived, Geniana greeted me with a big smile and great attitude. It really called my attention, especially when she had been tanning all day. She didn't mind explaining the whole tanning process and products she used and she answered all of my questions. It has been one week since my appointment and I'm still tanned. The salon is well decorated and her room is very neat. By the way, I loved the Maia Angelou's quote on the wall. I am a huge fan. The place is SUPER convenient for me, because I only had to walk two blocks from my work. I Yelped many Airbrush Tanning places around the Bay Area and I didn't find anyone that offers what Bronze Me Brazilian DOES!!! I will definitely come back and purchase some packages. I wish I could give Geniana 10 stars! I have been spray tanning for 3 years in SF. I would typically go to one of the Benefit Salons or Organic Shimmer in the Marina. I had tried a fast drying solution (3 hrs vs. 8) while traveling and started googling to find who offered it in SF. Luckily I found Bronze Me Brazilian. The solution is so good. It is not streaky or weird on my hands like Benefit and it all comes off gradually and evenly, which I haven't seen with other solutions. The color is so much more natural than the other places I used to go to and it lasts a full week+! I am not kidding. She also applies a moisturizing coat before and an anti-aging solution after the tan, which ensures your skin stays healthy. Beyond the great, high-quality product, Geniani, is unbelievably kind and professional. She really takes the time to make sure your tan is exactly how you want it to be, which I just did not get at Benefit and other spray tanning places. Honestly, as someone who loves spray tanning and only wants the best product, I could not be happier that I found this place! I have and would recommend it to everyone. read more

I am transgender, and was in search of a way to alleviate skin irritation as a dancer and swimmer, but was scared to try waxing for fear of being rejected or mistreated as someone with a marginalized identity in such a vulnerable setting -- Geniana was excellent! She was kind, warm, professional, and welcoming, and made every effort to make sure I was comfortable. As she went, she explained what she was doing and why, and checked in with me frequently. She made it clear to me that she valued and respected customers of all genders and sexualities, and wanted to be able to provide a comfortable and affirming service for folks who were feeling unwelcome or fearful in the industry at large. And, it was a really smooth experience! It was honestly quite painful (as expected), but she was efficient, thorough, and gentle - and I had no trouble with pain or irritation following the appointment. I recommend Geniana super highly to anyone, but especially other trans folks (or queer, or overweight, or disabled, or otherwise non-mainstream in the waxing world)!! read more

She is definitely worth the time and money. She also offers a $ 10 discount for first time clients. I was very happy with the results. It wasn't orange at all. She is a perfectionist. First time ever for Brazilian Waxing. My roommates were teasing me all the time for a Waxing instead of shaving. I wasn't brave enough till now. Geniana didn't lie that it would hurt. Sometimes the truth hurts but at least she was honest. Well, there I was laying down on the bed nervous to get my waxing done. She was very patient and explained the pre and post waxing procedure and tips. Plus, she was very fast. In 20 minutes, it was done. Thank you God!! Did it hurt? Yes, but I was expecting the worse. Did I like it? No, I loved it? My boyfriend loved it too. Am I coming back? It depends. I will come back only if my boyfriend waxes his private parts too. This is the first time I have ever received a chest and back waxing & also the first Yelp recommendation I have ever submitted !!! I was pressed for time yet the proprietor was was prompt & prepared. She explained to me the entire procedure before she started. She was very professional and calm. I really like the results!!! The studio is very clean & neat, which really called my attention as I am an OCD/Clean Freak. The only problem is parking in San Francisco. It is ridiculous. It took me at least 25 minutes to find a decent parking spot as the garage around the place is kind of expensive. Geniana is a wonderful waxer. I am a wax only kind of gal that has been waxing for years and had experienced it all rom burning me, using shitty wax, doing large areas and causing pain, doing small areas and taking too long, but this was none of the above. Coming from southern california to the bay area and couldn't find anyone with good reviews until I stumbled upon Geniana. She did a great job and payed attention to detail! Some peopel may say she takes longer than the usual 15 minutes but if that is your preference, tell her and she will accomodate! I honestly tried Bronze Me Brazilian because I read all the great reviews on Yelp. I couldn't be more satisfied than I am. I have pale and very sensitive skin but Geniana took good care to use the correct technique on my skin and besides that she explained all the procedures. She is amazing, very patient and good to distract you from the pain while she is waxing you. I even laughed with her stories. She uses hard and soft wax and the MOST IMPORTANT, she does not double dip. And I believe her wax must be the best wax in the market because I usually have a reaction with all the waxes I've used in the past, but not with the one she used. Hands down, best waxing experience I've had yet. The atmosphere is great, and the environment was pleasantly relaxing. I love how Geniana walks you through the waxing process by explaining each step she takes. She is very gentle and makes the experience almost painless. Well done!!! Geniana deserves more than 5 stars. This is my third tanning session. The best thing about Bronze Me Brazilian tanning solution is that you don't get your nails stained, and no solutions or treatment creams are necessary to cover your nails. In other places that I have gone, I got an allergic reaction on my cuticles because of the products they used on my nails. I recently relocated to Palo Alto form LA and was in search for a new waxer. I have tried other waxers in the Palo Alto area and was not happy with my results. I normally go to European Wax Center but overall I had a much more positive, relaxing, and professional experience with Geniana. Not only is she gentle but she is quick! I have seen all the positive reviews and I decided to check it out. Plus, the place has a promotion running right now for the first time- client tanning session of $15 off. Good deal to try different tan salon. Wonderful experience!!! I loved my tan!!! I didn't have any problems with streaking and it faded off even. The tanning color is beautiful and lasted two weeks. I do not have pale skin but I really wanted to try an airbrush tanning place, as I have never had one before. I was kind of nervous in looking orange or looking weird. I found Geniana in the financial district and she charges less and does a hydrating base coat and then a setting/ firming mist after the spray tan! I have very fair skin and wanted to be dark. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing…read more I had a confirmed appointment, completed the required waiver beforehand, and even arrived early. Despite having a confirmed appointment, no one showed up. I waited until about 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time before finally leaving. To make matters worse, the salon didn't contact me until 45 minutes after my appointment was supposed to begin. By that point, I had already left after waiting well beyond a reasonable amount of time. If I had been the one to no-show, I would have been charged a $195 no-show fee. Yet when the salon failed to show up for my appointment, there was no comparable accountability. Afterward, they apologized and offered me a complimentary session to make up for the inconvenience. I appreciated the gesture, but when I later texted to schedule that complimentary appointment, my messages were ignored. Offering to make things right doesn't mean much if you don't follow through. I also want to address their explanation about the bags outside. They said they weren't trash but clean towels from their towel service waiting to be brought inside. I actually find that explanation even more concerning. I arrived early and didn't leave until about 20 minutes after my appointment time, meaning those clean towels had been sitting outside on the street for well over an hour. If those towels were intended for customer use, leaving them outside exposed to the environment and the public for that length of time doesn't reflect the level of cleanliness I expect from a salon. I wasn't able to come back later that same day for the complimentary appointment because, after waiting so long with no one arriving, I had already walked down the street and gotten my lashes done by another lash artist. Overall, this experience reflected poor appointment management, poor communication, and a lack of follow-through. Having a confirmed appointment, completing the required paperwork, waiting over half an hour with no one showing up, not hearing from the salon until 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment, and then being ignored when trying to redeem the promised complimentary service was incredibly disappointing. I hope they improve their customer service so future clients don't have the same experience.

I booked a class and even called ahead to confirm my appointment. During the call, they told me I could come in at 2:45 PM instead of 3:00 PM, so I drove all the way there expecting to get my massage. When I arrived, they told me my appointment had been canceled just 22 minutes after I originally booked it because they had somehow confused me with another guest. The entire situation was incredibly disorganized and frustrating. To make matters worse, Hannah, the owner, provided little to no customer service. There wasn't a single sincere apology, and instead, she acted as though the situation was somehow my fault. If I hadn't called to confirm, I could understand there being some confusion. But I did call, and your staff explicitly confirmed my appointment and even asked me to arrive earlier. This wasn't my mistake--it was a failure in your booking system and internal communication. Please do better. Customers shouldn't have to waste their time driving to an appointment that your staff already confirmed.

She uses the hard wax which makes it soooo much less painful and actually somewhat bearable - if that's possible. I never tried brazillian waxing until one day Kasia convinced me and she's right: it's the best thing! On top of being talented and very well trained, she's really friendly and personable. She manages to make waxing pleasant and she puts you at ease. She just is so inviting and welcome that you just relax and forget about what she's doing.
